Most Helpful Positive Review Great protection for maskne! Lately, due to stress, my skin has been breaking out more than normal. Breaking a sweat with masks, working 4-9 hours a day hasn't exactly helped. I was super excited when I saw this product and decided to try it even before the reviews were in. I work at Ulta and get asked pretty frequently about what products are best for maskne and wondered if this would be my solution for my guests. We (beauty associates) were given an educational video about the Loli Beauty products, as this is a new brand at Ulta, and I was super impressed by their zero waste packaging and containers (the box is made of dried mushrooms!), no water in their products (most skin care ingredients mostly contain water), natural recycled power food ingredients, and cruelty free. After purchasing it, here were my first impressions: For one, I was a little shook by how ~small~ this jar is. I expected it to be the size of a baby food jar or so and it was definitely like a ~small~ jar of baby food. Secondly, this baby is LIQUID. Like, super liquid. Not even typical serum/spot treatment consistency. I mean, she drips. She's runny. I usually apply it with a skincare brush because frankly the idea of dipping my fingers into it seems unsanitary to me and they'd probably be pretty messy and drippy anyways. The smell is a little intense but I don't mind it. It dried on my skin pretty quickly and didn't leave a film. I've used this about four times now and overall, I'd say this is a great protector for maskne. My skin did not feel dirty and gross and congested after a long day of work as it normally does, when I've been sweaty and foggy inside my mask throughout the day. I didn't see any new blemishes, which, for my skin breaking out as frequently as it has, was uplifting. I will say that I didn't see much of a difference on my blemishes that were already there, though. It is said to also be a spot treatment, but I haven't really seen that feature. I'll probably stick with my usual spot treatments, but I'll for sure continue using this under my masks. She's a little pricey, but I don't exactly disagree with the price because I really appreciate the brand's quality ingredients.
Most Helpful Critical Review Destroyed my skin I put the smallest amount on my nose where a huge zit was forming and a tiny bit under it, moisturized when dry and went to bed. No difference the next day so I did it again. the next morning I woke up and my skin was destroyed in the places I put it, scaly, red, irritated patches that BURNED. I've used every moisturizer and calming mask I own and my skin looks wrinkled old and dried out in these places. This does not seem to be a consistent product as mine is definitely a jelly like packaging states and not liquidy at all like so many others have mentioned. It's like a thick granular jelly. And mine is tan colored not pink like in the picture?!? Has anyone e recieved one that is pink I'm curious? I certainly don't trust putting this on my face again I've worked to hard to have great skin to let a natural product ruin it like this has. I was especially surprised considering it is organic!

Acne Vulgaris is not talked about enough for me, so when I saw this product I got it. I use it for breakouts on my thighs. It really helps tame my skin condition. I have recommended to fellow Ulta shoppers. The only draw backs probably be for some ppl is the smell, which I think you need when your talking about fighting bacteria. The other is its jar form, which isn't the most convenient. Its worth the try.
Not what expected 1
Baltimore from Baltimore
The item I received (part of the trio) was a dirt pink (not the pink shown in items photo) and ALL WATER. There is zero substance to it, so definitely not a jelly. Additionally, it smelled awful. Due to those reasons and the concern of bad product, I am hesitant to used
More messy than anything 3
B-Abq from Albuquerque
got as part of sample pack of various products and glad I didnt waste $$ buying it. The smell is weird - smells vaguely like something fruity but also kind of spoilt. it's runny so not like a jelly. worst part is it flakes after 15 minutes. Pills, flakes, and doesnt actually stay on face so what's the point?
SO GOOD 5
Must have from College station
Okay so I have acne and this is amazing!!! So I use a turmeric soap from curly crown, then use this in the areas that I'm breaking out and moisturize and the next day it is down and not inflamed! I love it like it's amazing. Does dry a little so I only use it at night and moisturize twice a day! Sooo goooddddd
Does Work- Very Drying 3
Cfabs from Charleston
I got this product as a sample from ulta. I use it directly on my face as a spot treatment. While it does help blemishes, it makes the area of skin I use it on really dry, patchy and textured. No amount of moisturizer or face oil will quench the area. This is the second time this has happened to me. So, while I will say it does assist with treating blemishes, the textures feeling of my skin almost isn't worth it for me. I rather just use the acne patches/ stickers.
LOVE 5

Absolutely love this product, I have cystic acne and this keeps it flat!!! I will never not have this on my shelf! I will say that when I first got it I was too confused on how to apply or even get it out of the jar but I saw a review of someone using a q tip and I haven't looked back since. < 3

Was really excited for this, but… 1
Elise from PA
I was really hoping this would help with what I'll call 'contact acne' - masks, glasses etc. I'm already really careful about ensuring masks etc are clean. Tried this for a weekend and noted new breakouts where I usually don't have any! I'm bummed!
HG for Retinol Purge 5
CMMJ from Maryland
I started a retinol serum and am currently going through the dreaded purge phase. This soothes and minimizes eruptions without irritation, and helps speed up wound healing. It does leave a bit of a film, but I don't wear makeup so it's fine. Can't recommend this enough!
maskne fix 5
Maske no more from California
Masks are not my friend. This is the cure! Had to get several prescriptions for maskne, but none fixed my skin problem. I apply this to the area the mask covers on my face morning and night, followed by moisturizer once dry. Use Moisturizer! This has been a life saver through the mask mandates.
Only thing that works 5
Chelsea from PA
This works so well for my skin. I have hormonal acne on my chin that is raging with the mask wearing and nothing helps. As soon as I used this one night after cleansing, I woke up and my inflamed painful cystic acne was dramatically improved. It is very liquidy and I keep it in the fridge. I use a qtip to apply just to areas with breakouts. I don't know long term benefits but it was shocking how much this calmed my existing acne.
Watery 1
Margaret from Chicagoland
I thought this was supposed to be like a jelly. Mine came watery and not quite pink. I was afraid to use it since it did not look right.
Destroyed my skin 1

If your skin is at all sensitive do not use this. The first night, I woke up and it actually seemed to have calmed down my blemishes so I was super excited. However, the next night I applied a little bit before bed and woke up and my whole face was swollen, red, and scaly. It made my blemishes super red and itchy. I have very sensitive skin that pretty much reacts to everything so i have almost no option for acne treatment. I was super hopeful after reading reviews but this DESTROYED my skin overnight and with this kind of reaction it will take weeks of Vaseline to fix. Ugh. Super upset and will be returning ASAP.
The best spot treatment I've used. 5
Leslie from Arkansas
Other than the misleading use of "jelly" in the description, this is a 5 star product. I apply to any breakout I have with a qtip and it's usually dried up quickly. A little goes a long way so this little jar lasts a while. I've had it for almost 5 months and have over a third of it left.
My husband is obsessed 5
Lisa from CA
I bought this for my husband to use on his adult acne. He was hesitant at first, but now he adores this product and uses it daily, especially around his nose. I have not noticed any acne on his face in weeks. And he just nudged me to buy him more.
Seriously and shockingly amazing 5
Valerie from Philly
I'm not going to lie, when it comes to natural/organic skincare that is meant to treat acne, I don't get my hopes up too high because it seems like the ingredients aren't usually intense enough to really treat my adult acne. But this product is game changing…every time I use this product in the evening (before serum + lightweight moisturizer), the next morning I wake up with NOTABLY less acne and any trauma that was visible on my skin the night that I apply this looks healed. I love the concept of organic/environmentally friendly brands so I've been using them regardless of the fact they haven't been working when it comes to preventing/getting rid of my acne and I was feeling hopeless, kinda giving up, so to have this product come in and do what I felt was impossible - what a joy. I've experimented with it, using it steadily for days and then not using it for days or a week, and my skin only looks better and better as the days go on when I do use it. Another product that I feel helps treat/heal my skin that I like to use every other evening after cleansing and before applying this is the Pur dirty girl mud mask. DO NOTE - this arnica "jelly" does not have a gelatinous consistency - it has the consistency of liquid, like water. I use a cleaned, soft facial brush to dip into the product and then paint it all over my face. One more thing is that I store this in the fridge since my home is constantly hot in the summer and I didn't want to risk the product spoiling in the sun and heat my home experiences. The product stays in its liquid state when refrigerated. Not sure how much of an effect a cooled product really has on acne-prone skin, but I do feel confident that at least the potency of the product is extended. I look forward to trying other products from this brand and am thrilled to own a must-have product for treating my acne :)
I totally recommend this 5

I was getting acne on my chin ,I had tried pretty much everything I could find but this jelly worked wonders! I highly recommend if your skin is sensitive like mine... My acne cleared up in a week 👌
I love this product - clears breakouts 5

Great maskne rescue 5
JR from VA Beach
Only been using this for 2 days and my pesky maskne problem areas are already clearing up. It smells nice and protects my skin under my mask and a little bit goes a long way!
Works but the description is misleading 4
Green&Clean Lover from US
It works so well! It really does provide a barrier between my face and the mask. I have areas that are raw, irritated, peeling and this soothes and prevents excess oil from building up. The only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5 was that the description led me to believe that it was a jelly. I opened the jar and it spilled all over me 😕.
In the future please provide a better description of the product and how its applied. For example: "this delicate and silky smooth jelly serum will gently glide over irritated skin" or "gently apply the Arnica Elderberry jelly nectar using a cotton bud or your clean hands in upward circular strokes".
Very Liquidy 3
Queen from FtWorth
loved that Elderberry is in this but it's kind of messy. I recently spilled it.
Love this! 4
Wetz16 from NY
I was hesitant to buy this because LOLI products are a hit and miss for me but after trying dozens of "acne" products nothing has ever worked besides this. The smell is strange but it's not bad, just different. It's more herbal scented. It's also not a jelly which disappointed me because this is a watery consistency but it works well. It feels tight on the face when drying but when I put it on at night my forehead acne is reduced.
It works but difficult to apply 3
Nicole from NC
This product works, I found it really effective at reducing the inflammation of my acne, thus reducing my dark spots (PIH) but the texture is NOT jelly-like at all. It's a very runny liquid. You will need a brush (something flat like a concealer brush) or a qtip to apply. Using fingers is not recommended. The amount of product you get is really small but if you apply it like a spot treatment, it should last a awhile. I purchased this online so I don't know if it melted in transit but I did try to put it in my fridge and it didn't "set" to a jelly. I might purchase this again in store if the jars in store are not runny liquid.
OMG I love 5
Sylvia from Massachusetts
So basically it's awesome. Apply it over where you get acne it. It prevents and treats it so quickly and so well. It's so effective yet so gentle, not drying it anything. I use it for regular acne during that time of the month not just maskne. And I apply it a few times a day if my breakout is bad enough. Absolutely incredible product will be rebuying. A little goes a long way it is definitely worth the cost.
