Start by using 1 to 2 times a week, then gradually increase frequency to daily use. Recommended for nighttime use. After cleansing, apply a small amount of serum to your dry face and neck and allow it to absorb. Use alone or with your favorite DERMA E moisturizer. Follow with SPF in the morning.

I bought this serum after trying the derma E vitamin C serum and falling in love with it. I figured if I could live one product so much, I'd likely love other Derma E products. Not really the case at all. This retinol serum is extremely sticky and smells terrible. I tried to get over the smell knowing it's a "clean" product but it's really bad. I probably could have lived with the smell if it weren't for the texture. It never seems to soak in and leaves a sticky lip gloss feeling all over that has to actually be washed from your fingers. I tried quite a few times to get used to it but ended up returning.
STINKS.... literally!
This smells SO BAD that I couldn't even sleep with it on. I had to wash it off! I checked my bottle and it's not expired. I will be returning it!

It spreads evenly and nicely enough. The scent is a little funky though. Honestly I probably won't purchase this item again because of the smell. It almost smells like maybe it's old or went bad.
