Most Helpful Positive Review Loving it I love the way this feels on my hands and arms. So soft (way better feel than my Neutrogena SPF 110, but less power), not greasy or oily at all, just a comfortable moisturized soft feeling. It leaves the skin poreless and smooth! I attached a picture of my hand that was super rough, I exfoliated a little before using this and in one day it's all healed. There's a white cast (for anyone wondering), but nearly all sunscreens do, so it doesn't matter to me that much. It's super thick, but it spreads easily so you only need a little. I would maybe even mix in with another lotion just to use more of it (to make sure it's working, I usually rub in until it disappears since I use so little of it to begin with, otherwise it is leaves me WHITE and I am olive/tan naturally).
I got this sunscreen for free but this review is just my honest opinion, which is why it's so long, I hope it's helpful for anyone thinking of getting it. I would totally buy it again when this runs out!
Most Helpful Critical Review Interesting This is my first time using a high end sunscreen, previously used a SPF 15 drug store and it was greasy so I wanted to try something matte. I have normal-dry skin, I need to wear my basic moisturizer every day or else my skin will be parched. I also have post-inflammatory acne scaring that makes my skin tone darker than it usually is. 1) my dry skin ate up this sunscreen, the matte/powdery finish looks amazing when you use a SMALL amount and let it settle on your skin for 30 minutes, any time before the sunscreen settles or if you use a large amount made me look like a ghost. 2) since the sunscreen gave off a crazy white cast at first, after it settled it actually was able to lighten up my scarring to look more natural.
TL;DR: use a small amount, pea sized, it will cover so much.

A little goes a long way. I started using mineral sunscreens because the chemical sunscreens weren't doing their job and I started to get sunspots. I mainly use this while running or hiking. It does leave a slight white cast, but work it in and it's not too bad. This stays put while I'm sweating. Give it a try, and make sure you also put on your hands ladies!
She's thick! 3
Maggie E. from Phoenix, AZ
This product is VERY thick. By itself it does leave a very intense white cast and dries up quickly. I personally mix mine with the colloidal oatmeal lotion from First Aid Beauty and find that it goes on smoother after that. It's not a bad product, it works, but be wary if you are expecting a chemical fast absorbing sunscreen. If you have sensitive skin and would like good protection I would recommend. Plus it doesn't have any reef harming chemicals in it! I'll take mixing it with a little lotion. Another hack I have found is to add a small amount of my concealer or foundation when I am going out to make it tinted! I am recommending this just because it does work, it's just not for everybody. :)

It is a my real sunscreen and applies easily which I liked. What I didn't like and took 2 stars off is that it made me look like Casper the friendly ghost lol. I have light olive skin and it didn't work for me. If you have porcelain white skin it will work for you.
Do not buy this 1

It's thick and leaves a white cast. They have one for kids that's amazing which Ulta no longer Has. I thought I would try this instead. Not worth buying.
Save your money and the aggravation 1

This will leave you looking like a ghost. I only used a little bit following the comments of others that it form and white cast and it's true. I'm going back to the store for my money. Don't buy this! I was extremely disappointed as I'm a new fan of many others LRP products.
Tan skin = leaves a white caste 3
Colleen from Farmington, NM
Did not feel like I was wearing anything. Did not dry out my face or feel harsh on my skin. Finish is great. But…I have tanned skin and this product gave me a white caste on my face no matter how well I rubbed the product into my skin. It's a great product, just not for dark skinned people.

WHITE CAST!! I looked like a ghost with this on which is sad because I was very excited for it. No good for the face but probably great for the body. Would not purchase it again.
Super for sensitive skin but thick spreading 4

This is the first face sunblock I have used that does not burn even a little bit on your face which is so great I just wish it wasn't so thick to spread on.

I use this for my face, and it spreads great and doesn't burn around my eyes like most sunscreens do. Maybe it's because I'm pale but it does not leave a white cast on me.
PLEASE NO 1

DO NOT GET THIS! It leaves a really really bad white cast, is unusually thick and I literally had to SCRUB my face for 10 minutes to get it off
Best sunscreen ever! 4

I love this product. I have been using for years now. Unfortunately the size got smaller. Now is 90ml instead.
Oh she thick 5

I prefer to use a lighter lotion style sunscreen when indoors, but for a girls weekend at a lake I was happy to have used this. It does have a white cast and it's thick. I would continue using this for days when I'll be out in the sun.
Slight white cast, moisturizing, protective. 5
Gianna S from Los Angeles, CA
It does leave somewhat of a white cast, but it settles on your skin as times goes by. For reference, I am Hispanic and have medium tone skin. I use the sunscreen on my face and it feels moisturizing and not oily. A little definitely goes a long way!
Nice sunscreen! 4
MariaH78 from Texas
The texture of this sunscreen is nice and thick and you can definitely feel the coverage of the layer over your skin. However, this product really needs to be massaged in or you will be left with a white cast! I don't mind it but you really need to work it in otherwise you'll be all white! Just takes some time blend away but other than that it's nice!

This is one of my go to sunscreens. It can be used on both your face & body. It is dermatologist recommended & non irritating. It comes out white but fades into a clear application once you rub it in. I like that it doesn't feel too heavy. Plus it is works well with my skin type. This is a staple in my skin care stash. I bought this sunscreen 3 years ago with my colleague's recommendation and although I had thought I liked it, now I realize that I shouldn't have. First, white cast is just crazy, no matter how much I warm it up in my hand, it doesn't work for me + it gets even worse once water touches it. Although I was satisfied with the protection and satin-like finish of it, it wasn't an easy application. For the price, I'd say there are more affordable and better sunscreens out there since it's a little too much for a drugstore brand.

This is one of the best sunscreens you will get for your face. It is great for sensitive skin it is fragrance free and water resistant. With Cell-ox shield this sunscreen provides UVA/UVB protection and antioxidants.
My new favourite 5

Im mean yeah it has some kind of whitecast but it cancels out the redness on my face really well and dont have to usw that much foundation anymore. It won't stay super white and shiny. After 5-10 minutes it dries down a bit more translucent and matte. When you're on the paler and more oily side i find it works pretty well.
I should have read the description and reviews better... 2

This is fine but I definitely will be returning. I know that mineral based sunscreens tend to have a heavy white cast and can be more difficult to blend in so I was prepared for that. It was a bit annoying because it made me look 2 shades paler than I am and I know longer matched my face makeup because of that. But again I was kind of prepared for that. What I wasn't prepared for is what they call a "powder-like finish." Ooph. I looked like a porcelain doll and not in a good way. White and chalky. It felt drying on my skin. Not what I'm looking for for a daily body SPF. Just keep that in mind when purchasing!

I love how lightweight it feels on the skin ; the only bummer is the white cast. I did get this sample sized and I do happen to enjoy the wear. However, would not purchase as it has a white cast

My Dermatologist recommended sunscreen with Zinc. This has 5% titanium and 15% Zinc. Very good sun blockage, not just screened! Rubs in clear. Smells fine. Affordable and will buy again due to ingredients! La Roche Posay Anthelios Body and Face Sunscreen Lotion - Spf 50 - 3.04 fl oz
leaves white cast 1
Trying hard from Vienna, VA
I have been working really hard to remove the sun spots on my face and wanted a really good sunscreen to prevent any more. I was so disappointed when no matter what I did, it made my face look white. I can't go out in public looking like that. I so much wanted to love this sunscreen and instead I'm going to have to throw this expensive bottle in the trash. I have fair to medium tone skin.
White cast is terrible 2
Ari from Kentucky
I tried it on at first and was like oh this will sink in.. I will not be wearing this out again. It's such a hard lotion to work into the skin and it feels greasy and leaves white cast really bad and makes you shine like you just stepped out of the gym.
