Most Helpful Positive Review Absolutely Goof Proof for a pale girl on the run I have a habit of running about 20 minutes late when I need to leave the house and with COVID I've gotten a little out of practice with applying makeup on the run. Honestly, a lot out of practice. I picked this up because I haven't tried any hourglass and i have a weakness for all in one palettes that make it easy to do an entire face. This is IT. There is no guess work, I can just slap this on the face and the eyes and it blends seamlessly every time. No weird creasing, no overdoing it by accident (I am unnecessarily pale and it's very easy to go overboard). It helps me looked put together when I've left makeup until last minute and need to be out the door. Just 1-2-3 on the face and lids and I'm done in all of 2 minutes. Amazing quality, beautiful finish for pale skin. I was hesitant about the blush, as it looks purple in the pan, but you don't need to be. It is a lovely berry-pinky flush, like you've just come in from the cold. 10/10 will be re-buying when I hit pan. One thing: I don't think this would work great for anything past light-medium to medium skin tone. I have a Mum who is more of a topaz than a pearl (Becca highlighter scale) and the bronzer looks like foundation on her. But if you are a fellow pale girl, this will not disappoint!!
Most Helpful Critical Review Ethereal edit I purchased ethereal edit because it looked whimsical and magical. The blush is fine in the palette. Actually very pretty. However that is where it ends. The other two shades are just glitter. They are like a see through powder with glitter. No pigment or glow is given on the face other than glitter. Yes, the glitter is fine particles but it is still glitter at the end of the day which I cannot do. I am 39. Glitter does not suit me well. Sadly this was returned and I will probably just by a single blush shade since I really liked it in the palette.

I'm obsessed. This palette is so simple to use you can't go wrong. The finishing powder is so subtle you might not think it's doing anything but take a look at your skin in the car mirror (we all know that mirror hits different) and you will see your skin looking so natural and healthy. I'm an oily skin gal so didn't know if I'd like the subtle glow from any of the powders, especially the highlighter but somehow this is the first highlighter that I've used that I actually like that doesn't make me look super slick and oily. The packaging is so sleek and whenever I use it it is such a luxurious experience. The pans themselves are a little small so it's hard to fit certain brushes in them but a little goes a long way with these powders

The product is beautiful. But I think it's made for a younger woman. The powder seemed to highlight my lines. 😑

Good but Pricey 4

What I got is the Diffused Edit Palette which contains the Diffused Light Finishing Powder, Euphoric Fusion Blush and Luminous Bronze. This is my first ever Hourglass product. I let myself splurge because it was Mother's Day. I fell in love with the Finishing Powder. It leaves a smooth and ethereal look on your face that I didn't believe was possible. It doesn't emphasize the skin texture. The blush I didn't like so much because it does the opposite of the finishing powder. It exaggerates my acne scars. For the bronzer, I use it as a blush because I don't really use a bronzer. It looks a bit muddy on me. What I love doing is mixing the blush and bronzer together as my blush and the effect is beautiful. For some reason, the combination hides the texture on my cheeks. Lastly, the most deterrent for those trying out Hourglass is the price. It is super pricey for me. I'd recommend buying this when there's a big discount or promo going on. I can live without it if my budget don't support it. Those with budget will love it because it really is a good palette.
Luxury all in one palette 5
Drea from Oceanside CA
HOURGLASS makes my favorite cosmetics! They are luxurious and work exactly as stated! This palette is very convenient on the go as it has setting powder, blush and highlighter all in one sleek compact. The packaging is really nice also!
Bad marbling on my blush 3
abc1111 from Seattle, WA
Beautiful powders but disappointed with the marbling on the blush in my palette. There's not much colorbas seen on the photo I've added here. It works as a finishing powder instead of a blush esp when using squirrel brushes.

I got all 4 of these edits I just love them! So much to choose from! My favorites are diffused edit and ethereal edit. Great for fair skin!
Beautiful but overpriced 5
Jam from Los Angeles
Gorgeous tones! I got the luminous edit and the tones are beautiful. I mainly got it for the blush. I don't think it's a must have though but I am glad I got it.
The BEST pallet I've ever tried!!! 5
Drea from Oceanside CA
Believe the hype!!! The hype is real!!! Makes your skin look like you came from heaven, definitely worth the price! I don't think I will ever be able to use other brands again after being blown away like this!
Amazing 5

LOVE it! It's quickly become my go-to in the morning everyday
I want all of them! 5
Ashall from IL
These are seriously so perfect and gorgeous. I have dim & luminous, and every time I do my makeup, I use 5/6 powders, so I really just have to choose which blush I want to use. All of the powders really blur the skin. I purchased several other hourglass products and they are awesome as well!

I hate that I love this palette so much. It's definitely a splurge but it looks sooo good on the skin. It adds so much glow and life to my skin and I am here for it.

Luminous Edit: Stunning! 5
amanderosem from Charlotte, NC
Hourglass powders have no match and this palette is no exception. The texture is velvety soft, light on the skin, not patchy, and it makes your skin look like a baby skin (luminous, fresh, etc.) it is not glittery, although it may appear like that when swatching, this is why I was hesitant at first, but after reading Survivor Peach review I took the plunge and I'm so glad I did. Perfect everyday palette.
Great product and worth the money! 5
Doodles from NJ
I love this palette, it has 3 different products that I wanted to try before purchasing the bigger size. Hourglass products are so good and worth the money!! Their blush, bronzer and finishing powder go on flawlessly. The only negative is you never know what kind of marble you're going to get with Hourglass. My palette had a terrible bronzer (barely any of the darker bronzer color) but the lady at Ulta exchanged it out for me. it's annoying to have to do this often .. hourglass should not bother with selling the ones that don't turn out well, it gets thrown away after returns. What a waste of other colors in the palette and the packaging! Anyways, the finishing powder in this palette works best for my undereyes. I prefer dim light for the rest of my face. I'm glad to see Ulta carrying this brand now!!
Diffused Edit on very fair skin 4
Kells from Michigan
I am very fair and the colors in diffused spoke to me, I thought I'd try it out and see if they weren't too dark. This is the most beautiful palette I've gotten in quite some time. I used my Ulta points because good lord the price. But I'm so glad I did. If you're looking to treat yourself, 10/10 recommend. Don't be afraid of this tone it's gorgeous and so pretty for fall and winter. I mix the blush and bronzer on the same brush and blend that tone out. I couldn't be happier this is beautiful. I'm mad it was so good because it's so pricy.
Gorgeous but expensive 4
Jam from Riverside ca
This is a beautiful palette but it's over hyped. I feel like you can get cheaper alternatives for a fraction of the cost and still achieve the same effect. I would think to buy this again but glad I got to try it for myself since hourglass is so hyped.
Love it 5
Steph from Ohio
I love all the lighting and blush pallets from hourglass but the incandescent highlight on the far right is a little more glittery then I would prefer but it's still such a beautiful glow and your skin looks absolutely flawless. I got the luminous flush one.
DIFFUSED LIGHT - Perfect for FAIR/LIGHT tones 5
Sweet Home Alamanda from AL
DIFFUSED LIGHT - If you are Fair/Light skin tone, YOU WILL LIKE! It may appear darker than it looks in the photos, but as someone who has very light-to-fair skin, IT WORKS PERFECTLY FOR ME. When you first receive it, imo it looks/is much lighter than it looks in the photos online; however even if it looked the same, it would've been fine. The powder in 'Diffused Light' is a perfect finishing powder, the lilac blush tone seems "fall/winterish" (this time of year) to me, which I LOVE, and the bronzer is just right bc it's easily buildable. Worth the price in my opinion! ;)
Really pretty 5
Lauda53 from Oregon
This palette is super beautiful. The bronzer and the blush go so well together. It is consistent with their formula. It gives the most beautiful healthy glow. Highly recommend.
Dim edit 5
Lauren from Georgia
I've purchased hourglass products before and loved them. I was super excited to see Ulta is now carrying the brand! I purchased the Dim edit and wow! The blush is amazing. Super pigmented and gives a soft glow. The dim light powder (left of blush) gives an all over blur to face and smooths everything out. The highlight is a nice soft highlight. Definitely not blinding, but that is the point. Your make up routine needs this palette :)
Diffused Edit Review 5
pewter68 from Las Vegas, NV
I got this palette as soon as it dropped at Ulta. So far, I really like it. I purchased Diffused Edit. The all over powder on the left really does diffuse light and blur imperfections. The blush is very pigmented, so I try to use just a minimal amount of it. The bronzer was a surprise, as it is more pigmented than I realized. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase, and have purchased even more Hourglass powders to play with. I will say that the left powder does make me shinier as the hours tick by. I have combo to oily skin, so I don't prefer to be so shiney. I think I'll play around with it more and use less the next time I use it. I've read reviews where people strictly use it as a highlighter or under eye powder, so I'll try that next time.
