Good for oily skin; good color match; smooth finish
I am an older person (over 70) yet my skin is still fairly oily (no breakouts or acne). I have used the cream version of the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation for many years, usually in shade 18B (which is now only available on line-sometimes!). I wanted something lighter and decided to try the powde...

Looks nice on the skin, but is hard to get the product out
I bought 12N for my fair skin and it matched very well, it does look pretty nice once it's on the skin and I have pretty difficult skin when it comes to any foundation type of products. I have some texture, lines, redness, and large pores (actually large, not the kind that you have to stare into a m...

Awesome!
Love this foundation and its ingredients are clean. Easy to apply with a makeup sponge and love how I can layer for coverage which is great.
size has changed by .3oz
I love this stuff but, it has changed the size and the coverage. I am so glad got it, while it was on sale for $20 because I don't believe I would pay $40 because there are so many new ones out there that do the same thing way cheaper.
Love this powder foundation
Love Amazonian Blunrring power it goes on like butter and great coverage. I just think I need a different color.
Wanted to love it…
The majority of my makeup bag is Tarte, except that I have been using Fenty powder foundation for a few years. It was discontinued around the same time that this came on the market, and with the description and reviews I was hopeful that this would be a good replacement. It wasn't. It's supposed to be a match for 22N that I use in the ShapeTape line, but it's too fair. I could handle a shade swap, but the makeup itself does not wear elegantly. It wears thick (even using a brush and applying as thin as possible) and accentuates imperfections (pores, texture, etc.). Very "makeupy." Think thick, 90s makeup. Aged me. I really had high hopes, but this one isn't for me. Maybe it would work for someone who wants very full coverage but has flawless skin? Not sure why you would want to cover flawless skin like that, though.
no not really
Not satisfied the way it looks after applying

Would this work for more mature skin? Will it settle in the fine lines?
- Asked by Kelly
- Official Answer By Tarte - Brand EngageYes! Amazonian Clay Blurring Powder Foundation is a great option for mature skin. Its lightweight, blurring formula helps smooth the look of skin without feeling heavy. For the best results, we recommend applying a light layer and building coverage as needed. Since everyone's skin is unique, we also suggest prepping with a good moisturizer for the smoothest finish. Was this answer helpful to you

Is this like a powder foundation and highlighter in one??
- Asked by Kris1979
- Official Answer By Tarte - Brand EngageThis is specifically a powder foundation, not a highlighter. It has a natural matte finish that blurs pores and evens skin tone — no shimmer or glow effect. Was this answer helpful to you
