This Smashbox Cream to Matte lipstick has went above and beyond my expectations. I was afraid it would leave my lips dry and peeling. I was also concerned about it bleeding outside my lip lines. When I applied my lipstick I outlined my lips then dabbed the centers gently and blotted my lips together for a full coverage look. The precision tip created in the stick allowed me to achieve a desired look especially along the upper lip. It dried fairly quick. It didn't leave my lips feeling dry because it has a primer oil in the base of the lipstick. It's all long lasting and you can achieve 12 hours of this lipstick on without smudging, bleeding, feathering, cracking, or leaving your lips dry and wanting to peel! It's also waterproof which I like if I'm out on a rainy day. I was concerned about it caking around my "already" chapped lips but it never done so. It gave me full coverage! It has a deep pigment so the color you see is the color and tone you get. Being a mom and wife, we know how important it is to not transfer those beautiful lips onto your children's cheeks or husbands! I even tested it on the sleeve of my white t shirt! No transfer took place. That being said, it came off nicely with a good makeup remover or you can easily remove with gentle soap and lukewarm water. This is my go-to for a good lip and look from now on! Definitely recommend! I wore mine out running errands in town and my lips stayed looking bold and fresh all day!Most Helpful Critical ReviewOne of the worst formulasInitially, the application is so creamy. The shape of the bullet doesn't really affect the application one way or another. Dries down quickly, so you have to work fast. Doesn't layer well. It would pill on my lips within 10 minutes of applying. Crumbles off if you lick your lips. It wears off quickly and patchy. I've tried dozens of lipstick formulas - traditional and liquid - and this was one of the worst. You're better off trying their original liquid formula.
