Most Helpful Positive Review My new best friend I have tried several salon brand shampoos and conditioners to try and tame my wild hair.. it's oily at my scalp, dry everywhere else, frizzy, thick and wavy/curly. I love to just air dry my hair and run but it's so frizzy and looks terrible.
After using this shampoo with the same conditioner I am able to just wash my hair and run. No need to spend hours trying to blow dry and style. It really is a miracle for my hair.
It doesn't cause excess oil on my scalp and gives my ends enough so they aren't crazy!
Most Helpful Critical Review Read the reviews! Not for fine hair, even if it's dry. I have thick, but very fine hair. The reviews say that if your fine hair is very dry, you should be fine, but YIKES. I just got out of the shower about 30 minutes after using it for the second time, I've blow-dried my hair, and my hair is GREASIER than it was when I got in the shower! My hair looks so heavy and weighted down, so dull and lifeless, and it somehow made my scalp even itchier? When I run my fingers through my hair, my fingers catch on all the grease in my hair. I know I scrubbed all the conditioner out, it's certainly not a build-up of that. The first wash was pretty bad too, but so much worse this time. Idk if it's the sulfates, but this is the grossest feeling. I haven't ever met a Redken product I didn't like, but I think I just found my first. Now that I've written this review, I'm going to go pull my old shampoo out from under the sink and rewash my hair.

I tried to give this product the benefit of the doubt but I refuse to lose any more hair. Literal clumps falling out with each wash and I've never had a problem with hair loss before. The hair strands themselves have gotten super thin and break too easily. Before this product my hair strands were so much thicker and springier. I'm mad at myself I should've listened to the other 1 star reviews. Seriously, don't risk it!

Bought the shampoo and conditioner while the jumbo sale was on. I was expecting great results with my hair since it's fairly pricey for shampoo and had good reviews but instead it left my hair feeling rough and dry which in turn made my hair greasy after just one day. I did a test with my boyfriend's 2 in 1 shampoo and my hair looked and felt better than when I used the redken which is just crazy

I love Redken All Soft Mega Shampoo, my hair is damaged from coloring and hot tools and this helps. I like that it's safe for colored hair, free of Parabens and Sulfates, and keeps the frizz away. My hair actually lays down flat, and keeps the dead ends away. It's a great shampoo, it's all I use now.

I loved the All Soft line to begin with. Recently ran out of it when Ulta had the Liter sale. Perfect timing! Saw they have All Soft MEGA and I decided to try it. Glad I did. 3 days later after using the shampoo/conditioner STILL SOFT AND CLEAN!

I gave this product 4 stars because I don't agree with the price. This is very good shampoo but 23 dollars is steep for a 10 Oz bottle. I bought this shampoo because I got my hair colored and needed a shampoo to preserve it. It made my hair feel super soft and my scalp feel very clean! I have very coarse hair and I feel like this shampoo has helped my hair.

My hair has been very dry and brittle with noticeable thinning. I studied several brands and threw my hands up with frustration. Then I remembered how my hair loved Redken products years ago.
I purchased a sample of this Mega product. My hair did not feel stripped of natural oils and was easy to comb through even before the conditioner. My hair looks shinier and feels great. I will definitely stick with it.

I know most of the reviews for this shampoo is dealing with hair loss, however I did not have hair loss from this. In fact, both the shampoo and conditioner from this line weighed my hair down and made it oily. I had to return unfortunately :/

I have 2C/ 3A hair and I was pleasantly surprised at how soft it left my hair. I recently had my hair done and the hair dresser ruined my hair. I had a lot of damage. This product improved my hair tremendously. I have way less frizz and defined curls. Finally found something that really does make a difference.

I hate leaving a low review for this one, because i love redken.. this was not the one :( my hair felt so greasy after and I don't usually have greasy hair.. and not in a moisturized way, but like.. yucky.. I had thick, dry, damaged hair when I used this, so that may have not been a good hair/ product marriage.. it smells great, I really wanted to love it.. but nope.

I've tried everything on my hair. I have 2c-3a curls, very fine individual hairs, but an absolute TON of it. This results in extremely tangled, frizzy hair that takes forever to manage. But not with All Soft! I used it religiously when I was in my late teens and early twenties, but eventually got bored and started trying new stuff. I never could quite get that softness back with anything else, but chalked it up to hormones from having babies and living in weird climates.
Recently, I started struggling with new coarser hairs (I'm 37 and starting to see some gray). Those hairs were getting tangled and snapping off, which hurts like crazy and makes my hair look like I stuck my finger in an electrical outlet. I was losing so much hair every time I washed, and was washing far less frequently to save my hair from certain death. Frustrated and frizzy and honestly ready to shave my head, I went back to my old friend All Soft (and leveled up to the Mega version), and washing my hair is pleasant again! The comb goes through like butter, and my hair feels soft and pliable. Hallelujah!

I have wavy thick hair. I'm very skeptical about shampoos. I also bought the conditioner. After using the shampoo my hair felt straw like. Very clean. The conditioner helped a ton. A day after my hair is very soft without any other products! I think this is the one I'll have to keep using it though.

I received this as a sample and liked what it did for my hair. It made my hair super soft. However, I don't recommend for colored hair, it made my hair bronzy.

I bought this to help my hair feel less dry and it worked. However, this left me with so much buildup on my scalp that made my hair smell terrible all the time because it was not properly cleansing the oils off my scalp.
