Most Helpful Positive Review Clean & Beautiful Skin! I have been using the Micellar wipes since they first came out and love them. When I saw this new product decided to give it a try. Since I have dry skin I purchased the purple one (which is for combo/dry skin). To use it place a small amount (size of a quarter) in your palm and rub between hands. Apply to your dry face and gently swirl all over. Then either rinse off or use a tissue. It works well to remove makeup and leaves your face soft. However, I do wear a lot of makeup (primer, foundation, blush, bronzer, eye shadow, eye liner, mascara) and it did not remove my mascara. I still had to use the (purple) Take the Day Off to get both the mascara and eye liner completely removed. I also found that the Clarifying Lotion (#2) picked up much more makeup on the cotton pad then it does when I used the wipes to remove my makeup. Although I like the product the wipes work much better at removing all your makeup.
Most Helpful Critical Review Still irritating Since the eye makeup remover lotion was reformulated a very long time ago, I stopped being able to use it.The new ( early 2000's)version burned my eyes, so did Cetaphil cleanser, so you understand how sensitive I am! At that time, I had been using the Comforting Cream Cleanser to take off my face makeup. I then realized that it also made an amazing eye makeup remover, even better than the lotion specifically for eyes, and Cetaphil, because it lifted off waterproof mascara and everything else when just massaged into the eyes and then removed with a wet cotton ball, and the face was tissued off and then gone over with the Mild Clarifying Lotion (only one that was alcohol free and tolerated by my skin, and also discontinued for quite awhile!!). So when I saw this released, I was sure that it was finally the replacement for the long gone Comforting Cream Cleanser. I bought it immediately! Even in the extra mild version, it burned my eyes and didn't remove makeup nearly as well as my old favorite! I know that I am unusually sensitive, but there must be products on the market, especially by Clinique, which was my mother's go to brand, and I was introduced to it when there were virtually no other fragrance free products on the market! News of a bonus week was like a holiday for me! Today there are many FF and "clean" products available across all price categories. However, I still have not been able to find a cream cleanser that removes all makeup without causing irritation or a greasy residue in my eyes (Take the Day Off Balm, I am talking to you!). If anyone knows of any dupes for the Cleanser or Mild Clarifying Lotion, Clinique reps or fellow consumers, the info would be greatly appreciated.

Using this cleanser is like washing your face with lotion! It does not foam or bubble at all. It did not remove my make up and my face did NOT feel clean afterwards. I used my toner right after and a lot of make up was on the cottonball. I tried using this multiple times and never liked the result
Useless 1
A from Florida
Useless greasy product. It did not clean or take off my make up. Very hard to rinse off because it is so greasy.
Clean skin 5

This cleanser is great. It removes all my make up and makes my skin clean. I like that I can use this to remove and clean my face instead of using 2 products.
Very suitable for my skin 5

Use this after washing, the skin is clean, but not very dry

This has got be one of the worse skin products I have used in a long time. Does not get makeup off and leaves behind some sort of film on my skin. Overall terrible, terrible product and huge waste of money.
It's a good cleanser for people with acne 4

Having dry skin makes it hard to find a cleanser that cleans your skin good without drying it out and this cleans it good but it does dry it out a little bit.
Nice cleanser for sensitive skin 4

This is a nice cleanser. I have very sensitive skin and it was not at all irritating. I agree the packaging is not ideal. For those who have complained about the packaging: (1) store upside down to get the first half of the bottle out; (2) add water to the remaining product, it becomes more of a thick lotion than a cream and easily comes out of the bottle.
All in one cleansing micellar milk + make up remover 3

Thought I would try a Clinique cleanser. I like the feel of it , however, it does not remove my mascara. I would recommend for just a facial cleanser, but not a makeup remover.
The regular cleanser removes makeup better 2
Jill J from MA
This leaves my skin feeling less clean than when I started, and when I use the toner after there is always makeup on the cotton ball—whereas with the regular Clinique cleanser the cotton ball is always clean afterwards. Save yourself some time and money and skip this one.
A staple in winter skin care routine! 5
Daria from Chicago
This is the only cleanser that removes my makeup and sunscreen entirely and leaves my skin hydrated and comfortable. I massage it over my face then gently remove with warm wash cloth. Love it!

Perfect first step 5

I really like the light creamy consistency of this milk. I am a big believer in the double cleanse process and I use this first to get all my makeup off with a cotton pad. Then I wash my face with the all about face wash mild. My face feels super soft afterwards and ready for Clarifying lotion 2 and DDML. My favorite part about the milk is that when you spread it over your face it turns into a very light almost oil like cream, but it doesn't feel oily afterwards, just very hydrated! It is much lighter than the balm with the same results and it's perfect for my combination skin.
Not a replacement for the cleansing milk 2
TexasGirl from Texas
I have been trying this for awhile because I wanted to give it a fair shot. The cleansing milk was a HG for me and I purchased so many bottles of it. This stuff I will not repurchase. It is nothing like a micellar or cleansing milk product. It is very thick and difficult to get out of the bottle and leaves a greasy feeling on my mostly normal skin. It does an OK job of removing light-weight makeup (all I am wearing nowadays) hence the 2 stars. Clinique, please bring back the real cleansing milk.

It used very good
I love it
Nice idea 4
DianeT1 from Michigan
I liked the idea of a one step process at the end of the day. Unfortunately this doesn't remove mascara or eye liner very well. Also it is very difficult to get out of the container even though I store it upside down.
It's Okay 3

Wish the soap and the cleansing micellar milk bottles didn't look so much alike, and I read it a little closer. My mistake was going by the sample bottle, When I looked it up. I seen the All In One Clean and clicked. My mistake.. I kept it for that reason and hey, I've hardly been dissatisfied with any purchase or sample items. Can't say I love this, It's just okay..
Love this 5

This gently removes all my makeup-even my waterproof mascara. I use 2 large cotton ovals. I rub the product in and let it sit for a few seconds. Then, I wipe it off with one oval and repeat the process once more for a total of 2 cotton ovals. I have dry, sensitive skin and products like this are a must.

Gentle, thorough makeup removal, without dryness
My lovely makeup remover 5
Maryna from Ukraine
Very like. There were no particular problems with the skin, but with this soap it seemed to become even smoother. It is consumed very economically. After washing without cream, the skin begins to tighten, with the cream everything is ok. No dryness, no fat content, no rashes during use (three weeks) did not appear. There are a few black dots on the nose, they have become smaller.
I don't know what this is ... 2

I tried the sample of the micellar milk for skin types 3,4 at Ulta. It took off makeup I was testing on my hand beautifully. I bought it with the intentions of using it as a first step oil cleanser. It melts down to an oil consistency but it felt like burning on my face. so sad ... I have no allergies and do not have sensitive kin .. I don't know what gives but I wanted to love it so badly. The creaminess is a dream but I can't wash my face with a product that burns.
A lot left in the bottle. 3
Laure from Connecticut
I like this cleanser a lot, particularly in the morning just to refresh my skin. In fact, I have ordered this twice. The problem is there is a lot left in the bottle that will not come out before it is empty. I even store the bottle upside down, but that doesn't help. I've added water to use as much as possible, but diluting the lotion is not optimal. I will use a different cleanser, but sorry this one is off my list.
Leaves my skin oily 2
Kelbre84 from Dillon, MT
I was very excited to try this product. I am sad to say that I am not a fan of this. I feel like it leaves my face oily and it does not do a great job of removing all of my make up. I do have to use an additional make up remover to get all of my mascara off of my face. I also feel like I need to wash my face with my regular Clinique face soap to feel like my face is all the way clean.
my love 5

Liquid makeup remover is convenient, fast and easy to carry.
Very clean 5

I'm not dry after washing my face, and I'm still very clean.
The bottle is difficult for dispensing the product 2
Janet from Houston, Texas
I feel like so much of this product was wasted in the bottle, because I had trouble getting it out, especially at the end. I miss the Take the Day Off Cleansing Milk and found this to be a poor subsitute.
