this is Amazing I'm sad Alchemist only has 3.4 stars. This was my first Rituel de Fille purchase and I thought it was stunning and looks so expensivey(not a word, I know :) ) on the face! I think people may not be reading the description very well before purchasing. It is intended as a highlight topper and performs very differently over highlighter esp their creme ones. it makes them brighter n irridescent. I actually like it alot by itself. it not a Traditional highlighter n not necessarily intended to be one but I enjoy it by itself for a sisrkly and dewy highlight. If tapped on Very sparingly and blended out properly it turndbti mire of a sheen but yea still sparkly. if you not into glitter you won't like it. As for the not drying down I don't really notice that at all once it goes on again in very small amounts it doesn't seem to move or feel gooey or sticky but I was already aware of the not drying down before hand so was prepared. Anyway, yea it's unique def. nit fir everybody but I do Love it sooo much! It has really gotten me into Rituel de Fille! I was surprised how much better this pretty expensive brand looked on me compared to my usual high end drug store choices. I'm not sure why I'm surprised, better quality,therefore higher price, so better product, usually. Nit ticket science not sure why I would be surprised by this. but it is a high end luxury yet glittery product. super super fun to just swipe all over your face in every place that anyone has ever thought it out highlighter! ok. Great fun product. the end :)
Glitter in goo. Rituel de Fille's content on Instagram always fascinated me. Their campaigns are different from all other cosmetic companies. Dark, moody, sensuous, mysterious, and just flat out gorgeous. This product, in theory, is a dream. Glass skin...yes please. A bit of an ethereal color shift? Check. A bit of a balmy texture? That's fine. You have to have that to get a true wet look. The problem lies in the fact that it's not finely milled shimmers producing a wet sheen. It's actually gooey...think petroleum jelly thickness (not balminess) with chunky glitter suspended unevenly throughout it.
This may look fantastic photographed editorially, but it's not practical at all.
Ok. So. It won't work for me as a highlighter. That's ok, I say. I'll use it as an eye gloss, both over shadows and alone.
The two stars I've given it are for the look here. It is stunning used that way. Sure, your eyeshadow creases over time. But that happens with any lid gloss. Just tap tap tap it out...or rock the grungy creases.
Over bare lids...it's an ethereal dream. EXCEPT...about 10 minutes in, and for the next 2 days, my lids are itchy, red, and visibly swollen.
I wanted to love this so badly, it's just not for me.

This isn't a highlighter, it's highlighter for your highlighter. A highlighter topper. It's beautiful layered over your highlighter, to take it up a notch. HOWEVER, it's even more stunning when used on bare skin. It only requires the tiniest amount of product, but if you tap it then smoosh it betwixt your fingers before you apply it, it breaks up the larger flakes of mica into ultra fine particles. Then it applies much more like a traditional highlighter. Amazing what playing with a product can do.

I love this brand, just not this product. It's high quality and it didn't break me out, but it's not what I expected. It's an oily cream with glitter in it. Its base color is clear. I would prefer more glitter density if I was buying glitter makeup on purpose. I would prefer more blendable glow with a lighter base color in a product marketed as a highlighter. I will use this on my body for festivals but I can't figure out a good use on my face. The glitter migrated too easily when I tried to put it just on my cheekbones and that wasn't a sophisticated look. The glitter feels too abrasive for near the eyes

I have a love -dis like(but not hate) the color is beautiful, but the product itself felt very … glossy? Sticky? For a highlight. I could touch my face hours later and it still felt sticky. I loved the color but it would be hard to rebuy this knowing it doesn't dry down. I loved the packaging though! It came in a fun bag with shredded paper def high quality experience

I like to put it in my inner corners for a tears of glitter look and on my cheeks for daily disco grunge. Just opening the package inspires me both visually and through smell. A remind to self, makeup washes away - enjoy the play.
