Most Helpful Positive Review BEST POWDER/ FOUNDATION I'VE EVER FOUND I got this when they had a Buy Two Get Two Free sale. I didn't like the Fabulous Face Foundation Compact - too heavy for mature skin ( early 50s ). But THIS one was PERFECT! They even let me exchange the one I'd opened and didn't like for another one of these, so I have several different shades for each tone of my skin this summer ( IF we ever get a summer! ). This goes on quickly and isn't any more expensive than the other brands you get in drug stores, after you consider the B2G2 deal I got. I'm VERY happy with this product and will spend the little extra money for it since it's so much better than ordinary brands.
I will ALWAYS use this Powder/Foundation; as I get older, it doesn't show my wrinkles like some products do!
Most Helpful Critical Review The Coloring was waaaaaaay off This product was not offered in a skin tone close enough to my own. I am a caramel colored, African American woman that wants full-coverage at a decent price. This color dried and made me look extremely pale; I looked as if I'd been playing in cake flour. Unfortunately, the next in sequence was way too dark. There was no in-between that satisfied my needs. More work could be done in this area and I would be a bonafide customer of the Ulta brand beauty products.

I was looking for a pressed powder foundation that I could put on easily at work (I'm lazy and always forget to do it at home.) I was debating between this and a more expensive brand, but the reviews were about the same for both products, so I thought I might as well try out the less-expensive one and if it doesn't work out, I won't have lost too much. Well, what a pleasant surprise, this one is great! It may not be right for everyone, but here are the pros for me: It has great coverage! I was so impressed by how much it covered with just one application, it evened out my freckly skin so well! And it's easy to build on too. The shade (fair warm) matches my skin tone perfectly. My skin type is rather dry, so I find it best to put on face lotion first so that it's not too dry and flaky. On top of that, whenever I accidentally touch my face throughout the day, I keep thinking how soft it feels! Overall, this is a huge win for me & I will buy this again when it runs out!

I got this bc it was on sale and highly rated but was pretty sure it would be super meh. I loved the old it cosmetics full coverage powder but when they took out the spf the formula just isn't great but this ulta one is even better coverage and application than the old it cosmetics one. I wish it had spf but 10/10 in every other way.

I'm new to foundation and powder but I love this product! I used it over my IL MAKIAGE foundation and was pleasantly surprised how great the coverage was but applying just a small amount. I never have good luck with foundation or powder, it always clumps in creases or looks flaky and caked on. I didn't really like the liquid foundation alone but this really helped set it.

I'm surprised at how much I liked this. I have very oily skin and this did not separate or spread on my face. I've tried expensive products that have separated and it is not pretty on my face. It actually stayed in place and I had a very nice glow all day. Perfect for work/school. Just need to touch up once. Great value for the price.

This is the first powder foundation I've tried. I saw a comment online that said it's a dupe for a more expensive name brand product. I'm very impressed it goes on easily and provides just enough coverage to look good without looking like foundation. It gives a really natural finish

I have been using this for years and I stock up every time the Ulta line goes on sale! I don't like a heavy/cakey look. I prefer a more light/natural, lightweight look and feel. This says you can apply it wet or dry. I REALLY don't like it when applied wet!! I just use the applicator it comes with and use it dry. I have super oily skin, so I keep an extra one with me for occasional touch ups. I have tried MANY others, but I always end up right back with this product!

I'm not entirely sure what's happening but the color goes on and looks good but then after a bit the color changes and looks orange. The color goes on so differently than what it looks like in the pan. I wish it didn't because it's so smooth but coverage wise, it went on patchy for me.

I don't understand why they don't have a fair cool. Most very fair skin tones have a cool/pink undertone, but whatever. It's just another powder. Nothing to write home about.

I have used this for many many years, I used to use it in the color Medium before they changed the names of the colors and it is now called Light Cool. Which actually surprised me as I always am more of a warm, slightly yellowish undertone color. I think they may have changed the names because they added more colors/undertones? I still use Light Cool in the winter, but have also have it in Fair to Light Warm and that is a great match too, especially in the summer. It looks ever so slightly like it will be too orangey for me, but it works well when I have any kind of tan on my face. So I use both colors depending on the season. I have always preferred powder foundations as I have dry skin and rubbing on a liquid foundation always seems to make my skin look flaky and cakey in spots. I love that this adjustable coverage foundation is in a compact, powder form. I have never used it wet, always dry. It is a creamy formula, not just a dry power. It blends well into my skin, instead of sitting on top of it and looking cakey. I use it with the included applicator sponge, however more recently I have tried using it with a foundation brush and it goes on well with that too. It gives good medium coverage in my opinion, and is great for covering up blemishes and skin redness. I have tried many different brands of powder foundation, including prestige brands, and I always go back to this one as my daily go-to because it blends so well and lasts all day.
