How To Use

A great go-to for many yearsI first used Crest Whitestrips in high school many years ago because I had discoloration from wearing braces and wanted to try to even that out. (Not sure if that would really be advised by a dentist, but it worked for me at least.) I'm 30 and drink coffee almost every day (and have done so since high school) and Crest strips have always been what I use to brighten up my teeth. Since the more advanced strips have come out, I started using those. These 3D strips are my favorite since they're effective and the price is somewhere in the middle of all the options. Unless you have strong, thick enamel and your teeth aren't too badly stained, I can't say to expect blindingly white results. But if your teeth are in the average condition as far as enamel and stains, the results you'll most likely get are nice, naturally white teeth. Definitely brighter. And since I'm not going for social media model type of teeth, these work great for me. Also, yes you may experience tooth sensitivity. In that case use them every other day and work up to every day, or buy a toothpaste for sensitive teeth. For me the sensitivity only lasts for a little while afterwards but I only feel it while eating or drinking. I also should mention they grip to teeth very well. Much better than when they first hit the market.Good idea, but expensive and ineffective for meMy dentist gave me a trial pack of these strips since I've been experiencing excruciating sensitivity in my upper bicuspids on both sides. This sensitivity is mainly with sugars and sticky or gummy textures, but also with temperature. I've had this problem for about 10 years and have altered my diet, had dentists change my toothbrushes, toothpastes, had me try different mouthwashes, and they've even refilled cavities in case that was the issue. But nothing worked. Not even these strips, but I think I might know a huge part of why that is. The strips are not versatile. I followed the instructions and made sure the strips were touching my gums, but my sensitivity isn't on the outside of my tooth, it's on the bottom (in the crevice) and between the two bicuspids. When certain foods get stuck in either of those places, I am in horrible, tear-inducing pain until I can remove it. I did not have any relief at all after using these strips because I can't position them where the sensitivity is. I even left the strips on for more than twice the amount of time called for. I would be ecstatic if these were altered or if another variety for different areas of the teeth were introduced (especially for between teeth!). Even just being able to floss with the gel would probably help. Even if these did work, the price would deter me from using them again anyway. I would need to spend between $36 and $72 on a regular basis (at least monthly, according to Crest) to get enough strips for one treatment. I am nowhere near being able to afford that. I might be willing to give these another try if changes to the above problems were made. As it is now, though, no dice. Overall, I am very glad to see some people are getting relief from these strips, but I'm extremely disheartened that I'm not one of them. The shape of the strips make it impossible to put them anywhere either than the outer or inner part of the teeth. If your sensitivity is anywhere else or generally in an awkward place, you're chopped liver. I've been dealing with excruciating sensitivity since I was 14 years old, and my experience with products such has this have made me start to accept that I'm going to have to deal with this pain for the rest of my life.

These are super easy and don't hurt my sensitive teeth. I usually can't use whitening strips because of how sensitive I am, but these don't cause me any problems.
