The e.l.f. Cosmetics 19 Piece Brush Set is a versatile, 19-piece collection of professional makeup brushes in a protective roll travel case.
I have purchased all of these brushes individually in the past and I figure a pro and con format is easiest for interpreting a review of a product. I was only able to photograph a few of the brushes since some are back at home. Pros: -Easy to use -Very soft -Has never Shed (i have used the same brushes for over a year) -With property and regular cleaning they stay soft and in great condition -Very portable in the carrying case provided -Very durable Cons: -The black handle makes finger prints and make up very visible -I have had only one break but I believe it was because of improper storage while traveling. I was easily able to repair it with glue and it hasn't broken off since -Not a huge fan of the "bent" eyeliner brush, its a little difficult to be super precise for something like a Cat eye look Summary: I began using elf products years ago and I fell in love with their studio brushes. I replaced my high end bare minerals brushes and Victoria secrets make up brushes with these and i am so happy I did. The Victoria secrets holiday make up brush gift set fell apart when i cleaned them and while the Bare Mineral brushes were soft when i got them after there 2nd cleaning they began to get very scratchy and rough. I use these brushes daily: -Eye shadow "C" brush - To apply eye shadow -Crease Brush - To Blend eye shadow -Fan brush - To apply highlighter and whisk away eye shadow fall out -Powder Brush (flat top) - To apply liquid foundation or setting powder -Selfie Ready Powder Brush - To blend out blush and bronzer -Blush Brush - To apply Blush Final Notes: After adding all of this up you save upwards of 15+ dollars by buying the kit while also getting the carrying case free. I would recommend this to anyone who either wants a full professional brush kit or wants to give a gift to a make-up lover. Also its great to know they're cruelty free. Suggestions: I would also purchase their Angled Blush Brush and use it for contouring. I find if you use its side you can get a very precise and blended contour that looks natural. I bought these and have had them less than a month but I don't wear makeup on a daily, three of my brushes completely split and the metal piece connecting the brush hairs to the handle came off on most... I'm upset due to the fact I spent 50 on this and they didn't even last long. This should be worth only 30 at the most, definitely not worthy. Don't even bother.

Beautiful brushes. Some a little too thick that it's stiff but they're great quality! The complaints I'd have is, IT SMELLED HORRIBLE WHEN I TOOK IT OUT. Strong chemical scent...

I love e.l.f. cosmetics brushes and I was so excited when this set came back in stock. The brushes are lightweight and the bristles are very soft. They blend nicely and evenly, are easy to use for beginners, and gentle on skin. Unfortunately, the set I received was missing the buffing foundation brush and gave me two powder blurring brushes instead. For an order that took over a week to process, it was a bit of a let down for the price. I will probably stick to buying individual brushes from now on.

I purchased these brushes in 2018 and it's now almost 2023 and my brushes are still going strong. I'm contemplating buying another set since I've had my first set for so long. I highly recommend this set to anyone who is starting their makeup journey and need brushes for an affordable price. These brushes don't shed at all, they are not flimsy and they are comparable to the higher end products. Thank you elf for creating a consistent and affordable line!

I really like this assortment. I have been using ELF foundation brushes for several years and they always wash up perfectly so I treated myself to this set to try others out. One brush is called "pointed eye pencil" but is rather fluffy, so I'm not sure how this one works.
