I originally bought this hair dryer for after my showers at my local gym, which is somewhat a need during the winter season. I agree with other reviewers, this product did not disappoint. I found that it really was a lightweight, fast drying blower. So far, I have been using the Alterna Bamboo Silk Sleek Brilliance Cream, which I also purchased from Ulta to somewhat help protect my hair from the heat and power. I'm not too bothered that there are only two options of blast - low and high. However, when trying to turn it off, it takes me several tries to actually switch it so. The switch goes from "low - off - high". And the button isn't big enough to easily switch it off from the setting you are already in. I feel like it would've been better to have the arrangement of the blast to go "off - low - high". But, overall, it's a good product. Definitely gets the job done. And my hair turns out great and volumized before I leave the gym. I'd also like to add that it very compact and folds enough to be able to fit in the big pockets of my gym bag. I do wish it came with a pouch or something for actual travel, but that's not much of a "con" when I can simply buy a pouch at a local shopping mall. The only thing that did bother me at first though was the super loud and almost piercing sound the dryer produces (which is probably emphasized in the gym locker room) when put on "high". A small plus, it comes with a cover for the metal portion of the plug to keep it protected when stored for travel.
I have had two of these. The first one worked GREAT and I LOVED it for just over a year then one day it stopped blowing hot air on any setting. So I figured I paid[$] for this so just go get a new one. I have had my new one now for about 2 months and this morning to my surprise it is just blowing COLD air??? I unplugged it and plugged it back in, checked the settings and still just cold air. This time I am going to look at the 1 year warranty it comes with as an option of replacing it. I love everything about it BUT it needs to be dependable.

I've used this blow dryer no more than 20 times over the past few months. The other day I went to use it and blows cold air. I tried pressing the cold air button, taking the rubber piece covering it off, testing and resetting it, making sure nothing was caught inside, left it alone for a while, and still cold air. Believe the other reviews. I thought I'd take the chance as I take good care of products and knew I'd barely use it, but it's nothing more than a very temporary item.

The heat coming from this hair dryer isn't hot enough. I use a hair dryer primarily to dry my (straight) bangs, and use a roller brush to control the curl. The heat that comes out of it is luke warm at best, and leaves my bangs ending up looking feathered and at odd angles because the air drying them wasn't hot enough.

This compact hairdryer travels well & fits in your hand easily. BUT, it's very noisy and the settings button is difficult to move with one hand. The saying "you get what you pay for" is correct. For years I had the Drybar buttercup hairdryer. In order to save money when my Drybar stopped working after 8-12 years, I purchased the Revlon compact. Needless to say it wasn't a good idea to save money on a hairdryer.

I wanted a compact hairdryer that had power when needed. It's not too big to handle and does the job.

Nope, nope, and nope. This thing is loud. The nozzle kept falling off. Just was a mess. Very cheaply made. Waste of time and money. Immediately returned and got a Chi.

This item is not for me, but after purchasing I realized that it was 10 dollars cheaper elsewhere. I got it because it is dual voltage

I bought this for a trip last February because hotel blow dryers are never powerful enough to dry my hair. I liked that it was 1875W, yet small and lightweight for packing in my luggage. For such a small appliance it is VERY loud. Much louder than any full-size blow dryer I've ever had. The concentrator attachment doesn't stay in one position, it rotates, so it doesn't really "concentrate" at all. I am a "weakling" and my arm gets tired using a full-size blow dryer, so I have been using this one as my every-day drying and not just for travel because it gets really hot and dries my hair quickly... until today. I've only been using it for 11 months, and today it stopped getting hot, just blows cold air. As they say... you get what you pay for.

This is a pretty powerful little dryer. Not real crazy about the switch. Would prefer off be either one top or bottom instead of the middle. The diffuser attachment doesn't fit really well. It needs a little extra lip to hold it on more securely. It snaps on but the stay isn't very strong.

I love the light weight of this dryer. I have arthritis in my hands, wrists and shoulders so drying my hair can be difficult. The power of this dryer saves me time, and the weight saves me some pain. It's a win, win.

Dries quickly and is small enough for travel

The low speed has a very low temperature and was very slow drying my hair. I have thin, fine hair. The high speed is much too powerful and made it impossible to style. I will be returning it.

We love this little hair dryer, it's used every day. We travel a lot, it always goes with us. This is the third one we have purchased. It typically last about four years, with daily use. Folds up neatly, could use a storage bag.

the power button was tough to use- all the time.

I like this hairdryer, it's so much better than my old previous one. I use the low mode so I don't burn my hair and it does the job in good timé without me getting tired of holding the hairdryer in my grands. When firts use it smelled like burn, so I got worried but then it fade away.

This blow dryer is fast and gets the job done. The folding handle makes it useful for on-the-go girls.

The best travel hairdryer I have ever used. The force of the blower is equal to my $200 regular hairdryer.

I love how compact this hair dryer is and how great it works-plus it is quiet!!

I have owned several of these dryers and I finally give up. While I love the way the product dries my hair quickly and without causing frizz, I am tired of replacing it after less than a year when it suddenly stops working.

The travel size is just right. Very attractive little dryer.

While this hair dryer dries your hair, it is difficult to turn the switch to the middle "off". I often unplug it on because it doesn't click to the different positions, it rolls. This is also the loudest hair dryer I have ever used. The attachment also falls off if you slightly hit it against anything.

I needed it for on the road trip and it packs up great
Rebecca P. from Arizona
For reference my regular hair dryer is a Rusk Weightless so I'm used to a quieter than average hair dryer.
Bought this Revlon travel hairdryer for travel based on the review. The hair dryer works great! My hair is noticeably less frizzy and dries in no time. (I have fine hair) the dryer folds up super small and the concentrator attachment is great. BUT the dryer is super loud. and the cool shot button takes a lot of effort to hold down. Something to consider if you have arthritis and need that cool shot button. I don't have arthritis but I found it difficult to hold down. On the plus side the dryer is super lightweight so it won't add excess bulk to your luggage. It'll be great for trips but I'll keep my other dryer for daily use. Glad I bought it!
