The metallic shades are very smooth and have a cream like texture to them that really intensifies how they look on the eyes but also makes them easy to apply. The mattes are not too powdery or too dry and they're very buildable. This type of color story is really flattering for any eye color I think and any occasion. I've been wearing this a lot to work lately and I just love how every look turns out. this is my first time using an LA girl eyeshadow palette and I'm just really impressed with a formula. But for me the mattes are trash. They aren't pigmented, and the worse part is thay when you pack them on, yes you get some pigment, but when you start to blend they just dust away.
