Great formula!The Burt's Bees All Aglow Bronzer & Highlighter Stick comes in really nice packaging and has a cool protective cap under the actual cap itself, which I've never seen on other makeup items. The formula is creamy and applies really smoothly. There is no real scent, only a natural scent to the product. There is an inner core within the highlighter so that your skin stays hydrated and soft without needing additional products layered on the face. The Opal Mist shade is a little too icy toned for my skin color but it blends in really nicely and looks good with flash. I hope they come out with additional colors!Beautiful highlighter, ineffective bronzerMost of my makeup at this point is Burt's Bees, which I love for the focus on natural but effective products (which can be difficult to find). I love the products that I have purchased up until now. Unfortunately, this bronzing stick was very ineffective when trying to wear it over the BB liquid foundation. It immediately stripped off almost all of the foundation under it and did not provide any color payoff in its place. I am very fair, so it is definitely easy for even lightly tinted bronzers to be too much on my skin. However, this product did not show up at all. I did try to use a blending brush with it, running the brush only along the outside of the stick and using a patting motion instead of a sweeping motion after using just the stick. This proved to be every so slightly more effective, but still nowhere what I would hope for out of a bronzing stick. Maybe these would work better if you are someone who doesn't wear any foundation at all. I also ordered the Opal Mist shade for a highlighter and that actually worked quite well, especially when I used a dabbing motion instead of rubbing the stick across the areas I was looking to highlight. The color is very nice and natural looking and it doesn't feel super heavy. I was definitely careful to apply it gently though, as it seemed like it would pull up foundation as well. Would really love to see BB make a powder version of the bronzer (and a highlighter option would be nice, too). I guess for now I will just be ordering a dark shade of the powder foundation and hoping that works better than the stick!

Go for the darker, bronze color.

A friend of mine gave me a tube of this years ago and I LOVED it. I used it nearly every day on my eyelids and cheekbones. When it ran out I accidentally bought the Golden Shimmer instead of the Bronze color and it is perhaps the most useless product I've ever bought lol. I'm very fair skinned, and it still does not show up on me. Still giving 4 stars because the bronze color is legit one of the best makeup products I've ever bought--it would be a solid 5 stars--but ~Golden Shimmer~ is literally nothing but perhaps the essence of shimmer.

I'm so glad I found this highlighter! I love the glossier haloscope but it's a bit too pricey for me to buy consistently. I thought this product was very similar. It's for people who want a natural, dewy highlighter.

Nice glow

I really like this glow stick because it adds some nice highlights and a bit of a dewy ike appearance to my 60+ year old skin. This is my second purchase of this product. I also use the darker colored glow stick in the summer months. The only improvement I would suggest is to add more natural emollients to make it glide and smooth in better.
