This stuff is the truth! I have tried many, many brands of coconut oil, but this one trumps them all! It melts instantly in your hands once you run them together and doesn't have those little white hard pieces (if you've ever experienced it). My only gripe is that it's a bit hard for me to find in my area once I'm out of it. I highly recommend it! It perfect for both hair and skin. My advice is to use it directly after you bathe to effectively moisturize your skin. This is literally my only moisturizer and my skin is flourishing which I can credit to this coconut oil amongst other habits. Whew! That was a mouthful, but I just want y'all to feel what I'm saying!
I'm pretty sure this coconut oil. It has familiar qualities of coconut oil...solid below 75 degrees, but melts on contact. Even in my mutant icicle hands.
So, while this coconut oil does appear to be coconut oil, it has the familiar scent of Crisco. Smelling like coconuts is sorta my thing. I'm famous for it. Ask anyone. I can not rock with deodorized coconut oil. I'm also baffled as to why this coconut oil is a blend of organic and non-organic coconut oil. What's that all about, SheaMoisture?
With the addition of this barely average, overpriced stinky oil to their product offerings, I just don't trust SheaMoisture anymore. I hung in there after they began using silicones, but I remember when they boasted that their products were 98% natural...they don't say that anymore.
Purchased because it has great reviews but after looking at ingredients its only coconut oil so no wonder it works great, I could have purchased a huge jar of organic coconut oil for much cheaper if i paid attention but didn't notice till i got home, obviously its going to work ive used coconut oil before
I love that it's not scented so it didn't irritate my skin. You get a ton for your money and I love using it all over my body after applying a moisturizer to lock in all the hydration!
This works, smells great and hydrated. But if I'm being honest it literally is the same as other coconut oils, this one just happens to be more expensive.
I love the multi purpose nature of this product. My skin used to dry out during winters and shea helped lock in my moisture. I would recommend when applying to your hair- warming it up a bit before applying and using it to massage your hair. It does wonders !
This coconut oil was pretty darn good for being cosmetic grade. It was very moisturizing and lasted a long time—even though my husband and son overuse!
