Most Helpful Positive Review good! I got a small size to use on my lips. It's basically just petroleum (almost like vaseline in a tube, but slightly thinner) and some supplemental hydrating oils. I really like how it's unscented and has no flavor whatsoever!! It makes your skin feel really nice and soft wherever you put it. It's probably one of my new favorite no-frills lip balms; I definitely prefer it to all other drugstore balms like chapstick and aquaphor so far. If you have sensitive or oily skin, be careful about where you put this because it has the potential to be really comedogenic with all of the oils and petroleum!! I have dry skin and have not noticed any issues yet. I think that for the price, this is a great standard multi-use balm. I'm excited to use it more in the winter.
Most Helpful Critical Review Bummer I have extremely severe eczema on my legs. As in scabbed wounds I've literally had for years because I tear my skin up every night in my sleep, severe. It makes me miserable. So I keep trying assorted goos because something HAS to help. I thought this might. Description sounds like its precisely what I need. Even though it says "balm," when I purchased this I really thought it'd be more an ointment or maybe cream texture. Idk what exactly put that idea in my head. It's the consistency of petroleum jelly which unfortunately aggravates my eczema. But it does at least feel nice on the lips so that saves it from my shelf of failed eczema products. Really disappointing since it specifically says it can help with both eczema and wound healing.

I use this product daily on my dry hands.
Paw Paw soothing balm 1
Sam from Kohler, WI
I used this for my lips after being recommended by a dermatologist but it does not hydrate or keep them hydrated. It feels like the product never fully sinks in and just sits on top.
A mess 1
Mandy from USA
This all-purpose balm is a righteous mess. Incredibly greasy and takes a million years to sink in, then again this is what you get when the formula's first ingredient is castor oil. Shea butter or no, this is just a big no-no for the hands or, well, anywhere on your skin. Least it has no annoying fragrance!
Disappointed 2
Dawn from Phoenix, Az
It didn't smell great and actually left my lips feeling drier shortly after I used it
Thinner than I thought 4
Ashton from CA
The consistency is pretty sheer, not thick or occlusive enough for my liking as a lip balm. I have sensitive and chapped lips and I really like a thick moisturizing barrier for my lips. This is still nice tho since it's fragrance free, and it moisturizes well.

Drying 2

I bought this in hopes that it would be a cheaper alternative to Dr. Lipp's lanolin multi purpose balm.
Overall, I don't like this for lips AT ALL. The first second it's applied, it feels nice (thinner than I expected), but after a few minutes it feels like my lips have shriveled up and dried up.
I tried it on my cuticles, and it's fine for that, but nothing special.
I'm so disappointed by this because the tube is a substantial size and I like that it's fragrance free. I tried the Shea butter one too and have the same issues.
I haven't decided if I'll keep it for my cuticles or not. I most likely will be returning this and purchasing another tube of Dr. Lipp instead. It truly is far superior and worth the extra money.
I will keep this in my purse always! 5

I love this product because of its many uses. I use it on my lips and my cuticles works great on both!
Multipurpose dream 5
Nebraska from Nebraska
Non-greasy balm that heals my lips and hands super fast. I have severe allergic reactions to most hand lotions and this one has caused me zero trouble. Nothing but healing effects for me— getting it for all my friends as Christmas presents. It's a luxury beauty product at a very affordable price.
Multi-Use Product 4
Riz from NE
I am always looking to minimize my products and since this is a multi-use product I love being able to take only it with me when I leave the house. It can be used as a lip balm, cuticle oil, and if you dab it on your cheekbones, a highlight. A great product if you are looking for a travel size multi-use product. Not my favorite lip balm but it works.
Like skincare for your lips 5
Mar007 from Bay Area
It's like an intense moisturizing mask but for your lips. I like to use it before bed and it lasts till the morning! My lips are never dry/chapped thanks to this. It's so soft and rich. I also like to use it on my cuticles. So affordable!!
Didn't even last 30 mins on my lips 3
Tay from United States
The consistency of this stuff is great and I thought it would be a great lip calm, but unfortunately this stuff didn't last 30 minutes on my lips. I would put it on and it felt like it disappeared and actually left my lips dryer than they were before I put this on. I'll use the tube up, maybe on my cuticles or something, but I won't be repurchasing.
Underrated 5
MStr7 from Madison, WI
It's definitely underrated. My lips get really unhappy and dry a lot but this heals them practically overnight. I love using it on my cuticles too. It's not too heavy, really soaks in, and isn't greasy/sticky. I love my Dr. Pawpaw.
Worked on my dry lips 5
Jwake from Fort Smith, AR
This was an impulse buy, and I am so glad I picked it up! I have really dry lips and am constantly licking them. I put a generous layer of this before I go to bed, and it has really improved the appearance of my lips. They are less wrinkled and dry, and the feeling lasts nearly all day.

Love the product BUT 3
emm from USA
My tube was almost empty from the start. When I pulled it out of the box I thought there was nothing in it. Love the lip balm itself, but I'm wary of buying it again if I'm only going to receive 1/4 of the amount stated :/
Miracle for dryness, not so much for sensitivity 5
El from USA
I have incredibly chapped, sensitive lips. If I don't use thick lip treatments on a daily basis, they get cracked and peel, and I pick at them until they bleed. Let me say: wow! This was incredibly moisturizing. I've tried many lip balms and this did a great job by comparison.
However, I often feel discomfort from how sensitive my lips are. This didn't really help with that. I didn't notice any "soothing". In fact, I didn't realize how much my Aquaphor had been helping with the sensitivity until I switched to this.
It did actually help around my incredibly sensitive/dry nose area, until I suddenly had a painful pimple the next day. Don't use this around your nose or areas with large pores, if you're acne prone like me - that's mainly my mistake.
To be honest, this isn't quite what I'm looking for (a natural Aquaphor alternative), but if I didn't have such sensitive skin it would be very nearly perfect, hence the 5 stars.
Amazing!! 5

i love how you can use this not only for your lips but also for cuticles and your hair! my lips have been dry and cracked lately and this kept them moisturized for the whole day. i will definitely be repurchasing especially because of how cheap it is

Really helps dry lips. You have to be consistent with application.
Not for me 3
Snickerdoodle from North
After about 1 week of use on my lips, I got cystic acne around my lips (not cute) and then I had an eczema flare up. So if you're prone to cystic acne, maybe not for you but it is hydrating and makes lips look really healthy. My lips are also very sensitive and will peel with most lip products but did not with this one.
You need to get this 5
Laura from New York
I got a tube of this for me and one for my mom. We both really like it. My mom's allergic to fragrance and has no problems with this product. She also has very dry skin and finds that it works well to heal it. I've been using it mostly on my lips and hands, and it works really well if you use it often. I think it's definitely worth the price, and I will be buying many more tubes of this. I really can't recommend this product enough.
Dried out my lips 2
Pumpkin from Georgia
This balm was nice on my lips for about 30 minutes, but then left me with dry lips. I'm going to try it on my cuticles and hope for the best. Won't repurchase.
Awesome product! 5
Hiya :) from Dubuque, IA
I found this product while I was working in a warehouse this winter, and it was a godsend! My hands were dry and cracking, and this was something that didn't hurt me to use (unlike a lot of lotions). It feels like it sinks in immediately, but there is still a barrier on the skin that really protected my sad hands. (Start off with a little bit, at first, if you want it to sink in faster!) I would definitely recommend this :)
This is a great product to use for whatever 5
luvbug24 from Warren, MI
I love that this is multi use. I't great for lips, dry skin, cuts, whatever.
Loving this 5
Rose from Anaheim
This product saved my cracked & painful cuticles in less than 2 days. My cuticles were cracking and I tried everything I had! Purchased this kept applying small amounts throughout the day and a generous amount at bedtime and within 2 days the cracks were gone!!! Love this definitely recommending it to everyone I know regardless if they ask or not that's how much I love it!!!!
