Most Helpful Positive Review Great Conditioner!!!
I have been using this product on my hair for about a year. I am African American and I wear my hair in its natural state. It's great for moisture. The blue dye is not bothersome. The smell isn't even intense. I hate hate hate when people leave bad reviews on great products for some of the tiniest characteristics of the product.
It's just not that serious. Hairspray has more of a smell than this conditioner.
I tried this conditioner based on a you tuber recommendations, and I am glad I did. It has amped the level of moisture in my hair, and let me tell you my hair was dryyyyyyy.
What works for me may not work for others and vices versa, but I most definitely recommend this conditioner.
Most Helpful Critical Review Company changed ingredients!!!
This used to be a great product until the company made it super runny and thin. Company said it was due to temperature changes but I bought another and it was the same runny consistency. Would never buy again all these companies keep selling out to drug stores and making their product cheaper making it lower quality.

Paul Mitchell The Conditioner is amazing and I will probably not be trying any other leave in conditioners after this. It has a strange creamy gel texture and smells like Irish Spring bar soap, but it's given me better hair than anything else. I apply to damp hair after I shower. I like how it gives me smoother, bouncy hair that isn't weighed down with heavy oils and isn't sticky. I have fine, wavy hair for reference. I have been using The Conditioner for a couple weeks now and I can already see my hair's health improving. The price is really reasonable for a salon quality product.
I'm shocked by the bad reviews from people who didn't read the description and are using it wrong.
I have been buying this product for about 35 years.

Pump a little in your hand, rub your hands together, rub your hands on your head and run your fingers through the hair.
Paul Mitchell products are the Best

I love Paul Mitchell products 99% of the products I use for my hair are Paul Mitchell. It always has such a clean fresh smell.
A BIG NO
Beautylovenature from Arkansas
I never tried this and just sent it back because I really didn't like the fragrance and the website did not have it clearly labeled as a leave-in conditioner which I did not want. Smells like public restroom hand soap. Might be a good detangler if you like the fragrance but this is just not for me.
I always buy this product for my thick hair and it works.
Cory from Bakersfield, CA
I use the conditioner and it works with my thick hair and I can get a comb through it before I blow dry and style my hair. Keeps my hair healthy.
Great for curls! Nothing better in 20 years

I have used this for years!

I have fine, thin hair and have to wash it every day because it gets oily. This conditioner adds volumne and does not weigh hair down. I have used it for many years ... tried many others, but always got back to The Condition.

Silky soft hair!
Everyday Consumer from Sandusky, OH
I would first like to say that I think it is important to mention that THIS IS A LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER!!! If you are anything like me...you do not really read the "How To Use" section, so it went over my head that this was a leave-in product. However, this did not alter my satisfaction with the product AT ALL! My hair has never felt so silky soft. It also does not make my head feel heavy or overwhelmed with any product.

Used to be great, now smells awful

I have used this for years and loved it, but I was shocked at the awful chemical smell. So disappointed.
Emma Rose from Springfield, MO
Use a tiny bit. If you use even a dime sized amount it feels like you've left conditioner in your hair after a shower. I was looking for more of a light-weight leave-in conditioner, and this may not be it but I need to keep testing it.
It's worth it...
CurlS from Portland,Or
I put it in clean washed hair after it naturally dries. I add it throughout my hair, use wide tooth comb and finger style it making sure I get enough in back where I have more dryness. GREAT IF:you have curly hair that you don't want weighed down by greasy or overly heavy leave ins ..this is the one.
Like it but...

I love this conditioner. However I have extremely thick hair so you'll need to apply a lot.
Still using after 10 years

I have short hair, fairly normal texture but thick. I just put a small amount of this on my hair each morning work it into my hair, then just brush and style it. It adds body to my hair and helps to just put it into place. I let my hair dry naturally and don't use any spray on it and it holds for the full day. I have never noticed a smell like many have commented, but I'm not sensitive to smells so it could smell, I've just never noticed it. I buy it every time it goes on sale because it is a must in my every day. Otherwise my hair is flat and because it is thick, it is awful.
Been using this product over 20 years.

I use this product for conditioning and styling my hair. I now have my husband using and loving this product. We use the Awahpuhi Shampo as well.

Usually, when I read reviews about a product smelling bad I'm confused because I actually like the smell. However, this truly smells disgusting. I actually couldn't even use it once - that's how bad it is. Sounds like it's been reformulated.
Waste of money
Daisy from Marina, CA
I decided to splurge on this a year ago with the Awapuhi Shampoo and was excited to try it. It was just not good in any aspect. I honestly cannot come up with any pros. It doesn't smell like anything, it's so light that I end up using so many pumps because it's unspreadable of how light it is. I didn't see any improvements on my hair compared to using generic brands. I wanted to switch up and spend a little more on something that could help my hair in the long run but it truly had no benefits. I use the Matrix brand now and my hair is so much more alive and it's inexpensive.
Very good product.
Nana from California
This is a good product. Keeps hair conditioned. Use a small amount each time hair is washed.
