I like this powder a lot. It is a little messy when you dip your brush in but I don't mind. A little goes a long way and looks beautiful but it CAN be cakey if you use too much. Just be careful!

This is the perfect combination of quality and price. Really helps take my oily skin down to matte without taking away the glow of my highlighter. Does need a touch up part way through the day. I've been very pleased with most Soap and Glory products.

Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot:

I had been using a couple different powders (high end and drug store) and they just weren't keeping my face matte and shine/oil under control. I bought this because I thought the compact would make it easy to carry with me and reapply throughout the day to control shine, but I find that I don't even need a touch up. My face is still matte at the end of a 10 hour work day. One thing I will note is that the color is a little bit white. I am very pale so I put it on first, then use my regular powder and blush so it blends in and looks natural. If you have darker skin or want to put this on as the last step of your makeup, it might look very white.

Yes, you may use highlighter on top of Soap & Glory's One Heck of a Blot Powder. The intensity of how much your highlighter will show would be based upon whether your highlighter is liquid or powder, and/or whether it is matte or shimmer.
