Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation:

This is by far the worst foundation I have ever used. I really wanted to like it but it's just terrible. I have combination oily/normal skin and was really hoping this would help with the oils but it just dries up extremely fast and breaks up in the more oily areas. I tried everything to try and make it work moisturizer, primer, exfoliating first, mixing it with beauty oil and nothing worked. I really had high hopes for this one since every other product I've ever tried from Soap and Glory has been excellent I am in love with the primer to this product (The One Heck of A Blot Mattifying Primer) it's an amazing primer and the setting powders are pretty good too but this foundation was just the worst product I've ever tried.

Cons

  • Limited colors

Best Uses

Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation:

I love this foundation. I'm assuming those who say it's dry and cakey are not applying a primer or moisturizer before and not using a damp makeup sponge to apply, which is needed for best results. For the price I love it. I just wish it came in darker colors because the darkest, caramel, is my winter color. In the summer I turn very dark!!

Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation:

I ordered this online and ordered the "Cool Sand" it was way too light for me and I'm a fair skin gal. It did go on easy, liquid and dried to a powder foundation. Which I loved! I had to put some of my regular foundation over it, to make it darker, so I didn't look so pale. It didn't settle into my lines. I would love to order the next shade but I'm afraid it would be too dark, as there aren't but 4 colors. I think it would be a great foundation for mature skin, if you can find your shade.

Dry and cakey

By Jacqueline

About Me Budget Buyer

Pros

  • Matte Finish

Cons

  • Difficult To Apply

Best Uses

  • Acne-Prone or Oily Skin

Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation:

This foundation makes you look dry and cakey. When you first put it on its looks beautiful, but after a couple minutes of it setting it looks super cakey. I really ages my skin as well. In addition, by hour 5 my oils broke through and the makeup broke appart unlike any makeup I've ever seen.

Overall for the price I expect it to preform better.

Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation:

. This foundation dries so fast, it looks cakey and chalky, and i had the lightest shade and it made me look super orange within 3 minutes of having it on. I have red blotchy skin and it did not cover any of my redness. It was super hard to even put on, i tried with a brush first, and then a beauty blender. Worst foundation I have ever tried.

Comments about Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation:

I have tried a lot of foundations, but this was by far the worst one I have ever used. I had tried this once before and I was not a fan of it at all, but recently I also tried it on a friend and it was a horror show. It dried within seconds, blended terribly, and creased so bad that I could not even stand to wear it. It seperated extremely bad on my forehead and nose and was so patchy on my cheeks that you could even see the blotches in pictures. I never write reviews on anything, but I thought this one deserved the honest truth.

I love this foundation! I was worried over reviews talking about how quickly it dries, but it doesn't dry THAT fast! I have plenty of time to blot it over my face, then blend it with my fingers, then it looks great. I wear the lightest color they make, and it fits me perfectly. I will use this again and again. I've used it every day for 3 weeks, and it looks great on all day. No breakouts. Doesn't get shiny, looks matte.

The Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation color that may suit you best is Fair Enough, if your skin has a warmer/yellow under tone.

Do you have plans to expand your foundation color range in the near future? While I'm interested in trying trying your product the shade "Fair Enough" is still too dark for me by a good bit (and I'm a neutral rather than cool), and I'm certain you have customers for whom your current range is much too light as well...
