Most Helpful Positive Review Great, lightweight moisture I have very oily skin and I use this as a daytime moisturizer with SPF on top, and it works great for me. It has a lovely scent that's hard to describe, but it's not overpowering (probably the birch sap that's in this product). It doesn't feel heavy or greasy at all, either--it absorbs into the skin quite nicely. If you have really dry skin or your skin tends to get dry during certain months of the year, this might not be enough for you. Otherwise, I really have nothing bad to say about this product; I highly recommend this to anyone with a skin type similar to mine.

I began breaking into the skincare industry, I didn't think my skincare routine would turn into a complete nightmare after using this moisturizer for around 6 months. After using my Good Morning cleanser from the same brand, putting this moisturizer on would make my skin shiny and greasy, something I didn't expect from a moisturizer. What's worse is that throughout the hot and humid Houston day, my skin would often get oily, whether I was inside most of the time, or outside (which made the oiliness worsen). After researching a little more, I decided to invest in a different moisturizer, which didn't give me any reactions. Although giving it two stars may seem extreme, this product did not do me wonders.

I have been using my at home time to do a more elaborate,daily skin care routine. I use a toner (Pixi),a serum (Peach&Lily) with some Vit C powder (The Ordinary) mixed in,and the moisturizer riser I had was just TOO much after this...I could feel it on my skin,which drove me crazy. More than once I washed my face midday to get rid of the feeling. I ordered this because of the gel formula,and the oil free factor to matte down the serum.
VERY happy with this. Lovely,lightweight,with a matte finish. Might serve as a good primer,but haven't tried that yet. It plays well with my other products and kicked my skin up a notch!
Not expensive at all for the amount you get.

I use this when I get out of the shower. The hydration is out of this world, it lasts all day. I have noticed significant improvement in my skin since using this moisturizer. I break out hardly ever and my skin is never dry or too oily. I even have my 15 year old son using this as well!

I'm seriously obsessed with this product! I have very dry, acne prone skin and this stuff does it for me! It has made washing my face one of my favorite parts of the day! A total game changer! I like that it isn't a super thick moisturizer but it does the job of a thick moisturizer! I will forever be a fan!

I've been using this lotion for the last 3 ish years. I have combination skin that break outs out easily, but this lotion has been so gentle on my skin. It's light and absorbs pretty easily. It doesn't leave a greasyness behind. However, it probably isn't the most moisturizing lotion out there. It also has a bit of a tea tree oil scent to it, so if you don't like that this won't be for you.

Decided to try this after using & falling in love with COSRX's good morning cleanser.
I have slightly sensitive oily to combination skin & this does it for me! My boyfriend, who has very oily skin, also uses this daily. We use a combination of COSRX's products (hylauronic essence, AHA/BHA toner) & our oil production is @ an all time low, for both of us.
On the second tube & still loving it! :o)

I enjoy using this, although I don't use it everyday. I like the tea tree smell it calms my skin, and I've see improvement in my skin texture/pore clogging.

I originally got the sample/travel size set of this and I went out two days later to purchase the full size for this product. I love the smell and I love the way it makes my skin feel. It's a very light moisturizer so I actually use it as an emulsion. It's the last step in my morning routine (not counting sun cream), and the step before my thicker moisturizer in my night routine. This is another win in my book from COSRX, I might change around my moisturizer but I definitely think this is my keeper for my emulsion. I have oily, acne-prone and sensitive skin and this has worked great for me. I didn't have a skin purge with it either which is always a plus!

I used to buy this for myself when my skin was very oily during the summer in my teens. Nowadays, I need something heavier, but will still use this as long as I layer another moisturizer on top. My boyfriend loves this stuff for his oily skin. It's great because of how fast it sinks in! Very soothing and never irritating.

Noticed my skin getting warm and a bit dry the days after using the product! Although it has birch sap (which contains niacinamide, one of my favorite non irritating ingredients) it still stung my face! Nothing mayor but just mildly uncomfortable!

Stumbled upon this when I was on a search for a new moisturizer around a month to two months ago. The moisturizer I had been using just wasn't cutting it, i was struggling with quite a bit of sensitivity and my skin just wasn't as great as it has been(I typically have normal skin and some sensitivity ). So after a small patch test and wondering around the store for maybe twenty minutes with no reaction and part of my skin feeling like velvet, I went ahead and made the purchase. It's definitely different from your typical "lotion" moisturizer, I'd say it's more gel-like. After application skin does feel a little sticky for maybe a minute or two but once it's absorb fully it feels like a dream(pat your skin gently for it to absorb better), my skin stays hydrated through out the day and looks a bit brighter, under my eyes which had been a problem area for me since which feels like the begginning of time have never looked better.
The scent is nice and not too strong, a light lemon smell. And a little goes a long way, I've used maybe a little over a quarter of it since I bought it..
Be careful of applying too much (I do around 3-3.5 pumps), I mean your skin can only absorb so much after all. Haven't really tried it with make-up on but I don't think it'll be a problem if you let it absorb fully before applying any.

I have used this product for over a week and my skin looks amazing. My skin glows and it looks amazing. I have very oily and sensitive skin and this stuff is like gold.My make up stays on all day with using this moisturizer. I dont need to blot my skin or do any touch ups during the day my make up looks fresh and I dont look like I have an oil slick on my face. The price is amazing as well. I will never be without this product....you need to try it you wont be disappointed...

I really like how lightweight but hydrating this is. My skin type is oily, but often gets dehydrated (not to be confused with dry.) I like that this has hyaluronic acid to get my skin moisturized without clogging pores. I see many reviewers saying it's not truly oil free, but the oils included are tea tree and lemon, which are essential oils rather than something greasy like coconut oil or olive oil. Tea tree is likely included since it's antibacterial/antimicrobial, and lemon can help lighten acne scars, and I personally like their inclusion, but I know some people can be sensitive to them, so patch test first if possible. Overall, I find it to be a good gel-cream for acne-prone, oily skin and worth a try.

there are essential oils in this which are NOT good for your skin. they often cause irritation and burning. just because it's natural doesn't mean it's good. I have oily skin and I felt like it wasn't truly a "lotion" it's basically a gel moisturizer that made my face burn.

This moisturizer made my skin look dull and caused me to breakout. After I stopped using this, someone I work with actually asked what I changed in my skincare because my skin was looking so much healthier and glowy. All I did was take this moisturizer out and go back to my normal one. This just didnt work for me, but I love every other Cosrx product I have ever tried! This one was just a pass.

I have very sensitive and oily skin, so there are a lot of products that cause breakouts for me. I have been using this for about a month and I love it. I haven't had any breakouts cause by it. I have found that patting it into your skin helps to absorb more quickly, just like the directions say. I think people with oily/combo skin would love this. People with more sensitive skin may want to go in store and check out their testers first.
