Comments about Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash:

I bought this because I was looking for a face wash with salicylic acid. I didn't read the reviews until I got home but still gave it the benefit of the doubt. After the 4th use my skin became very dry, itchy, and flaky. Don't waste your money.

      My go to!

Comments about Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash:

I've had acne for as long as I can remember and when I finally decided to use this product I was amazed. It has been the best choice. I've tried everything, I mean everything, and this works! It is very drying like the other reviews said but that is what my skin needed. I always follow with moisturizer after. I will never use anything else!

Comments about Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash:

I used this face wash for AGES wondering why my skin felt so dry when I got out of the shower and then got super oily and flaky just hours later. I stopped using this product and switched to a gentler cleanser, and my skin was so much less irritated and dehydrated. Often times your skin will overreact to a drying cleanser by overproducing oil. I give it two stars instead of one because it didn't actively break me out.

Comments about Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash:

This is absolutely the worst face wash i have ever used. I tried this in hopes to clear up my problem areas on my cheeks, and it did the EXACT opposite. Three times after using it, i got a RED RING round my face where i placed it. This product dried my face out so much that I am literally flaking, cant put any product on my skin without it BURNING and it made my acne worse. I got little white bumps everywhere. Feeling my face makes feels like bumpy dry road. I NEVER had sensitive skin until i started using this. DO NOT USE. This is so terrible i have to go to a dermatologist, nothing over the counter will fix how messed up this made my face. This should not be allowed to sell. Tried to post this on neutrogina website and they wont accept it!!!!

I only used this face wash for about 4 days and my face became extremely dry and flaky. It is winter and I live in Wisconsin, so my face dries out a little bit easier at this time, so this may work for other skin types and/or climates, but did not suit my skin well!

                    Removes rust stains!

Comments about Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash:

well it definitely dried my skin out but thats not the worst thing about this product. Some of it spilled out onto the bottom of my bathtub (which has bad rust stains due to well water.) and when I wiped it up the rust that was on that spot was completely gone! I never am going to put that on my face again! If this stuff can eat rust imagine what it is doing to your skin! You might aswell wash your face with CLR. On the plus side it really does wonders with the rust stains.
