Most Helpful Positive Review Wanted to love it I am adamant about applying sunscreen liberally every time I expect to go outside, so I was excited to try this product out since I had heard a lot of good things. I bought this sunscreen sometime last year and I've stopped using it.
Unfortunately for me, it wasn't a good match. I'm not sure if it's because I'm currently using a retinol product, but it started to burn my face with continued use.
Im still giving it 4 stars because there's no white cast to this sunscreen and no fragrance, and my skin was fine some times using it. My roommate used this product and it works fine for him. No burning sensation and applies nicely. I ended up giving it to him.
Im just too sensitive for this sunscreen. It also burns when it gets into the eyes, so be aware if you're off to the gym and avoid applying too close to the eyes.

Even when I don't put it near my eyes it finds a way to irritate them. Most often then not it's fine after application until I start putting make up on and then my eyes start watering uncontrollably and ruins any plans I had of wearing eye makeup. I keep trying to make it work and it just doesn't. Today I thought I finally had it down, no irritation... until I went out into the sun and somehow melted its way into my eye & made me cry off my mascara and eyeliner.

I purchased this after my long time favorite matte spf moisturizer changed their formula. I have very oily skin and use this in combination with a mattifying makeup setting spray and still my face gets shiny and for me the worst part is my brows slide around. It has no fragrance, has spf, and doesn't make me break out so thats 3 stars. I'll finish the (huge) bottle and look for something better.

Every time I use this it pills up completely within the hour. If I try to layer it on top of a different moisturizer or serum the pilling starts within minutes.

Great mosturizer for oily skin. I like that it hydrates the skin but also doesn't make me extra oily. It's not overly matte either. I like the fact that it has spf 30. Wears well under makeup.

I got this bc I needed an SPF to wear under my makeup. I'm an oily-faced person (gets really bad now in the summertime) and since this product claims to be oil absorbing I thought it might be the answer to my oily prayers but no. Going on it looks fairly matte but a few hours later my face is reflective and my makeup is sliding off. Also, if it gets in my eyes it stings them all day. Will note that it didn't cause me to break out and the SPF works - so there's it's 2 stars. I will not buy this again and would not recommend for oily-faced people.

This product helps my oily to combination and acne prone skin. Doesn't leave my face greasy and it has no greasy feeling. I had no issues with this product. I will be rebuying it.

Been using it for about 2 months now. At first I was a bit skeptical reading reviews of how it made peo break out, but I have never had that issue. I apply twice a day, doesn't leave face looking/feeling oily. I have tried many before and this has been by far the best one.

This moisturizer is my holy grail, I can't recommend it enough! It's very hydrating and it really does absorb oil, I can't believe how matte it keeps my skin!

I have acne prone, normal - oily skin. I was looking for a lightweight spf that would not be heavy on my skin.This was not it, it did not absorb oil, if anything over time it became heavy and left a film like residue on my face. At first when applied it was runny, but once you work it into your skin it starts to get matte and then just throughout the day become heavy and gross feeling.

I am in my mid 30s with combination skin. I'm almost through my first bottle and I use it every day under my makeup. I've not had any issues with it, I plan to purchase again. I like this as my moisturizer during the warmer months but it's been fine during the colder months too.

This is underrated, I really can't complain. Crosses a lot of things off the checklist - no smell, doesn't clog pores, all the things you're supposed to look for. Do I think it absorbs oil? That's absurd, as an oily T-zone girl I don't think anything like that exists. I'll get oily around my nose halfway through the day, nothing new to me. Another plus: it doesn't break me out. Anyway, give this product a chance!

I want to note I didn't buy this from Ulta, but I want to warn anyone with sensitive acne prone skin that this could potentially ruin your skin. My skin was on the verge of becoming almost entirely clear before adding this to my routine. I didn't change a single thing besides using this in the morning after washing my face, and at the end of the day my face was covered in bumps, red spots, and tons of white heads. My face was relatively flat feeling before with maybe 5 bumps on each cheek, but after one use of this my face feels like a topographic map of the Western US.

Initially I got this because it was recommended by a YT channel when I first purchased it and I was sad because like other reviews my face just got oily but I changed my daily facial moisture for the Neutrogena hydroboost gel cream and it has changed my life I love how it feels not greasy no smell and keeps matte for almost 10hrs will repurchase again and again!!! ^.^

I have extremely oily skin and I use this as a primer to control oil during the day. It works very well for me - it doesn't make my skin dry, but leaves it nice and hydrated feeling.

I have oily skin, and this product makes it more oily than before. it leaves a later of grease on the skin, causing more acne.

I'm not sure how this product didn't work for my skin, but I've tried using it several times and it didn't control my oil production at all. In fact, my face feels more oily/greasy when I use this stuff than it does when I go without it. How disappointing. Maybe it has an ingredient that my skin doesn't agree with, but as far as I'm concerned, it's ineffective for me.
