Most Helpful Positive Review Absolutely Love!
Currently wearing it right now and I'm very satisfied with this product. I have olive/medium skin tone and with the primer, the pigment of the eye shadows are nice and can be seen with my skin tone. The colors pop more than other brands. I do have sensitive skin and when I applied this product, I didn't get any allergic reaction to it.
I heard that Maybelline came up with this product to compete with Urban Decay's Naked pallet. The Nudes pallet is by far the best comparing to the Naked 1 Pallet. The colors on The Nudes are very nice whereas on the Naked 1, their shadows seem very similar to each other. It doesn't catch my eye and would't come out nice to my skin tone.
There is a large amount of a difference for price. Maybelline The Nudes is sold only at $10.-- and the Urban Decay Naked Pallet is sold at $54.--. Depending on the maker, you'll get different results.
I believe The Nudes pallet is far more worth buying and for a pretty cheap price. It can also be a great starters pallet!
So far I am loving the colors. They do give more matte colors to work with which I am an absolute fan of. I try to stay away from using the shimmer eye shadows but the ones provided here on The Nudes really stay on your skin and do not flake :)
In addition to everything else, I like how on the back of the pallet they have an indication to different ways to use the colors they provide in duos, trios, and quads. It's very helpful when at times I'm stuck in a situation to what color to use today. Am I feeling lazy/simple or do I feel like putting a lot of effort in blending colors?

Regardless of the fact that I have an entire drawer full of just nude eyeshadow palettes, I think we all felt the same excitement when it was announced that a larger palette was coming to the drugstore.
I didn't expect much, especially knowing Maybelline's formula, but I figured I would give it a shot.
I was incredibly* disappointed. I know it was only a $10 palette, but this was just such a bad palette.
This contains twelve colors, and only four were I mildly impressed with. The other eight I could completely and utterly do without. They were chalky, not pigmented, difficult to apply, wore off (even with UDPP), creased. Oh boy was it a mess.
The four colors I did enjoy were ones I owned similar colors to (the color selection of this isn't very special either), and they didn't seem to last long either. By the end of the day, you couldn't even tell I was wearing eyeshadow.
I wish Maybelline would take this off the market, reevaluate their formula, and shell it back out because I think with a little more time and effort this palette could be very impressive.
You tried, Maybelline. Maybe L'Oreal will create a palette, I'd have high hopes for that.

I bought this palette because someone recommend it to me but I did not like the product. The eyeshadows were not pigmented, the color would not stay on and faded quickly, and didnt blend easily had to constantly keep putting the eyeshadow on so "it would stay." I do like how affordable it is and the good selection of color it had but would not buy again.
It's a great palette for beginners!

I bought this when I was first getting into makeup and love it because the shadows were not supper pigmented, so I could experiment without looking crazy. It has a really nice formula as well. If you are looking for an affordable neutral eye shadow palette then I would recommend this one for sure.
for the price its good.

the darker shades were great and easy to blend with a brush (didnt like the wand it came with, worthless) i loved them, the lighter colors on the other hand were so hard to work with. didnt build up at all literally would just fall off if I tried going over it again. and wish it was more pigmented. the colors are so pretty. there was only a few out of this pallete that i found worked really well.
Hi from FL
This isn't very pigment and what mean is to pick up the product with a brush. You got used a fluffy eyeshadow brush to pick it up and dig inside of it twice. Which I have no problem with. But when apply on the eye wow it pigment. I pick this up cuz I love taupe colors. This very neutral and created a killer smokey eyeshadow. I don't really reach for black but this make you do it.
I've used this eye shadow for years

Not very pigmented. The colors are buildable. Like it, but not my favorite
Where's the pigment?

First palette I ever bought. Color story looked perfect for everyday looks. Unfortunately most of the shades are basically invisible on the eye. The few that show up at all are patchy and transfer all over my lid. I thought my beginner technique was the problem but after trying better eyeshadows I've realized that's not the case. The one exception is that the black shade makes a decent eyeliner. Definitely not worth buying a whole palette for one shade.

I love this palette - it's small enough to fit in my makeup bag, and the color is very buildable. If you are looking for something highly pigmented this is not it, but whatever degree of color you put on will last throughout the day. I'm a blonde with lots of natural highlights and I like to play with my eyebrows, sometimes I even use these shades to fill my brow color to look very naturally full.
Horrible pigmentation and blendability

Worst palette in existence
Only a few shades

Only a few shades had any pigment payoff that I didn't have to spend a long time building. Won't rebuy
i would keep using this product

The way I use this product is on my eyes and depending on the mood, that is the color I will use. it is easy and fun to use
Great colors & lasting wear
Love eyeshadow from Ky
Great colors & lasting wear. I use a primer & powder & these colors really blend & last. Surprised so good since it's pretty inexpensive. Needs a better case & applicator. Also needs more pigmentation. You really have to load it on to get good color on some of the shades. Overall though, I like.
Glad I bought this...

Instead of the more expensive palate.
Not pigmented enough! Do not buy, even for beginners!
Natasha from New York
Horrible! Half of the shades barely show up at all- even Elf can do better! The only shades that were decently pigmented were the dark ones like the black and dark brown. The shimmer shades are practically invisible. Don't waste your money on this, I wish I didn't. I can't believe this has 4 stars on here.
Not pigmented at all

Terrible eyeshadow, not pigmented at all

I use it everyday and it comes with a variety of colors to choose from! I also use brushes with it.

Not great. There were a few shades that were nice. For example the pink and white shimmer shades were pretty and the 2nd from the top left corner transition shade was fine.
You get what you pay for

Since this palette is fairly cheap I didn't expect great quality, but it could at least have more than 4 usable shades. The majority of this palette was chalky and/or unpigmented. Maybe it's alright for beginners, but if you've used other palettes you won't be impressed.
I will not buy this again
