Nice, Lightweight Gel Sunscreen

Comments about Julep No Excuses Invisible Sunscreen Gel:

So far, I have really enjoyed this sunscreen. It is very lightweight and an actual gel so no white cast! I might be really sensitive to sunscreen smell after being forced to apply it by my mom in my formative years, but it does have a slight sunscreen odor, not terrible though. I have oily, acne-prone skin and this did not break me out or make me super oily so for that I consider it a win. I did take off a star because the bottle is TINY. One ounce is travel size in my opinion. It wasn't the most expensive sunscreen so it could be worse I guess, just make sure you take that into account as far as use/price.

Comments about Julep No Excuses Invisible Sunscreen Gel:

After years of searching for the perfect facial sunscreen, I have finally found it. My skin is very dry and sensitive and this stuff never breaks me out or causes irritation. I hate sunscreens that leave that weird white residue on your skin, and this one doesn't leave anything. It's so lightweight and feels so smooth on your skin. Love it, holy grail sunscreen, probably will keep buying forever as long as the formula never changes.

Comments about Julep No Excuses Invisible Sunscreen Gel:

I have been wearing a sunscreen since I was 28, and it has helped my skin age gracefully so I am very thankful. However, it does take time to find an SPF that works well for your skin and lifestyle. Once you find it. BUY A LOT! That is me with this one. Since the first bottle I purchased, I was in love.

I still wear a primer over it before makeup because of my oily skin, but if you have less oily skin, you may not have to do that. Since it has no white cast, it is perfect for both makeup days and non-makeup days. I do tend to layer sunscreens (to ensure I am covered) and on days I don't wear makeup, I would go on top of this with a tinted BB cream for just a little coverage.

This SPF feels weightless and is not visible. You can't see it, except for a little bit of dew that looks real and beautiful.

I can't say enough good things about this sunscreen. I have 2 backups of this always on hand, and I cut open the tube to get every last bit out of it because...well...I'm frugal and there is always several days left in there! LOL

I would be surprised if you don't enjoy it. Stay safe in the sun!

I'm 41 years old with combo acne prone skin and rosacea so it's hard to find a sunscreen that will not react on my skin. This sunscreen has worked wonderful so far and works pretty well with my foundations and does not make my face feel greasy. Only complaint is the price.

Comments about Julep No Excuses Invisible Sunscreen Gel:

This sunscreen gel is aptly labeled because with this product, you have "No Excuse" not to put on sunscreen before stepping outside. This is actually one of the best sunscreen products I've used. It's so light (in a light pink gel form - and truly invisible) and does not have the typical sunscreen scent. Best of all, the combination of wonderful oils in it kept me moisturized all day. On those extra busy days, after toner, I apply this, which takes care of my hydration & sunscreen needs. I don't know how it does it, but my skin never felt dry or dehydrated at all. I'm impressed at this multi-tasking product!

Comments about Julep No Excuses Invisible Sunscreen Gel:

I have always hated sun block (even as a kid) because I already end up like a grease ball. I hate sun block because I ALWAYS break out--no matter the brand, or how natural a product is. I have rosacea and noticed that once I hit my 30s I would get little red veins on my cheeks from lack of protection. The last year I have been really trying to find ways to protect my skin. I can't ever wear makeup because I end up being allergic, or break out, and it clogs up my skin. Basically, the only things I wear now is a daily light moisturizer, eye liner, and mascara. Anything else makes me break out or I'm allergic. This product has been a GAME CHANGER!!!! It is amazing. I put it on first, then my daily facial lotion after a minute or two. No breakouts, no rashes/allergic reactions, etc. It has like a shine to it when I first apply it to my face, but after 20 minutes or so, that goes away. I don't feel greasy gross. I am in love with this product. I would get it for any men/women--as there is NO scent!

I know No Excuses provides a broad spectrum, i.e. UVA/UVB protection. But does anyone specifically know the Persistent Pigment Darkening (PPD) rating of the sunscreen? For reference, with PA system used by Japanese sunscreens, PA+++ is equivalent to PPD of 8-16. Thanks!

There are a few different methods for UVA testing, Broad Spectrum is the system for the US, while PA+,++,+++ is used for Japan, and PPD for Europe.

Unfortunately we do not have have the PPD (Persistent Pigment Darkening) rating available at this time. However, we can confirm that No Excuses does provide you with Broad Spectrum - UVA/UVB protection.
