I wanted to like this mascara. The price point is perfect. I am always happy to find a brown mascara. I didn't like the wand though. It's so big and the bristles are so short. On top of that, I felt like it flaked off and I had little specks under my eyes.

It's getting harder to find a brown mascara, and I was intrigued by the description being all natural. When I opened the tube and took the wand out, the mascara had a strong chemical smell that I found unpleasant.
It did apply easily, but I'm not seeing any exceptional volume. It's a decent everyday mascara for when you're not in the mood for superblack mascara.

I wrote a review early about this mascara. I still like that the formula is easy on my eyes. I picked the brown and loved that too. I just hate the wand included with this mascara. It irritates me because otherwise it's the best formula for my eyes. But it goes on unevenly and I have to clean the eye area after applying. I pull out the wand, try to skim the mascara back into the tube, but I still have too much product on the wand. And later I have tiny dried bits that fell off the lashes during wear. I wish I knew a safe way to use another spoolie brush. I may buy disposable ones just to get some use of the mascara without the angst. I would tell the company to change the spoolie brush.

I usually buy Clinique naturally glossy but the last two mascaras from them have dried out quickly. I decided to search for a "clean" mascara because I have sensitivities to ingredients. I went with the brown since my lashes are light at the ends. It's a gorgeous brown! I do not like the plastic wand because I can't clean off the excess mascara well enough to avoid clumps. I have to use my eyelash comb after using this, something I don't normally need. Hopefully they'll change the wand. I will buy this again.

Here's the deal on this mascara: It's good for sensitive eyes; it doesn't make my eyes itch at all! I have long lashes, but they're very thin and very straight. The wand itself does a great job at curling them, but the shea butter in the formula can make them droop if you're not careful. I've found that waiting for the mascara to dry before you add an extra coat really helps add some volume and keeps your lashes from uncurling.
This is definitely one of those mascaras that gets better with age. After a couple of weeks, the formula becomes a little drier, which helps add volume and keep a curl. My biggest issue is that this doesn't really give extreme volume as it gives extreme definition. 3 coats is ideal with this mascara, but 2 is fine. If you don't set your under eyes with powder, it will smudge a bit in the summer heat. Overall, I really like this mascara, but I do wish it was just a little more volumizing.

This mascara is nice if you are not looking for volume. When I wear it, my lashes look darker, but not volumized or lengthened. It stays put. No flaking or smudging. And it's not impossible to get off at the end of the day either. If they would just change the name of it so people would not expect it to add volume, that would be great.

this lengthens my lashes beautifully, not very volumizing but that's ok for me personally. my lashes were soft and fanned out all day. held a curl great!
