Most Helpful Positive Review Love Red Carpet products!! Great color!
I have been using Red carpet gel polish for about 5 yrs. now and have never gone back to regular polish again!! Well worth the time it takes. Usually last about three weeks. Amazing!!
Most Helpful Critical Review Light colors don't last
Overall, I give the RCM neutral polishes 3 stars. They have a good color selection, and are always easy to apply (great brush). As with any gel polish, they're timely to apply and remove, but it's usually worth the extra effort.
The darker neutral shades get 5 stars from me: great application, opacity, and wear time.
The lighter neutral shades get 1 star from me: the colors are beautiful, but very sheer. For example, Timeless is still not opaque after 3 coats. The real reason for a 1 star rating, though, is that the lighter shades tend to chip within a day or two after application, whereas the darker shades wear up to two weeks with minimal, if any, chipping. So, not only do you spend more time applying extra coats to get decent opacity, you then have to take the time to remove the polish a few days later because it's already chipped.

This polish is a lot lighter than than the color on the bottle. It streaked and did not do well, when polishing over it. I will not buy it again.
Hard to use
Valerie from Utah
I've used several different brands of gel polish and I don't like this brand. The formula is very thin and runny, making it hard to get even coats. I love the colors but it's too difficult to use for me so I'll stick to other brands I like more.
Does not cure
BH from PA
Didn't know that this gel has to be used with their base coat or else it will not cure. I use gel because regular polish never seems to dry well and then smudges. Unfortunately this does the exact same thing.
I would do my own nails from now on.

Manicure and pedicure. Goes on easy and lasts 2 weeks.
T from Ohio
Very difficult to work with because of the thin consistency. Even after using a very small amount the polish ran off my nails. Had to take the polish off immediately and will be returning
Didnt even last 1 day....

I will not buy this product again I've used multiple gel polishes including CND and this only lasted one day on my finger nails.
I would buy this product again. Purchased For The Wine color
Hillari from MI
Only comment I have is once I finished and used the the cleaner to remove the stickyness, Half the polish came off. But I believe its because I'm using too thick of coats of the polish.

RCM are my go to gel polishes! They last at least 2 weeks before starting to lift, sometimes 3. The base color is a very light pinky nude which I applied 2 coats (4 if used alone) and the hot pink tip color is called My Main Beach.
Straight into the trash

Color looked awesome with the glitter until I applied it to the nail. After three coats it still looks like I have clear polish on. I like this brand but this color is a no for me.
Sorry not a good gel polish

I am going to try another product
This polish is 9+ dollars. It takes to many coates and by then it's so thick it peels off. I dont like it. Not a consistent color through out
Amanda from Michigan
The majority of my LED polish comes from Red Carpet. I don't love any of the polishes that have a shimmer (the color pulls from the edges of my nails and I have to cure them one by one), but I don't have this problem with the solid colors. It lasts and the colors are always what I expect.
Seven hours of hair care and the polish is still kickin'!
CaramelNChocolate from Minneapolis, MN
Any nail polish that can withstand the seven hours I spend doing my hair is aces in my book. The color is beautiful and on the nails that I appropriately prepped with the "Must Have" kit as well as cuticle care, the polish is untouched and still going. I think RCM has sold me on gel polish.
Love red carpet nail polishes!

I do my own pedicure and it lasts for few weeks with these polishes
Decent quality but color is off
Annie2196 from Chicago, IL
I purchased Test Shoot and really enjoyed the color. Unfortunately, it turned from the mauve color to a brown/tan color that wasn't what I wanted (at all). Quality wasn't bad - it's thin so be careful to not make too many thick coats - but I can't attest to it too much. I ended up taking it off after 3-4 days because I hated the color so much.

Liked the color, takes FOREVER to cure!
Ivy from Coral Springs, FL
Bought a base coat, top coat and a color. I tried to cure each coat for two minutes and it was still sticky! Good thing I had a topcoat from a different brand and it helped cure all layers in two minutes!
Not a fan

Is Not the Color Shown On the Bottle
XraySweetheart from Owasso, OK
I bought "Class Act" thinking it would be the pretty pinkish nude color of the bottle. Within hours of applying it turned a tan golden nude color, not anythong close to the bottle. Thinking it was the top coat I was using, I bought the RM top coat and tried it a second time with that. It still turned that same tannish nude color. Was really disappointed as I love the other RM polish colors and was looking forward to this one.
Color does not match bottle
SMC from Baltimore
I will be returning this item. The outside of the bottle made it look like the color was a pale pink and would provide full coverage. When I actually put it on, it was extremely clear and did not cover my nail at all. Even with several coats, it was still very clear. I would not recommend unless you are looking for a very sheer color.
Basically a clear coat

I was really excited for this color but there was no color at all. I put on 2 coats and compared it to my hand with a base coat only and there was no difference. Will be returning.
No. Just no.

Seriously, this gel nail polish is the worst ever. I bought the white polish because I couldn't find white gel anywhere and found this at Ulta. I prepped my nail exactly how you're supposed to and the polish was literally SLIDING off of my nail. It took forever to build the coverage and in the end it looked ratchet. If I could, I would give it 0 stars. Thanks, but no thanks.

Great gel polish and really pretty nude color. I love Red Carpet Manicure polishes and will continue to buy.
I would buy this product again

I absolutely loved this color. It's so feminine - yet very subtle.
So in love

I bought the color Catwalk Cutie. I had just bought a gel manicure system and knew Ulta carried this line in store. I grabbed Catwalk Cutie off of the shelf looking for a nice brown. The colors don't seem to be true to the bottle and I feel they're a little more on the sheer side to make the formula easy for their users (who will typically be non-licensed consumers using these at home). Fear not, I applied three thin coats of this gel color and got a very pretty color. It was very easy to apply, looks amazing and cured perfectly. It's very sturdy and I can't tell the difference between having them done in the salon and me doing them myself.
What helped me pick out a color was doing a simple google search while at Ulta and found a few pics of the color applied on someone's nails...it only took me a few minutes and I was on my way.
If you're reading reviews to decide on whether or not you would like to make this purchase, I suggest you be mindful of those who seem to not understand how gel systems work. The thicker your coats the more vulnerable to peeling your application will be. You also need to keep in mind that lint/debris will stick if you're not careful because your nails will be sticky/tacky until it's fully cured. Also...most top coats are tacky after curing until you wipe it away with solution. There's nothing wrong with the gel color, just the way it was applied. You need to remember that a UV system will cure nails in 2 mins while an LED system will cure 30-60 secs and for safe measure I cured each coat starting from my base application for 60 seconds. I cured my top coat for 90 seconds and I had 0 issues. Hope my review helps.
Peeled right off

Used in line with instructions, but it did not cure correctly and peeled right off. Also attracted lint/fuzzies.
