This product is bad for the skin. Fragrance shouldn't be in any skincare or anything in general. They irritate the skin, break people out, ages skin, and can even cause cancer. This could have been such a great product if only it didn't have fragrance. You think the brand would care more about the well being of it's customers than how something smells.

I see no priming benefit other than the sunscreen. Its very greasy.
Love how it looks and feels on my skin!

I wear this daily. I live the smell and how it absorbs into the skin and makes it hydrated without feeling shiny. This is a product I am stocking up on because I love it!
What I've been looking for for years!

I am so thrilled to have this product in my life! I use a retinoid (Tretinoin) which means I must use daily sun protection. I've been searching for years to find something that I can use every day which also won't dry my skin out to to point of it burning and peeling off. I'm so thankful to have found this, it gives me a nice glow, moisturizes my skin and really does blur out any imperfections. Plus it helps protect against blue light and pollution which is fabulous since I live in a high pollution area! Please never discontinue this product, it has been my holy grail since I first tried it< 3 also works great with my sensitive skin too!

Definitely smells like sunscreen but really does blur the complexion and hydrate.

I really like this oil. It absorbs quickly. Foundation goes over it well. Does not break me out. Does not make me look like a basted turkey. I put it on right after my toner, while my face is still slightly damp. It spreads beautifully. I don't know how it will work in the heat of summer, but now that it's cold it works very well.
Great for dry and mature skin - blurs pores and texture!

This primer is kind of blowing my mind. I have super dry skin, especially now in the winter, and a primer oil is the best option for me. This one is hydrating and sinks into the skin quickly with no greasy residue and no excess shine. SPF in an oil - awesome. The most shocking thing, though, is that this oil actually blurs my pores and smooths out my texture. I've never seen an oil do that! Smashbox was my previous favorite primer oil, and this is blowing it out of the water. I've tried both water-based and silicone-based foundations over it, as well as the Physicians Formula Natural Defense foundation, and all have worn beautifully. The oil doesn't cause the foundation to break down. It's really quite mind blowing to me.

I purchased this primer after falling in love with all the other natural defense line products. I was skeptical that it would be too oily but for me it works beautifully. The added sun protection is a bonus. I hope Physicians Formulas keeps this long term. It's amazing.

There's not much that is good about this product. Not only is it greasy, but it's hard to rub into the skin, and is not "slippy" like a good primer (very thick). But worst of all, it made my makeup look so terrible over top—I wear a mineral foundation and the oil made it clump up on my forehead. It made my makeup look way worse than if I hadn't used a primer at all. The only good thing about this product is the spf/blue light protection, but this is also offered by the Supergoop primer, which is a much better product. Disappointed because it seemed like it could be a very great product, but unfortunately it just was not good.
