I give this set 2 stars because I didn't like that it didn't last all day but I love the colors. I had read the reviews before I purchased it. I wore it in the morning before going to work and got compliments on it (Californication). By noon it had worn off, faded away (you could tell) and left my lips kind of white. I returned it.

Product wears off, and has no staying power. After one drink it made a mess on my glass, and it had worn off my lips.
Application is streaky and had to go over my lips again to have it be opaque on my lips.

i love this little set! it comes with an array of nude to pink lipglosses. Although they're minis, you actually get more than half the product you would in a regular sized NARS gloss. The only downfall is these shades definetly run very light and for some deeper skin tones, would end up ashy.

I bought the individual Velvet Lip Glide with lip pencil in color "Get Up Stand Up" I Be received so many compliments On the pigmentation and have been impressed with how long the color lasts. I thought this set would deliver same results. Unfortunately, it's not as pigmented and does not last long at all. I take one sip of a drink and it's already worn off. I wish I would've invested in another Velvet Lip Glide vs this set as it was a waste of money for me.

Wow! Look at the price of this set! Considering that Velvet Glides retail for $26 a tube, this NARS set is an amazing deal. Vibrant colors that last longer than I expect. Plus it leaves a creamy finish on your lips. Must buy!
