Comments about Hot Tools NanoCeramic 1.25" Flipperless Curling Wand:

Takes forever to create a curl and when you finally do, it flattens in a matter of minutes. I've had it for about a year and now it won't even turn on. I guess it doesn't really make a difference - working or not.

By the time I finished "curling" one side of my head the other side was already flat. I have very thin, easy to curl hair. Can't believe they made a product this horrible at it's one job.

Comments about Hot Tools NanoCeramic 1.25" Flipperless Curling Wand:

I bought this wand because I needed a wand that wasn't tapered. I have very thick, wavy hair and was a little bummed about how long I needed to hold my hair around the wand. I don't have to hold it as long on my tapered wand. It does create nice curls/waves, but they did fall out by the end of the night (sprayed 2-3 times with hair spray). Wish the curls held longer!

Not very happy with this purchase and my 30-day return time has already passed. This thing doesn't hold the curl, even after using the paul mitchell hot off the press and a good hair spray afterwards. I have thick hair and when I curl my hair with my flat iron they last overnight, obviously the next morning they don't look as good but there's still a curl there.
Super disappointed, I really wanted to love this curling wand.

Comments about Hot Tools NanoCeramic 1.25" Flipperless Curling Wand:

I love all of my hot tools and have never had a problem with them. This heats up super fast makes curling my hair pretty easy and the curls stay all day long! I would recommend this to my friends. My only gripe is that I wish they had an extended barrel so that I could wrap all of my hair around the barrel in one go instead of having to curl the top half and then the bottom. I have hair down to my waist for reference.

Comments about Hot Tools NanoCeramic 1.25" Flipperless Curling Wand:

My hair usually has no problem holding curl. I felt that this wand did not get hot enough to produce curls that will last all day. I used it once and it produced pretty curls for about 20 minutes before they fell. Better for very loose beachy waves than soft curls. Super disappointed.

I don't get it this is my second iron I bought from this line of hot tools (I just returned one that didn't work) and this one also doesn't work! Doesn't get hot even at 450' ! I have a tapered hot tools that has the gold barrel that I bought 4 years ago and it still works better than this brand new one! Is the black barrel just problematic? ??? This is gunna be going right back! Super upset!

Does this work for shorter hair? Mine is below chin but not to shoulder. A salesperson said this is what I need for beachy waves but is the barrel too big?

                      A:

For shorter lengths, we'd suggest using a 1" barrel size, which offers versatile styling. You can still achieve loose, beachy waves with the 1"! :-)

Yes, you can use it on all hair textures. For fine hair, we recommend adjusting to a low temperature setting for best results, and it's always smart to first apply a heat protectant styling product to your hair to help prevent damage from heat stying tools. :-)
