Most Helpful Positive Review Tiny but pretty powerful
I had to write a review and include a picture because I was so surprised at how tiny this hair dryer is. I have a Conair Cord Keeper for traveling but it is loud and just not my favorite (I have a powerful Conair Infinity pro for everyday use at home).
When I ordered the BaByliss pro nano, I expected it to be smaller than the regular sized one, but this thing is teeny! As you can see in the picture, it's about half the size of the Conair so I was very skeptical about performance. When I compared them, to my surprise, they're equivalent in terms of airflow and heat. The BaByliss is a little quieter too. So due to its more compact size, I think it's a better option (lighter luggage!), as long as you don't mind using what looks like a toy :)
Most Helpful Critical Review Just Say No to the Bambino
I bought this as a back up and for travel. Recently my overpriced every day dryer stopped working and I pulled this little guy out. Within 2 weeks of using it, my hairdresser asked what had I been using on my hair!! It was broken, damaged and split ends in areas that were normally the safe zones. This is the only part of my regimen that had changed-the use of this dryer.
But before writing this, I wanted to officially be able to confirm the damage was caused by the BaByliss.
My hair is colored, so a visit to the hairdresser, where my normal color, cut and keratin was applied.
One week later-Once again, my hair is damaged with split ends after having it professionally colored, cut and protective measures put into place. I can 100% confirm without a doubt, it is due to the little Bambino5510.
It is almost too small to physically handle and the high heat is just too much (at least for colored hair), unless the dry textured feeling of straw is the look and feel you are going for.

Never used it. Turned it on and it got very very hot. Smelled burning wire and it quit. Returned to Ulta.
Just what I wanted
Cindy from San Francisco Bay
This hair dryer is just as described. It's well-made and lightweight with a comfortable handle. I'll still use my full-size Chi dryer (which has a cool shot button), but possibly not as often ;) I only wish the Bambino had the option of a cool temperature.
The low setting does not work. Will have to return!

The low setting doesn't work. Will have to return to Ulta which is less than convenient since the nearest one is 45 minutes away.
Bambino means male child?

I was very surprised when I opened this box to see how small this dryer was. I also thought this dryer folded. I have very fine, thin hair so it's probably powerful enough to dry my hair. I'm a little sad it doesn't fold because of it listed as a travel dryer.
Love this little guy!

Got a 20% off coupon and used rewards so that made it extra sweet! It's an adorable size and nice looking mini hair dryer.

I love how small and powerful this blow dryer is. It is perfect. It doesn't get so hot that I feel like I am burning my hair which is great.
I bought three!
Brittany821 from Old Saybrook, CT
I got this as a gift and loved it so much, I bought more for my sister and best friends! It's compact, travels well, and leaves me hair silky smooth. It takes about 2 minutes longer to dry my hair than my other dryer but it is SO worth it. I get compliments all the time!
Small but mighty
WanderingRose from Syracuse NY
I travel a lot and bought this specifically for a trip to France. Love that you can adjust the voltage and use it in both the US and Europe. Now I take it on EVERY trip. It's small but very powerful. Additionally I use a diffuser much of the time so I bought it with the Conair Euro Style Diffuser which has a "universal fit". The dryer is tiny and the diffuser looks like it engulfs the little dryer! But it holds tight to it and works perfectly. I was worried that because it covers up so much of the dryer, the dryer may overheat but it did not. I have now used them together for numerous trips without any issues. This dryer is so much smaller and lightweight than my usual one at home so it's great for packing! I highly recommend it for travelers!
Love it, tiny but powerful

If you want a tiny hairdryer, this is it.

Be sure to physically look at this dryer before buying. Thought it would be larger based on the box. Not very powerful, but works great!
Exactly what I was looking for!

Purchased for an 11 year old as her first dryer. She is learning very well with a smaller dryer

Dries hair quickly without leaving it frizzy

I love this small hair dryer. I have a bobbed hair style and this works great for me everyday. I don't use it as a travel dryer. It is my everyday blow dryer.
Sarah Jean from Texas
I bought this because it is the perfect size for my granddaughter who wanted to start fixing her own hair. It's a perfect size for small hands and very high quality.
Ridiculously Loud, limited settings
BoyMom3 from Texas
I own and love the amazing (overpriced) Babyliss flat iron so I didn't hesitate to buy this mini for my son for Christmas. It is so incredibly loud! 2 heat & 2 speed settings, not nearly enough power on high but the heat is way too hot. I'm hoping that Ulta will let me exchange it.
Tenille from Sacramento
A little loud for the size but I have thivmck hair and it dried quite well, perfecty happy.
listen to the reviews
kiddo826 from MN
I should have listened to the reviews where they said it wasn't powerful. I used this on a trip and gave up and used the hotel hair dryer. The heat was fine, but the power just wasn't there. Perhaps I got a defective one? This one was returned.
Fewer Heat/Speed Settings Than I Expected
A Michelle from Charlottesville, Virginia
I was looking for an economical travel hair dryer with multiple heat settings without sacrificing speed. I misread the product description: "Two speed and heat settings..." doesn't mean there are 2 speed settings and 2 heat settings, it means there is simply a Low and a High. I ended up returning this travel dryer for a more expensive one where I can keep the air speed high while using a lower heat setting.
LOVE my new Bablyss Dryer
tempest from Canton GA
I'm typically all about saving money but I also really like nice things. That being said, I'm known to splurge on the good stuff when it's called for. This dryer checked all the boxes for me! At under $25 this little beauty is so budget friendly that I'll be buying a second one for home use. I needed a dryer to replace the one in my travel bag - I travel 85% of the year on both business and pleasure. Since it has to go in a checked bag often, it's important that it be light weight and this little beauty is. It's also quiet, cute and does a great job - in fact I believe the texture of my hair has improved since replacing my old dryer. And little doesn't mean this baby skimps on power or takes forever to do the job - it's got plenty of power to spare and gets me ready and out the door quickly.
Wow, just wow
NYCYNNY from NY
I have 2a/2b type hair. Not too thin or thick but looks kind thick lol anyway.... this lil thing is perrrrrfect for me!!! I just about always leave my hair curly and wet but now I can take the wet out of the equation!
It's tiny and perfect for travel but I haven't even traveled with it because it's my home hair dryer. I leave it about 1.5"/2" away from my hair, point it down from the top and my curls come out lovely. This thing blows boy! I keep it on low to achieve my desired results. This is a must have.
Overall, I'm so so happy w/ this purchase because of how impressed I am by babybliss products.... this one AND the ceramic flat iron that I bought during this haul are A1 products.
Excellent Travel Dryer - Dual Voltage
SierraSkier from Truckee, CA
I just returned from Europe where I found the hotel hair dryers to be completely unacceptable and difficult to use. I was determined to find a small, lightweight, dual-voltage dryer for my next trip, and this is the perfect dryer. It *is* a travel dryer, so don't expect the same performance as a full-size one. However, for a travel dryer, it is powerful enough to dry my thick head of hair easily and certainly much faster and better than the European wall dryers you find in most hotels.
I would buy again.

Bought for travel - Love for Every Day
Bp from TN
Needed to replace travel dryer (produced a deafening screech and dryers in hotel rooms just smell bad!). Bought this one over other cheaper and more expensive models due to reviews and the recommendation of the stylist at the Ulta salon. Fabulous product. Dries hair fast, no frizz (I have a lot of naturally wavy thin-strand hair). Leaves my hair soft, smooth, not fried. I can dry and go without any hot iron needed and enjoy the beauty of natural wave sans the frizz! Now using this every day until I order the full-size BaByliss Nano Titanium for home. Perfect size for travel also and motor is much quieter than other brands.
