Most Helpful Positive Review Worth the Price
I recently decided to splurge and buy a more expensive nail polish. After trying to decide between another top selling brand and China Glaze and after reading many reviews here on Ulta, I decided to get China Glaze Ruby Pumps. The formula is totally chip resistant, the polish goes on smooth and for this particular color I needed only two coats to achieve the opaque shimmery color that is seen in the bottle. It very long lasting which is perfect for a mom on the go who doesn't have the time to do her nails often and doesn't want them to chip quickly. The wand is short for better control and the brush isn't too thick and isn't too thin. The cap is easy to grip and the bottle doesn't tip over easily. The only downside to this product is the smell, it is very strong so make sure you open it in a well ventilated room, other than that this product is perfect for almost everyone.
Most Helpful Critical Review Will not buy again!!
First of all I have to say I do love the colors China Glaze has to offer. I have flip flop fantasy and it's such a fun summer color. There are too many negatives with this nail polish though. It takes way too many coats, chips very easily and has a weird texture when it dries. You will definitely need a top coat with this polish. Overall the price is way too high for the quality and I would much rather buy OPI or Essie.

Yes and No

The color is pretty with some shimmer. But dull and thin even after two coats and a clear top coat. After less than a week tip were chipping off. Had worse. Had better.
Bright but doesn't last!
Nikki from Philadelphia, PA
I chose this color because it was super bright and I love bright colors. One it dried on my nails it was very dull so you may to add a shiny topcoat for shine and to seal. My paint chipped off within hours of painting my nails. Definitely disappointed.
Nothing like the picture

I do not recommend
It was ok ... at least the color I bought
CJ from San Diego
The color in theory would have been great. But when applying it on my nails regardless of how many coats I applied, you could see my nail beneath it. It just looked weird.
Spectacular Blue Color

I purchased this China Blue color to place on my toes mostly as a Great Color representing the University of Florida Gators. I will alternate the toes with an Orange on two toes and this China Blue on three of the toes, same with my fingers. It's a beautiful color with a little bit of sparkle in it.
Chipped quickly even on toenails

Really pretty color and actually an opaque pale yellow so I was impressed about that, also application and consistency were good.
Downside is that it chipped really fast on my feet, which is where they usually last the longest in comparison to my hands. I will not be repurchasing from this line.
Very neon , takes a few coats to be even
C from Fuckouttahere, FU
It's ok the formula dries too fast between strokes so i was constantly removing and repainting wasting product so you need to layer a few times so that the finish is opaque and even .this does nto dry down shiny It dries a weird dried out matte but just layer with a top cot and it works fine , oh and the brush sucks so I swapped mine with and essie brush and it works way better now

Great color, Will use for pedicure only
Color is impossible chips in hours
Particles from Chicago
All the neon China Glaze colors are hopeless. You have to add so many coats to get a true color and then they chip and flake in hours. Literally the worst polish.
Terrible. Major Chips!

I don't get the whole hype about this brand. I brought this in July and first applied it to my nails then. Was absolutely terrible, had to apply like 3 layers and it still didn't look right. I thought maybe because I had added another polish on top and that caused it to chip a whole. Nope. Applied it again literally yesterday and all my nails have major chips! Also, my nail actually did break. I even added a top coat to prevent it from chipping! I don't get the whole "hardeners" in polish thing. So not worth the almost $8.00. Such a sad waste of several of bucks.

Cute color, too watery

This product took 3 coats- and it still could probably use one more! Love the color, it's perfect for summer sandals.. but I can't get over how watery the product was!
Love this color

Love the color. Purchased last year & was surprised Ulta still carry it as my other bottle got thick & had to throw out.
Perfect summer color
Me-Lala from Reno, NV
Such a fun, bright color! This polish took about 3 coats to give me the opaque look I wanted. It went on easily and did not streak or clump.

It wasnt the color i was looking for but I love it!

It's just silver, it's not holographic at all! I was surprised by the outcome because the Blue holographic was amazing! Very disappointed and will return.
Worst nail polish ever

I bought give me the green light. Color as pictured but seemed to be thin in the first coat & the more you layered (even with drying in between) it seemed to get clumpy & shockingly dried a matte coat for a sparkly polish. Will probably be returning.
