Most Helpful Positive Review Dream lipstick (for me!)
This is my dream lipstick. I've been looking for a buildable red lipstick that doesn't feel heavy and doesn't dry my lips out. Sometimes I like just a -hint- of red, sometimes more, but I NEVER want to feel like my lips are dry or sticky. This lip butter is so smooth and soothing, and the color really varies between soft and bold depending on how heavy your hand is in applying (I have Rio). It fades off pretty easily, which I don't mind- I've come to terms with the fact that no lipstick with a texture I like will have staying power. What I really love about this lip butter is how smoothly it wears off. No weird ring around my mouth, just softer and softer red into pink. Plus, it's not super matte or super glossy, just a nice shine like a lip balm.
I think the "blue" that people are noticing is from the pigment staining dry skin. With Rio, the dry parts of my lip will be stained noticeably pink for the rest of the day after I use it- I'm assuming whatever color causes the blue has heavier blue pigments. But that pigmentation is part of what makes this lipstick still look good while it wears off.
Most Helpful Critical Review Nasty stale smell and taste!
Omg I have been eyeing this stuff all summer long and decided to buy it. WOW! The smell was soooo bad I had to wipe it off my lips. I know it's bad because I just wanted a beauty influencer used hers out of the new kit's that just came out and she said wow this smells like the bronzer (coconuts). She said it even tastes good. I even took the lid off at the store to see what it smelled like. It had no smell but the second it hit my lips I just about gagged. Don't get me wrong the feeling and the color is off the charts wonderful but that smell is beyond offensive. I am just broken hearted because I love the color (Mauvin' to Brazil) but I couldn't think of kissing my hubby with this on my lips. Taking it back for sure.

I bought three of these lipsticks after having such a positive experience with the first one that I purchased. The first one I bought was "Brazilian Sunset" (not sure that's even available anymore). It was creamy, smelled really nice, and was exactly what I was looking for in the affordable buttery lipstick category. After that, I bought "Pinkini." It was totally different--less creamy, and almost stale smelling. Still usable, but not nearly as nice as the first one. Thinking it was a fluke, I bought some deep red color (don't remember the name) in the hopes that it would be like the first one I purchased. No luck. This was even drier than the second one and smelled so bad that I couldn't even use it. Such a bummer that the quality control is so off on these, given how great other Physician's Formula products are!

I Love how hydrating these feel when youre wearing them. They last for a couple of hours before you need to touch up a bit. Beautiful range of colors and so very creamy. I enjoy the shape of the packaging as well. I feel like it cups to my lips comfortably! Plus, SPF!! Cant beat it! Murumuru Butter Lip Cream SPF 15- Mauvin to Brazil Would recommend!

Love this lipstick! It is creamy, shiny and moisturizing. Love the mauve color. Not too dark or light.
Awful smell- like rancid oil
mariad from Canada
I bought this today, and the colour (Brazilian Nut) is AMAZING!! Texture is amazing. But it stinks! It is really hard to wear due to the smell, so much so, that I am still on the fence about whether to keep it or not. It smells like the oils went bad in the product. Clearly this is something people have been writing about for a year now.

It's my go to lipstick. It's smooth and buttery and it glides to your lips effortlessly. The colors are also very neutral would wear them every day

It's a creamy and hydrating formula. One of my go to lipsticks. I keep it in my purse for touch ups. I'm just sad they dont make this one any more. It was part of limited edition set.

I love this lipgloss. Its very pigmented and keeps my lips soft and hydrated. It only takes a small bit to get the color you wish.

I bought this product after watching several videos on youtube of the swatches for this product and I am SO glad that I need. The only complaint I have is that the cap can get a little messy but its nothing I really mind being that the color is perfect.
amazing i wear it everyday!!!!

I love this lip product! It makes my lips look so yummy and is the perfect sheer peachy pink color that is for summer and spring. Great product for everyday use and if you like sheer lipsticks you will definitely love this one.
This lip cream is okay...

This lip cream is okay. It is very creamy and slips and slides on the lips and all over the face. I like to blot it. However, it makes a very nice blotted lip. I just take a tissue and blot off the excess. However it doesnt last very long, since it is just a lip cream.
use it as a dewy blush!!

for lips: its slippery and thick, wouldn't reccomend.
but I use it for a dewy blush look and it reminds me of the Nudestix dewy blush

I figured I'd given this a try in Mauvin to Brazil. Great color/lip feel. WORST taste - like the old school Wet N' Wild lipsticks.
Bummer couldnt use it cause of the SPF

I cannot use this lipstick because of the SPF ingredients in it but ive heard it was a good product i rated it 5 star based on other people's opinion

The color was off from advertised by still pretty. The reason for the 1 star is that the lip products quickly went bad. Not even a few months later and it smelled rotten. I like the idea of the hydrating and good for your skin ingredients, but I hate that it went bad so quickly and will not be buying again because I question the safety.

This is my favorite On the go natural face, bronzed up sunny look lippie right now! Its lighter than a chap stick, has a tint of color and shimmer, and lasts for a while, it smells so good! Works perfect with a little highlighter and some mascara!
Could Have Been Better

This had so much potential! I got the Mauvin to Brazil and Pinkini colours, and they are beautiful! Exactly what I've been looking for. The downside is twofold: 1. It smells horrendous - like mildew clothes 2. The sunscreen is not the type you'd want to ingest, which is what happens with lip products. If they fixed those two things, this product would be a 10/10.

This is a messy lipstick.
Only way to apply it is with your finger, after lipliner, so it doesn't bleed.
But it feels nourishing, and looks good if you do it that way, tastes bitter, still wear it in summer because it has spf.
really like this product
jazzimomma from canada
really like this, smells great, tastes great and its so buttery. some people reviewed that it smells and tastes aweful & probably because of the spf but Im in Canada and mine doesnt have spf & smells awesome so not sure if they reformulated it recently but I kinda like it, just wish it had a better lasting effect.

I enjoy these lip balms because of the subtle color they give my lips. They feel nice and smooth and hydrating. Plus its SPF 15 so you cant beat that! The only downside is that the scent is a bit strong. Soaking up the sun is okay, however, Mauvin to Brazil is stronger and I found it a bit difficult to wear sometimes due to its scent. Its very fruity and tropical but has a sour taste/smell to it. Great color though!

It is a very dark kind of A berry color and its very tentative all show up real quick so I would use a very very light hand on this lip cream

I like this lipstick, but it's not my favorite. It goes on super smooth and smells amazing...but it is not long lasting at all. It's good if you are going for a super natural, sheer look. I would just like it to be longer lasting. Overall, it's a pretty good lipstick.
