I really don't understand the negative reviews for these palettes. I purchased both colors while on sale. and I really enjoy using them. It is true to the bronze and highlighter formulas. They blend beautifully, and the colors translate effortlessly to the eyelids. If you are not having good results, try different brushes and blending techniques. I have a ton of palettes including very high end, and these do not disappoint.
I have been using the butter bronzer for years and its my absolute favorite, so when I saw Physicians Formula was coming out with shadows in the same formula I had to have it. I expected it to have the same exact scent as the bronzer, but it smells nothing like it. Some of the shades blend out beautifully, other like the darker shades are patchy, and some don't pick up with a brush at all. There is a lot of kick back with these shadows which I usually don't really mind as long as they perform well, but I wasn't impressed with this palette. For the price I was expecting better quality, and it not being scented was a total let down.

The fallout on this product is INSANE, especially with the shimmery ones. Because it's creamy, I can't just flick it off my cheeks with a clean brush, I have to use makeup remover. Otherwise I look like a gilded alien—even when I'm being careful! I couldn't believe how metallic my cheeks were the first time I tried to clean up the fallout. Don't even think of applying your foundation first or you'll be redoing everything. The colors are okay; they lean more warm and look a little sickly on me. The more shimmery ones like the green gold have large glittery flakes. The soft pinks on the left are very light and barely show up, even on my light skin. There's also a fairly strong coconut smell which I don't mind but if you're not a fan of coconut, beware. Pretty disappointed in this product.

I have the tropical days palette. The three shimmer shades in the top right hand corner are really bad. You don't get the pigmentation you expect from them, they are quite patchy. The rest of the shades are fine, but not that pigmented, and if you exclude the blue and purple shades you are getting a very basic neutral palette. If you see this move along to something that is better quality for your money.

The packaging was plastic and super cheap feeling and I've never experienced this with physicians formula, the shadows are a lot smaller than expected and overall the colors aren't anything special. Probably will be returning this. I've been going on a binge ordering a bunch of things off ulta and this is the only product I was super disappointed with. I would say get this if you don't have a super full collection of eyeshadow and you are a beginner but I have so many eyeshadow palletes and this isn't something I would reach for

Really nice product! Smooth creamy feel is almost like a cream shadow. Vivid pigmented colors. Stays put all day (with No7 eye primer). The applicator isn't great. But I put them on and then blended with my own brush.

Lovely colors, blend well. Feels like butter!

The mattes are okay the shimmers suck they are like really hard and no product comes off on your finger or a dry or a wet brush. Hated it. Don't waste your money

I really wanted to love this palette, but after trying to make it work in many ways - it just is not it. The application is patchy and wears away extremely quickly.

Theses are beautiful colors and the mattes are the smoothest ones I've ever tried. They both blend very nice and stay on throughout the day.

I really wanted to like this product and had high expectations as I LOVE all of my other PF products, especially the products from the "butter" line. However, I found that the shades do not blend easily at all. The butter bronzer is one of my absolute favorite products out of all of my makeup and I have A LOT of makeup (mostly high end). I like to think that I know how to apply my makeup pretty well and am well skilled, especially when it comes to applying eye makeup and this palette left me very frustrated and disappointed. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Very smooth and soft eyeshadows. I try not to be heavy handed or will feel like I'm wasting product. The eyeshadows go on very smooth and blends nicely. I especially love the lighter colors as a base color. The colors don't fade or crease, but I also always use primer.

The colors in this palette (2nd one) are stunning. They blend super well, aren't patchy but are powdery so be careful. I hated the eyeshadow pad thing it broke as soon I took it out of the palette. I would say it isn't worth the price, but if you get it like 25-50 percent off it is so worth it. I

Great eyeshadow!! Beautiful colors. Great for sensitive eyes.

I am a big fan of PF products, and was excited to finally try this palette out. When I took it home, I was a little overwhelmed by the smell. I've used their butter bronzers before, and I know a lot of people really like that smell. I never did, but the bronzers never bothered me. This is pretty potent though. The palette was sealed of course, but when I opened it, something caught my eye. There was a white hair. I wasn't immediately alarmed because I have a white Great Pyrenees mix, and fur is everywhere so I figured it must have floated down. But I was wrong. This was IN the shadows. I grabbed some tweezers and pulled out two long, white hairs from two different shadows in the palette. They were embedded! It pulled up the shadows as I pulled the hair out. That's a big "no" for me. I don't care if it's fibers or whatever from cleaning supplies, they should not be IN the eyeshadows. I will be returning this ASAP.

I was so disappointed with this, I love the colors, but they're so dried out that you can't even use them. I don't know if I got a defective pallet or if it's just the formula. Very sad and I can't return it

The palette is a little difficult to use if you do not have to right brushes but when you do... oh boy are these beautiful. I used a firmer and thinner blending brush and once I blended it out with that, you can see the colors. Colors are buildable which I like. Smell is faint, which is good as it's going to be applied pretty close to your sinus cavity (less chance of a headache).
I used a Milani primer (silver tube) and then went for it. The one shimmer shade that I tried I did not like, which is why I am giving 4 stars. I tried to apply with my finger and it reminded me of the wet n wild individual glitter shadows. Overall it's an ok palette. I enjoyed it.

Bought this along with the bronzer (which was perfect) thinking it would be just as good. Was very disappointed and ended up using a cheap palette from home instead. Waste of money

Hands down the best drug store eyeshadows! They have so much pigment load and wear time. I originally bought the sultry night palette (the black shade alone is worth it) and was so impressed that I went back to Ulta for the other palette.
They do have fallout but honestly I get that even with prestige brands. My only complaint is the cheap applicator, it's like why did they even bother?

I picked up the Tropical Days Palette. Just so you know I usually don't mind hard to use palettes and I keep them in my collection to collect dust in case I ever need them. BUT THIS PALETTE WAS AWFUL. I am going straight back to the store to return this. I used it multiple times and the colors blend into a muddy gray. The deeper browns simply blend away into nothing. I tried over and over to create a usable look, and it's just not worth the price. There are so many better options out there, and I was super bummed because I was rooting for this palette.

Since I love their Butter highlighters, I decided to try out their Butter Eyeshadow in Tropical Days. I was impressed with how pretty the shades were and some were easy for me to work with, but others were patchy when I blended it out, even after I used a wet brush and my finger when I thought it would've evened things out

I love the texture and color scheme, I'm a big fan of the butter line. For me, I would have liked it more pigmented, it's extremely subtle. Fine for everyday use.

I can't wait to try all the colors on this palette. So beautiful!

I'm impressed with the staying power of this palette. It looks fresh from morning until I get home after a long day at work. Also I'm addicted to the phys formula butter scent so I kind of just bought this for that alone but was super happy with the quality & color story.
