My first eye palette in more than a decade. This replaced some old singles in the brand. I use these over the brand's shadow primer, and they stay put on my oily lids and look the same at the end of my day. The different was surprising in the softness between the old singles and the new palette. I am using the two darker shades on a dampened brush instead of an eye liner pencil. I am working on my smoky eye look and more casual looks. These smoothly apply on my crepey hooded eyes. My one concern is how well this palette will travel, when I do travel in the future. Would I buy this again? yes!!! Would I suggest this for others wanting a matte range of shadows? yes.Most Helpful Critical ReviewNice colors - terrible formulaI bought the Rosy Revenge palette, because I love the colors. The shadows apply and blend like a dream. It had become my favorite, until I pulled it out one day and two of the shadows had crumbled into dust. This was after 2 weeks. It had happened just moving the bag from my closet to the vanity. I ordered another one from Ulta, and it arrived completely crumbled and broken. The item was packed and wrapped well. I also own the Partner in Crime, and the first shade crumbled and fell out after the first day. I'm not sure what about the formula is different, because I own the Most Loved Mattes and use it a lot. That palette doesn't have the problem at all. It was out of stock at that location and the display photo offered what I thought would be the perfect group of nudes with one plum taupe kinda color. NOT ONE SINGLE COLOR IS THE SAME as the physical display at the store l. One pan of shadow was loose in the case. I have also since seen it in other stores for an average of 30% less money. Since I'm for sure returning the product, I haven't tried the quality of the product itself. This review is PARTNERS IN CRIME. If you love a matte pallet, this is the one for you. Not a shimmer or glitter in the bunch. I gave up on the shimmer/glitter stuff a while ago and haven't looked back. These colors are very neutral and cool. They are VERY blendable and the pigment is good as well. I do like a pop of color now and then so I just use a different matte pallet for a green or blue pop. I've purchased more expensive shadows with disappointing results. Give this a try.
