Most Helpful Positive Review Decent Hold....STRONG Odor I finally decided to splurge on myself and try Dry Bar products and I read review after review on every product of theirs that Ulta sells and decided to try this hairspray after straightening my hair. My hair is REALLY short since I just finished chemo treatments and it's in that weird in between place where it's too short to put up or really do anything with, but long enough that I needed to do something with it cuz it will poof out like I haven't ever combed it (no matter how many times I comb it). I found the smell to be REALLY strong and it has lingered all day but the hold really hasn't. It also has made my scalp itch a lot more than normal (I've dealt with dry scalp cuz of chemo) and it made my hair feel dry and straw-like. The hold has been decent enough that I want to continue to use it, but the smell is going to make me start using it outside. After this can runs out, I'm going to try one of the other ones. I hope they smell better and hold my style in place longer. This is the first time I've used heat on my hair in a year and a half, so I know my hair isn't dry from styling it all the time. Next time, I'll try spraying it on my hands and working it through my hair, concentrating on the ends but I hope the smell will wash off my hands. I'm very sensitive to smells right now. I would love to give this product 5 stars (especially cuz of the price), but the smell and the way it makes my hair feel warrants 4. It is lightweight though, which I love, so it don't wear all my "new" hair down. I would recommend it to someone not as sensitive to smells though.
Most Helpful Critical Review Formula is awesome, can is terrible, nozzle plugs constantly! Help Drybar! You have a great formula but need a new nozzle that will accommodate the stickiness of the formula without clogging.Smells great, holds style in place does'nt lock it in place hence it is a styling spray.

I love using this product as a dry shampoo/hair spray. It's so flexible and holds my curls on clean hair sooooo well. Absolutely never going back.
Won't repurchase 3

I enjoy the scent and find the hold to be decent for my hair type, but the nozzle has NEVER worked properly! I ran it under hot water and thought that fixed the issue, but nope. I have to run it under hot water before every use.
Not good hold 3

I love this. It smells so good and holds my hair so nicely while still being flexible!
Didn't do anything 2

I used this to hold down my baby hairs when I have my hair pulled back and it didn't keep my hair in place. Also smells terrible. But it probably is good if you want a very flexible hold.
So flexible 5

I absolutely love the smell and the control it gave my hair. It left my hair soft and manageable but in good control. It has such a refreshing, soft, and clean fragrance and I could smell throughout the day and made me feel great!
I will purchase this product again 5

A Waste 1

I blow dry my wavy hair straight. Money Maker didn't hold my style AT ALL! After a couple of hours, my ends started curling up, making my hair look like a mess. Had received a sample of Detox, Drybar's dry shampoo, so I was familiar with Drybar's signature scent. In Money Maker, the scent is WAY overpowering, to the point of making it really unpleasant.
Smells great but doesn't hold my style at all 2

Loooove this hairspray. I'm able to use a lot less hairspray using this product and get better results than my previous products. Drybar is a great brand!
Great hairspray 4

I used this to replace my John Frieda hairspray and it was a great alternative. I use it for lose waves and curls for my hair and it allows my hair to stay flexible but keeps the wave/curl in tact. It actually helps my hair last an extra day if I don't have to the time to wash and redo my hair! A great product overall, that smells good and is great quality.
Worth it! 5

I'm a black girl and I use this on my extensions. I like it because it smooths flyaways and it adds a light shine. Perfect for giving that sleek look or providing a light hold that won't add build up to your extensions.
Great choice for volumn! 5

One of the sales associates at Ulta recommended this product- so glad she did! It's awesome... use sparingly as it can dry out your hair a little.
Could not stand the smell!!! 3

I bought this product expecting high quality because of the price. The product itself works, it held my hair for a fair amount of time, was not greasy, and was easy to use, however it has one of THE STRONGEST smells I have ever smelled in a hairspray. I've looked through the other reviews and some people say they liked the smell and others say they didn't. I hated the smell. I'm not particularly sensitive to smells I use perfume everyday and can handle walking into Victoria secret and lush fine. But this scent was so so so so strong that it made even me not feel good. Sorry for those who want to know the smell, I don't know what to define it as but I like to call it hairspray + retirement homes + dead people. The smell doesn't stick around forever, maybe a couple of hours, but it sure stinks during that time. If it had literally any other smell to it I would say it is a great product, which is very unfortunate.

Soft hold with great scent. I normally do not like or use hair spray and love this product!
Really strong odor 3

The hairspray works great but USE IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. The linger of the spray is so strong that I choke every time I use it (which makes me rarely use it). I've never experienced a hairspray that hangs in the air this heavily.
My hair didn't hold it's style after using this product 1

I bought the volume shampoo, conditioner, mouse and root pump along with the hairspray. I have used it for several days and my style only stays approximately an hour then my hair is flat and looks dull.

I love this hairspray. Smells amazing. Just one issue with it it really does not hold my hair in place
Best hairspray EVER 5

I love this hairspray. I got a sample with my Buttercup blow dryer and fell in love. I curled my hair, set it with this hairspray, and it was still a BEAUTIFUL style the next day, despite being in a tight bun all night. I have thin hair that never holds curls so two days in a row is well worth the price in my opinion. The formula is also very light and doesn't make your hair hard or crunchy.

I have fine hair that hates me. I have flyaways everywhere and my bangs simply go flat because they're so fine. This reminds me of a hairspray with wax in it, I actually use it to cover my hair and style with my hands for naturally full and soft straight locks. It holds my bangs and hair in place without the slightest bit of residue or stiffness. I adore it. I've used beeswax hairspray before and experience the frustration of the sprayer becoming clogged. I usually just pull the top off and clean with warm water or a q-tip. I shake well and make sure not to spray at an angle, instead I lean into the direction of the spray which keeps it from ending up hitting the applicator. I definitely recommend it and will buy again for sure!
I didn't like the way it smelled. 2

I used as a light flexible hair spray but really don't like the smell. Otherwise it's ok.
