Most Helpful Positive Review I like it!
So I tried this conditioner while it was on sale, transitioning from Pantene. I actually started with the Clarifying Shampoo and Thikk Rinse Volumizing Conditioner. But...I wanted something that helped my hair to look shiny shiny shiny. I think it does a good job. I miss that super soft feeling after rinsing I used to get when I used Pantene conditioner, but once my hair is dry, it is soft, shiny, and smooth.
Most Helpful Critical Review It's okay
I bought this product because it was on sale and I absolutely loved the scent of the matching shampoo. I have an oily scalp (so I need to wash my hair daily) and dry ends with heat damage.
I was hoping that this conditioner would add moisture to my hair and it wouldn't feel so damaged.. I'm not sure if it has really hydrated my hair. I've been using it for about a week now and while my hair certainly feels healthier... it still is a bit dry.
Either way, I will continue to use it because the matching shampoo smells so amazing.

This stuff is horrible. Leaves my hair tangled and gluey feeling.
Dries your hair out - left feeling tangled

Expected a luxury conditioner since it is AG. Not at all - made me question what's wrong with my hair - and the smell is really odd. I went back to my previous conditioner . Do not waste your money on this product.
I would NOT buy this again

I bought this conditioner at cosmoprof and I am not happy! It did not moisturize my hair at all. I have blonde long hair and it only made it more knotty by not properly conditioning it. Don't buy if you have dry hair
Adri from Cookeville, TN
Smell is okay, I'm a master Barber/ stylist & heard great things about AG Hair & I tried this & felt it made my hair more dry & appearance dull.
I would buy this product again!

I like AG products. No parabens or sulfates.
Dried out my hair
ILM1211 from Southwest Michigan
During the last liter sale, I just filtered to what was originally the most expensive, and landed on AG. Bought a few different shampoos and conditioners because I couldn't decide. I just switched to this one a couple months ago and it's completely awful. Actually dried out my ends. I have NEVER experienced the kind of dryness and damage as I have in the past few months. I was ready to chop off the bottom 3 inches because I was desperate, it looks SO BAD. Then I wondered if it was the product I was using. I just went back to Redken All Soft and in literally 2 uses, I have my hair back. This Ultramoist stuff is pure garbage and going in the trash. Sad to have spent so much on something that nearly ruined my hair.

I had high hopes for this conditioner. While it smells great and is dense, it didn't do a good job detangleing my long, thick, wavy hair and that is a MUST for conditioners I buy. After rinsing my hair would not feel smooth but once it dried I did notice it being softer to touch. Soo there's pros and cons but I'm still holding out for a conditioner that I'll fall in love with.
this item i returned

I love AG hair care products but this one does not do it for me. Hardly softens my hair at all. I feel like I have to use a lot of the product and it doesn't even smell good. Almost a chemically, clay smell it's not a fave.
Best product ever for dry danaged hair
Lee from Fort Lauderdale FL
For someone with extremely frizzy dry hair. Chemically treated. This is one of the best products to keep dry frizzy under control. Conditioning. And use as a leave in. Smell to me is vanilla. So reviews saying it smells. Not sure where that is coming from. Definitely recommend this!
Not Good at All !
Mrs. Little from Orlando , Fl
I couldnt even brush through my hair after shampooing. Not as bad when I just conditioned but this is not a good product . I tried it because it was recommended by Ulta but now makes me wonder why they were pushing this so hard because it's not good and the smell is not good either . Would definitely not recommend. Mine is going back asap .
This truly works

Disappointed with latest purchase. Change in formula?
Claire from Harrisburg, PA
I have used the AG hair line for many years, and I have never experienced any problems with the brand, until recently. I have used the Ultramoist conditioner for over a year (before that I used another AG shampoo/conditioner, as well), and I always loved the product. It wasn't too thick, it had a great smell, and it left my hair shiny and smooth. However, my recent purchase of the Ultramoist conditioner left me very dissatisfied and confused. I ordered it online and when I opened the bottle, I immediately knew something was wrong - the smell was horrible, nothing like the sweet, fruity smell I was used to. Then, I noticed that the consistency of the conditioner was "off", too. It was much thicker and nearly impossible to dispense. Disappointed, I returned the bottle to the store because I thought I just got a "bad batch". After checking the stock in the store, I realized that ALL the conditioner smelled that way and was thick. So i just kept the bottle I had, and used it. After using it a few days, I could clearly tell a bad difference in my hair. It wasn't as shiny, not as smooth, and it was actually causing my hair to tangle and break off. I never write reviews, but I took the time to write this in the hopes that someone who works at AG or Ulta will look into this matter with the conditioner. For now, I'm switching to a different product. I hope this saves someone else the trouble of buying this product.

dry bleached damaged hair
kat from mi
by looking at the other reviews, it seems like this product does not work well for all hair. i have tried most of the AG line and this is my favorite moisturizing one. i try to have platinum blonde hair so it gets very dry and damaged. after i use this my hair feels noticably softer, like when i run my fingers thru my hair it just slips through. love it
Waste of money

I really like this product. After using it a few days you can tell a difference in your hair. It's softer and dry ends no more.
Leko from Tulsa, OK
I have thick, naturally wavy/partly curly hair and this conditioner seems to seal the cuticle nicely. Hair feels soft, smooth and manageable. Not too heavy and has a light, clean, almost citrusy fragrance.
Perfect for Curly Hair
JMB from Maine
I wash with the fast food shampoo, then use this. All I need to put in after is the fast food leave in conditioner, and my curls are soooooo happy. First time i've found product that actually calms my hair and makes it natural looking without needing gels or sprays. Happy!!!
Moisturizes Dry Hair
Maureen from Clearwater
Don't usually use conditioners, but hair was getting a little dry so got this to go with my other AG Shampoo. It does a good job moisturizing my hair without weighing it down.
My hair hated it
Stockton209 from Stockton, CA
I am all for the cause of AG. I love how their products are vegan and help Africa. However, my thick, curly hair did not like this shampoo. I gave it a week but had to return it.
