Most Helpful Positive Review Can Be Used as a Regular Conditioner
I just ran out of my bottle of AG Fast Food leave in conditioner, only to find that I've been using it wrong the entire time! Because the bottles for the standard moisturing conditioner and the leave in conditioner are very similair, I mixed up the two and have been using the leave in as a traditional rinse out conditioner...but ya know what? It's been working great! I don't wash my hair everyday, and find that traditional conditioners will oil up my hair quickly, making it difficult to get the most between each wash. After using the leave in conditioner as a rinse out, my hair was still moisturized, stayed straight longer, had more body and just looked better overall. Last night I switched to the AG standard rinse out conditioner and found that when I woke up, my hair was oily and felt almost damp. It was just too much moisture for me. I'll be going back to the leave in conditioner to be used as a rinse out and may even leave a bit in from now on for a little extra pop of shine.
Most Helpful Critical Review Does not work for me
I tried this product after watching a favorite YouTube beauty guru recommend it. I wish this product worked for me because it is probably one of the BEST smelling hair products I have ever used. I have long, thick, coarse, wavy hair that is prone to dryness due to highlighting. I used probably 2 quarter-sized portions of conditioner and applied it throughout my hair from about chin level down to the ends to avoid greasy hair at the roots. It didn't make my hair any softer or noticeably less frizzy or better moisturized. In fact, I found it harder to blow dry in sections with a round brush (as I normally do). It just weighed my hair down and made it less manageable and almost dirty-feeling. The bottle is very large and heavy and it's difficult to dispense the product, as it is a squirt top dispenser. AG should, at the very least, put a pump top on there. Very disappointed and the product is ridiculously expensive, too. I will stick to my CHI Infusion serum and Miracle 7 spray leave-in conditioner.

Was not impressed with this at all. I have thick curly hair and this did nothing for frizz, even seemed frizzier, weighed down my hair, made it feel greasy, and worst of all, it made my head so itchy I woke up from a dead sleep scratching my head and had to take a shower to rinse it out. Used it twice and that was enough.

New to leave in conditioner and love it
Dana from NY
I got this in my fab fit fun box and was skeptical. My hair is prone to being oily so I shy away from leave in conditioners but since we're in quarantine, I tried this on my hair. The first time I didn't use enough - I have fairly long hair that is very wavy and frizzy. I tried it again after the first time and used more product and it was great. It weighs my hair down and gives me nice waves when I let in air dry. I did use a new blow dryer that I got yesterday when I had this product in my hair and it was fine but I think I would need a lighter leave in conditioner if I want to style my hair. But for just getting out of the shower, putting this in and going (which is usually what I do), I absolutely love it.
I would buy this product again and again I love it

Put in my clean hair and it keeps my hair from looking dry or getting frizzy.
100% worth it!

I have used many different leave in Conditioner and this is hands down the best. It feels great, works, and smells amazing. My hair tangles very easy after the shower and this helps it 100% the only think I wish it was a spray in.

Great Frizz Control and Amazing Smell

I got this in those beauty boxes (thought I'd leave a review since I'm buying another and to help others out) and was kind of skeptical. The container itself does not say that it is specifically for curly hair. I was running out of my normal leave-in conditioner and didn't want to run to the store (you know, quarantine things) so I decided to give it a try. First of all, it is a thick formula so make sure your hair has the right porosity for it. Second, I apply it after I wash my hair and comb through my wet hair to spread it out evenly. Then I use a mixture of oils (Jojoba, coconut, almond) on top of that. Keep in mind the oils are really necessary, it's just to seal in the product since my hair loses moisture fast. Anyways, the product really defines my curls and is weightless. One definitely does not need a lot, a little goes a long way. It smells sweet, kind of like cotton candy, which I LOVE. One of my friends came over before quarantine and was doing a sort of keratin treatment to help loosen her curl pattern. She asked what was my routine because my curls always seemed amazing. I told her to wet her hair and continued to do my routine on her hair (we have similar hair). Her hair would be wavy (ex. Jeffree Star's hair when wet) before, but when I did my routine, her hair started to curl (3a ish). The effect was almost immediate and she was amazed. She quickly asked me what was the brand and I showed her. So yeah, this product is AMAZING :).
Hands down the best leave-in I've ever tried!

I have shoulder length hair that isn't thin or thick. It's also straight. I've bleached and used color remover in my hair. You could never tell that I have done anything like that because this product is phenomenal!! I take a nickel to quarter size bit in my hand and rub my hands together and start at the middle and work down and then I do the roots down. I comb through and my hair feels so wonderful. The condition feeling lasts for days (I don't wash my hair every day due to it being fuchsia and don't want it to fade). No other product has even come close and I've used so many different conditioners and hair masks over the years.
I only used it once but so far so good

I have type 4a fine hair, very dense and I used this under my Kinky Curly Curling Custard. I used it on soaking wet hair as I do with all of my products. It wasn't bad. It seemed to give my hair good moisture. It did not leave any white residue. I was able to comb through my hair when I applied it. I don't have anything negative to say about it. Give it a try and see what you think. If you have straight hair you probably want to use a lot less. I divided my hair in 2 sections and my hair is about collar bone length. Given how much I used, I'm not sure if it is the most cost effective product.
Lightweight and smells amazing

After Years of using a curl product line exclusively - that destroyed my hair - I've been on the hunt for new products for my 2c-3a fine curly hair routine. I don't ever want to go with only one brand of product going forward so I am not relying on just on company nor be at their effect if they do something to change it that layered on could harm my hair and scalp. This is such a great product I'm considering re-thinking this decision and trying their shampoo and conditioner too! As most curly girls know a good leave-in conditioner is the foundation of lovely locks, and the one you use can make or break your ability to style/keep your hair and frizz free. This leave-in is lightweight, when distributed evenly through hair, and has helped to keep my hair soft, flexible, and frizz free! It smells like dessert, so if you don't like sweet smelling products - this isn't for you. I find it delightful, my 9 year old daughter asked me to put some in her hair because she loves the smell, and my husband likes the smell too. I highly recommend this product and will be stocking up next hair care promotion Ulta has, but is worthy of full price purchase without promotion.
Coarse hair don't care from Bloomingdale, IL
I used it for the first time today and I feel the need to wash my hair. I have very coarse, kinky hair so I wash once a week. My hair felt better before I washed it. It feels like there's residue in my hair and it doesn't feel any softer. My ends feel dry and frizzy. I'm going to stick to the Alterna Anti-Aging leave in. It leaves my hair feeling amazing plus it protects my hair from heat damage. With this, I'd still need a heat protector and I don't want to add too many products to my hair.
On the fence about this product
Netterz13 from Bay Area CA
I have fine hair that is very damaged from a botched color job and the subsequent repair work. It's pretty much like cotton candy after washing and conditioning, I need to put in a ton of product just to be able to detangle and style it. I use about a quarter-sized amount of Fast Food on my ends and mid lengths along with a heat protectant oil or serum. It really helps a lot with getting my mop detangled and my ends look perfectly conditioned after drying, with zero frizzies which is a miracle in itself. The scent is also amazing. I do find the product kind of gummy/sticky once it's in my hair; I really wish it had more of a slippery consistency as it's not easy to work into the hair and gets really sticky if you don't blow dry your hair right away. For that reason I will probably experiment with other leave-ins once I finish this tube, but I remain really impressed with how nice and sleek it makes my ends look.
Surprisingly powerful & still works for fine hair
Fine hair product hunter from Lansing, MI
I have fine, not particularly thick, and color damaged hair. I struggle during long, cold winters at keeping the lower inches of my medium length hair from turning to straw. I've seen a lot of comments about how heavy this product is -- I will cop to the fact, up front, that this product will make it hard to style your hair if you are expecting to achieve a ton of body with finer hair. However, I think the problem some folks run into is that a very little goes a very VERY long way. My hair is probably just over a foot long from too to end, and I do not use more than a pea-sized amount. My hair is smooth, silky, healthy and not greasy or filled with product build up.
Makes my hair smooth and shiny, tames the frizz.

Love using this after every shower. Made my hair smooth and easy to style.
Softening and strong

Loved the smell and it's softening effect. It's pretty concentrated and a small amount goes a long way

I've tried them all, and AG FAST FOOD LEAVE IN CONDITIONER is the best ever!!! I never let myself run out. I stock up on the Jumbo sales. I have thick curly hair.

Stripped my hair of natural oils and left it dull and dirty looking (thin hair). At first it seemed like it was going to be a good product but now I am nearly to the end of the product and I'm looking for something else.
Shari from Orlando
Unlike other leave in conditioners I've tried you hair does not feel coated or weighed down. You only need a dime size and your hair feels strong and moisturized. Would have never known about this unless a hairdresser used on my hair. Game changer
Jenna from New Hampshire
It took me close to a year to finish the last big bottle I bought of this. when ai ran out, I tries using a couple other leave in conditioners and it just wasnt the same. i had to buy more! my hair is really thick, and coarse, and I bleach it to color it purple, so my hair needs all the moisture it can get!
