Comments about Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette:

Been watching this palette and then received as a gift. It's much nicer than the pictures. The duochrome on the top rocks my world and the rest of the colors are beautiful. The colors are soft and apply well. Love the light mint scent.

Loved it! while the it had the same colors as the reloaded palette they have, the weight feels nicer in the hand. they have a soft feel when applying. little fallout, lasted me through 2 kids parties and a nap. def will repurchase if I hit pan. theres lots of product here.

    Not the Best!

    By Bailye

Comments about Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette:

I love Makeup Revolution palettes and wanted to explore more colorful eyeshadows. Sadly, this isn't the palette to do that.
I find the green very dark and hard to work with. The irish green shimmer had an awful texture. the other, more neutral basic shades, look lovely. But I feel like this palette highlights the green shades and they arent the best. It's also hard to gain inspiration from the palette, but without using the greens I can achieve beautiful looks.

    Pretty and shimmery!

    By ChromiumKitty

Comments about Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette:

I used the shimmer colors when I first tried the palette and was pleased. They apply well, have decent pigmentation, and seem to last pretty well.
Swatching the matte colors, though, I was disappointed. Those don't seem to have as much bang to them as the shimmer shades do, though they felt creamy to the touch, so maybe they'll apply smooth when I try them out.
Very little fallout, at least on those shimmer colors.
I'd say this is a really good dupe palette, and if you're on a budget, it's a good investment!

Comments about Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette:

I actually purchased this palette becasue I do like the chocolate bar shadow palettes from Makeup Revolution, and it had a lot of colors that were not already in my collection and I'm trying to branch out into more colors eye shadow wise. I have only used this palette once so far to create a green and gold eye look. I thought the colors blended well together, and when I used some Mac Fix+ with the shimmer shades it really made them pop. It did last most of my day, but when it started to fade towards the end of the night it faded hard. I think you could create a lot of looks with this palette though, and would recommend it.

Comments about Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette:

I got this off the tam beauty site along with the chocolate elixir palette and I love them both! I wanted to get palettes similar to the ABH Modern Renaissance palette and Subculture palette because I am super allergic to carmine which ABH uses in their shadows so ABH is a no-go for eye products for me.
Being allergic to carmine makes eyeshadow buying a little stressful and limits the available options but I finally found these two palettes and I am happy as can be! I love them separately but adore them together!
I occasionally have found them to crease a little bit, nothing horrible, and it doesn't happen everyday so I think it might have something to do with my shadow base or something more than the shadows themselves.

      Pretty Colors

I've found that some of the shades in this palette apply better with a sponge applicator than an eyeshadow brush. The colors aren't highly pigmented but they can create some really nice soft looks.

Comments about Makeup Revolution Mint Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette:

I purchased this because it seemed like several of the shadows were dupes for shades in the ABH Subculture palette. I loved the shades in Subculture but loathed the formula (actually returned that palette), so this seemed like a promising semi-dupe. Overall, I'm on the fence about this palette. The mattes in this palette seem to generally outperform the shimmers. Most of the shimmers are patchy, have glitter fallout, and require a lot of building. As an example - the deep green in the middle, third from the right, is a shimmer and just goes on like chunks of glitter. The bright mustard in the lower left part of the palette was a big letdown for me. It is a shimmer, not a matte, and it goes on like a typical gold shimmer eyeshadow. I'll admit, I was most looking forward to that color and the deep teal in the top right, so having one of them be completely different than what I expected was a disappointment. Overall, I'd say the palette is hit or miss in terms of which shades are good and which aren't. And if you're hoping this will be a semi-dupe for the Subculture palette, I would look elsewhere. This is far too different in terms of the finish and the overall tone of the shades. I got this on sale so for that price, I think it's worth keeping in my stash. But overall, it's a bit of a letdown.
