Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Loose Powder SPF 30:

I love this mineral powder. I switched to mineral powders like Bare Minerals and Tarte Amazonian Clay about a year ago because my skin was reacting to liquids and anything containing talc. I was in a pinch recently and decided to buy something from the "drugstore" options.
Though their shade range is extremely limited, I decided to give PF a try. I think it looks much nicer than my bare mineral favorites and lasts x3 as long. I layer it under my tarte powder (which does not last long at all!) for makeup I don't have to touch up at all tthrough the day.

The packaging sucks and the brush that comes with it really sucks! When using the brush, this makeup goes on so heavy. I have to use one of my RealTechnique brushes for a better application. I've also decided to transfer my PF loose powder into an old, empty Tarte package (big, spill free, w/ mesh filter).

I also love the SPF coverage!

This is my new go-to foundation.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Loose Powder SPF 30:

This powder is awesome. I wear minimal makeup and needed something to even out my skin tone and be quick to use. This product does exactly that, it goes on smooth, covers up minor imperfections, blends well, and reduced shine. It's perfect for when you're in a hurry.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Loose Powder SPF 30:

Depending on what kind of coverage I will apply with damp sponge or a brush. I find it holds up best on my skin and fades gracefully. When it fades that is....which I may touch up but there are days I got with no touch ups and have a full face after 13-15 hours. The best part is that this is talc free! My skin reacts to talc and it's in most makeup so this is my base so it's nice it's talc free since it's covering my face! This is honestly a god sent for me!

I have used this product for the past 5 years, and I love it! I began using it because heavy foundation caused breakouts. My skin has never broken out from this lightweight powder. It evens out my skin, but does it in a very natural way.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Airbrushing Loose Powder SPF 30:

This comes in 1-2 shades and honestly that is incredibly limiting. I am of very very very light complexion so I assumed Translucent Light would be fine. This was so dark it looked like I applied a spray tan directly to my face. It was horrible, I tried to blend it out to make it better but to no avail. Translucent means semitransparent. And Light means... well light! This powder as neither and I ended up giving it to my mother whom has a darker complexion than I do. On her it looked very lovely, nice coverage, not cakey, didn't settle into lines. I guess if you are one of the 2-3 shades they carry foundations in you will like them. I would give more stars for that, but come on. The shades need to be expanded and diversified.

Would this be ok for a light/medium skin tone? I've noticed a lot of fair skinned reviewers say it's too dark for their skin tone.
