Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free All-in-1 ABC Cushion Foundation SPF 50:

I found this foundation to be alright. I sometimes use the cushion it comes with and sometimes dip my beauty blender in it. Best coverage comes from cushion but beauty sponge does better blending. I noticed this is light to medium coverage and didn't look good on my skin if I put a second layer on (cakey/dry look). There also doesn't seem to be a lot of foundation in the container. I use this foundation when I'm in a hurry since I just pop open and dab one layer on my face.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free All-in-1 ABC Cushion Foundation SPF 50:

I read so many glowing reviews of this foundation that I decided to try it for myself. It is very smooth and easy to apply but the shade range is awful! There is no shade thumbnail on the packaging or on the store display. Choosing a shade of this foundation is a "best guess" at best. I have a fair to light skin tone and chose "natural". When I got it home, I was shocked to find that it is way lighter than ivory or even a porcelain shade. When I applied it, I looked embalmed! I hoped that it would oxidize to a shade or 2 deeper but no such luck. The shades of all Physicians Formula foundations are light to medium with definite cool undertones. No warm, neutral or deeper tones to speak of. I ended up returning it for a refund. This brand has prices on the high end of the drugstore spectrum so it's unfortunate that it has such a poor shade selection, and no way to really know what shade you're getting. I ended up buying the L'Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion instead which has a much better shade range to choose from. I gave this PF cushion 2 stars because it has a nice texture and blends well.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free All-in-1 ABC Cushion Foundation SPF 50:

I am a longtime Physicians Formula user and have tried almost all of their foundations. This is probably my second fav foundation, next to Nude Wear. This is good if you find their BB and CC creams too heavy.

As w/ most products, the application pad is basically useless. I prefer a dry or barely damp beauty blender. I use a primer and setting spray w/ this, as I prefer not to use powder.

My only issue is with the built in sponge, which I hope isn't harboring too much bacteria... It would be nice if this formula was available in a tube or bottle, for cleanliness. I will def buy this again though.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free All-in-1 ABC Cushion Foundation SPF 50:

Shade selection is limited. I'm lucky I got a match. I normally wear MAC NC27 in winter and NC30 in summer. I have mature skin combination normal/oily. This foundation goes on like a second skin. It is buildable. It didn't exaggerate pores or wrinkles. I used a squirrel brush for application because sponges eat foundation and there's not much product in this compact. It covered my dark circles well. I tried two shades in this line: Natural and Beige. Medium was too dark and orange. Light/Medium was too pink--- probably better for NW25-30 skins. Since I have a slight tan, Beige was my best color now. In wintertime, I will go a shade lighter, which will be Natural. It didn't break me out. If you have sensitive eyes, avoid getting this near because the high SPF will irritate.

I like cream to powder foundations but wasn't finding one that I liked, so I opted to try this cushion foundation which I hoped would be a good substitute (I was ready to spend $50+ on YSL, but thought better against it until I tried a more economical brand). I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of application and the color (as well as the wear). And the SPF is an added bonus. It does not feel greasy or heavy at all.

First of all I'm typically a brand buyer but recently started cutting back to save up faster. So I bought this stuff, instead of my usual expensive foundation, and I LOVE IT! I have oily acne prone skin and this stuff is perfect for it. It will settle into creases IF you don't use a primer or concealer. It's true to color and even when I got back to buying brand name products I'm still going to buy this for my foundation. Nothing bad to say about this stuff

I loved it the first two or three times I wore it. After that it just looked very yellow on me eventhough my skin tone hadn't changed. It only lasts a few hours even with a primer.
