I am so impressed and in love with this sunscreen! I gave it a shot despite there not being a ton of great reviews. What I gathered was that this gel lotion is not made for people with normal to dry skin. I am not one of those people, I have horribly oily skin on my forehead, nose, and chin. My cheeks stay more dry than these other zones, but they are not safe from Big Oil. I tend to avoid wearing sunscreen altogether because lotions always clog my pores and turn me into the greasiest, melting wax figure abomination. So, the first day I tried this, I was in love with the light, fresh aloe scent (lovely ingredient to help soothe redness). I was also so impressed with how it made my skin feel! It has been so soft and a little bit glowy even! The only issue I noticed was that I did not massage the product in all the way around my hairline and jawline, so there was a white cast around there. That just meant I needed to be more diligent and thorough with my application, and the next day I did that, I had no issues. I have been using Paula's Choice BHA serum at night and Too Cool For School Egg Cream cleanser every morning for anyone wondering. Also, I try to use this Brightturn Peeling Gel from Elizavecca Milky Piggy almost weekly. Anyway, this sunscreen added to this current routine has literally changed my skin. It has never had this type of oil control, softness, and glowiness. I do not wear any face makeup, only eyes and lips, because of how oily and clogged my pores get from products. I don't even like to put moisturizer on sometimes (I know that's bad), but this sunscreen also contains the perfect amount of moisture for my skin. I feel like this product was made specifically for me and people like me who struggle with oil, redness, and products causing breakouts. If you do not have pretty oily skin, then this product likely isn't for you in my opinion. It might be too drying for normal to dry skin!
I didn't love the experience of using this product. I apply it at the end of my skin routine but this product is impossible to work into the skin. Usually I like to rub the sunscreen between my hands to "warm it up" (it helps with white cast) but this product sets as soon as it touches your skin, so it ends up balling up on itself when I try that. Rubbing it onto your face doesn't work either - it sets immediately, and when it dries you can see all of the streaks where you've rubbed it. If you try to touch it again, it will ball up on itself and leave little nubs on your face that look like tiolet paper bits. And lets not even talk about the white cast. It's basically unusable for my face at this point, so I will end up returning it. It's unfortunate, because the actual feel of the lotion and smell is quite pleasant so I thought it would go on more smoothly.

The original face lotion was great. This was even better! Goes on smooth and blends easily. New favorite and doesn't make my clothes white when I go off course rubbing it in.

I really wanted to love this. I have been looking for a mineral sunscreen, since I am super sensitive to chemical sunscreens ( i.e La Roshe Posay Double Repair UV) Unfortunately this leaves a crazy white cast- but most do. And the pilling is awful. Feels like as I'm trying to blend it into my skin, it pills off and defeats the purpose- ended up having to use another sunscreen to blend it in and get the proper amount of sun protection. Two stars- you've been warned.

It dries nicely however it peels and balls up like crazy. It stick to your peach fuzz and hard to get off. Just skip it.

I use it after waxing eyebrows for sun protection.

So I had high expectations for this product. I was really hoping it will work out for me but it just does it. It works good on bare skin. On bare skin it leaves a little to no white cast exhorters fully and where is great. But if you put on any other skin care product besides just washing your face and putting on sunscreen this balls up ridiculously. And if you try not to rub it until it starts to bother then you're left with a horrible cast on your face. I just can't, I've tried multiple different scenarios trying to get this product to work over a two week span and I just can't. I really really wanted it to work but it doesn't for me. I'll try taking particular ingredients out of my skin care routine. I've tried to wait a couple hours and then put it on. I'm even try testing it at the end the day before I wash my face to see if it was still ball up because my skin was dry and it still bothered that. Not to mention it can leave a cast if you start to sweat in your hairline. If they can fix the problem so it doesn't bother anymore anymoreAn issue with it leaving a cast the minute touches sweat I would gladly re-purchase this and give it another go but until then I have to say now. But I am looking forward to trying the body screen I am African-American and it didn't leave a white cat once it was futhe sore so I am willing to try their body sunscreen.

This sunscreen doesn't leave a white cast on my face. It's lightweight & non-greasy. But I have noticed it will pill on my face, my makeup also gets a little patchy when I use this. Overall not the worst, but not the best either.

The sunscreen feels good when it goes on, but it is impossible to rub in. As you start to rub or pat it in, the sunscreen leaves a white cast, starts pilling, AND leaves chalky residues on your skin. I've used it with lotions, with oils, and on its own; no matter what, I look like I'm wearing a chalk mask afterwards, and my husband comments on how "pale" my skin looks.

I'm used to mineral based sunblocks being heavy. This glides on and helps moisturize.

pills up SO badly, clings to dry spots, gets almost powdery and gross, bad whitecast, dries up so fast by the time you're applying to the second half of your face it's nearly impossible to apply. returning.

Light, non-greasy, sheer and doesn't cause breakouts.

It's light and cool, spreads easily, and definitely blocks the sun. I like the light blue color, you can just see it when applying then it fades away. I can't even tell I'm wearing it and the non-greasy finish means it's ideal under makeup.

Very smooth and feels great on my skin ! Not too heavy and great for outdoor biking ( sweat is no problem)

I bought this spf off of a recommendation. It has a nice feel but my goodness it is hard to blend and leaves a white cast. And I can't put it on my neck because it balls up. It's an ok body spf but I don't recommend it for the face.

So I will say, this has no visible white cast (at least for my light-medium skin tone) and I have sensitive skin and this also did not break me out. The issue comes that it dries so strangely on my skin! It would cling on my dry skin throughout the day and almost turn yellow? It was very weird. I use it on my hands and body and its fine there but I will not be repurchasing it.

(Oily/combo skin) More lotion than gel. It pills if I tried to rub it in, so to apply it, I mostly dabbed/tapped it all over my face. A tiny bit of white-cast but I solved it with a little setting spray. Doesn't smell like chemicals, which is a plus. I like it enough to use the entire bottle but now it's onto the next brand to try.

I love the consistency and it is non greasy but it pulls on my face no matter how many times I shake the bottle... so disappointed and I can't return it.

This was just a NO. It feels nice but as soon as you put it on it start to peel and pile on the skin.
Gabby from undisclosed
It's very light weight as you apply it which is nice but, throughout the day it flakes on your face.
Alisa from Philadelphia, PA
This sunscreen did not absorb easily on me, it pilled when I tried to rub it in, and generally just felt chalky and heavy. I have normal/combo skin. I'm disappointed because it's a nice size for the price but I would not purchase again.

This didn't feel like a gel spf. Was thick and much more creamy. I didn't find that i could spread it into my skin easily.

Love this stuff! Goes on smooth not thick and sticky. Smells great too!

I got this for free from Influenster, I love how easy it is to apply, and how it doesn't leave a white residue on the skin, i use it under my makeup and it works perfectly fine, i just wish it would have a higher SPF and also that it would last longer, since i wear it under makeup, i wouldn't be reapplying it every 40 minutes, so it makes me scared that my skin wont be protected. But if you are using it just to go to the pool then i think its good.

I'm so excited about this sunscreen. The blue color took me off guard at first but I didn't end up liking like a smurfs. It has a nice matte finish and doesn't feel heavy or clog my pores. I will take it to the beach next weekend and I'm sure it will be great there as well. I was looking for non- nano reef safe sunscreen and this was very economical for the value. Made my 47 yo face look good!
