great for pale ladies!

By Shan

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Face Powder:

I've been using this powder for over 10 years now. I'm super pale and struggled forever to find something that didn't make me look like an oompa loompa. I just need to cover up my dark circles with concealer and then swirl the powder over my face and I'm done!

Shocked... This broke me out!!!

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Face Powder:

When my face started breaking out I never considered It was this powder as I have successfully used PF Mineral Wear line with great success... When I purchased this they were out of my shade in the Talc Free Airbrush version so I chose this one instead. My skin started breaking out slowly and I thought It was hormone related... Well my period came and went and I was still breaking out and there was no end in sight. Cheeks, jawline, forehead, hairline... Everything from clogged pores to cystic. A week ago I decided to just wear my It Cosmetics CC cream to see if that would help and every morning my skin was noticeably better... A week later and my skin is finally back to normal! I am SO RELIEVED to have found the culprit. I see a lot of people love this and I'm glad It works for you but I wanted to take the time to write this for anyone with uber sensitive skin like me.

I do suggest tapping off the excess powder or your makeup looks kinda powdery. I have very light skin and its hard to find products that are light enough and Translucent Light works great!

        Awesome coverage for the price.

I'm olive tone (in between light and light/medium) and typically choose neutral color foundation. It's a constant struggle to color match even with professional help. Yet, somehow this powder matched my skin tone perfectly. I put a little Maybelline lconcealer in light, and the powder melts into my face. I look natural and flawless. It stays on pretty long for my normal to dry skin. The dry spots aren't as noticeable with this powder either. However, this powder is super messy so I would advise you tap the powder gently with a small powder brush, not a huge powder brush. Otherwise, you'll be eating powder. I will definitely repurchase!

I have used this brand powder for a long time now . I just bought a new one and it seems different than usual . It's very loose and makes a mess for a pressed powder . Gets all over the sink . I think I might have to try another brand .

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Face Powder:

I typically use the bronzer of this brand and love it for a summer glow. I was in the market for talc free, thought I would try it, but it is heavy and dare I say pasty. Not sure if this is because its mineral powder? I did not like the bare mineral products either if that helps. I tried using a puff to pat it in and blend but for some reason it makes the fine hairs on the face noticeable. Just an okay product, it did not keep my face oil free, but shiney within minutes and I don't consider my skin overly oily

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Face Powder:

I was really on the lookout for an everyday foundation. At the time I was having severe breakouts, I'm talking horrible painful cystic acne. Initially I started with Bare Minerals, which I used about six years ago and it was great. But this time it made my breakouts worse. I did some research and found that it contains talc! Which is not good for acne sufferers. So I picked this physicians formula powder up. Let me tell you...it's incredible. The coverage is so much better than bare minerals. You can definitely build the coverage with this powder. My skin can be dry and it doesn't make it look flaky. My Abe calmed down tremendously since using this. Please give this stuff a chance!!

I have very sensitive skin and can break out easily . I love this powder because it is very light weight and seems more like a sheer power. Beautiful matte look over foundation. Love this brand for being cruelty free. Will buy again.
