Comments about Parissa Microwaveable Warm Wax:

Loved it. I've used the hard wax before and my store was out of it so I tried this. I didn't think I would like it because using strips with other brands ha never worked out for me. I loved it at it was way easier and not as painful as the hard wax.

Comments about Parissa Microwaveable Warm Wax:

This was my first time waxing and it was more difficult than I expected. I'm not sure i did it right, tbh. The patches I did manage to wax were smooth, but the strips didn't get all the hair with one try. Maybe if you know what you are doing , it works better?

Comments about Parissa Microwaveable Warm Wax:

I've been waxing my own legs and bikini line for years, and this wax is far and away the best one I've ever used. I've previously tried Sally Hansen, Nad's, and Cirepil, but they all either didn't pull the hair off completely or caused irritation. Parissa Warm Wax applies smoothly and removes hair cleanly. I also love that it's cruelty free. The one downside is that the container is pretty small. I used 3/4 of the tub just for my bikini line and the front of my thighs. You would probably need two containers to do a full wax.

Comments about Parissa Microwaveable Warm Wax:

I warmed to the perfect temp, tried it on my are to make sure I wouldn't burn my face, however; the strips do not remove all of the wax and it still removed a little too much in the same spot on both sides of my face.

I suffer from PCOS and have major hair growth issues. I could no longer afford constant trips to the salon. After trying this product I am very happy with the results. It was simple, fast, and left no irritation. The oil it comes with works great. The only issue was it smells a little like a hot glue gun, but it isn't an issue. Will purchase again!

Comments about Parissa Microwaveable Warm Wax:

It worked so there's that. But if you got it at the temperature you needed it to go on smoothly it was too hot and runny and would drop. But if you let it cooler it was hard to put on and didn't pull all the hair out. I used it on my thighs. I have a combination of coarse and fine hair and it didn't do great with either. Had to go over areas multiple times.

Comments about Parissa Microwaveable Warm Wax:

I tried using Parissa wax a few years back and wasn't really happy until I finally stumbled upon this warm wax, which I have been using for about a year now pretty consistently. This wax is good for legs and bikini area, and I've even used it on my face and not had any bad reactions.
The only reason I gave this product 4 out of 5 stars is because I have not tried any other brand of wax (besides Sally Hanson strips for my upper lip area), and I feel like there might be better products out there for course hair and sensitive areas. Although for the price this is definitely worth it. I can make one container of the wax last a long time and the only thing I've found myself running out of is the strips but you can use the same strip multiple times if you're experienced with waxing to get the most uses out of them.
I use the parissa wax warmer as well.

I use it for arm, legs and underarms. It removes hair very well and quick. It can get messy if you dont know how to use. I use wax warmer for it. And after use oil does trick on skin. Try not to spill it on floor or sink it is hard to get off.

Our Parissa Warm Wax is NOT washable. It is an oil soluble wax which means you may use any type of soft oil to remove residual wax (canola, baby, coconut oil). Please use one of our Parissa Body Sugar waxes if you would like to use a washable wax and reuse the strips.

If you have very sensitive skin you may want to try out Parissa Sensitive Assorted Wax Strips for the face and bikini line or our Parissa Strip Free Hot Wax. This wax is great for shorter coarse hair in sensitive area like the face, underarms and bikini line.

Hi there, the Parissa Warm Wax is a little harder to use than the Parissa Wax Strips, but, if you're looking for amazon results it's worth it. All of our products come with detailed instructions including photos. :)

                          How do I use it?

Warm the Parissa Warm Wax in the microwave or on the Parissa Wax Warmer. Once warm, apply a thin layer with spatula provided in the direction of hair growth. Press on fabric strips provided. Zip off in the opposite direction of hair growth, parallel to skin. Do not pull straight up. Keep the skin taut. Technique can make all the difference. Parissa contact details are on the packaging, do not be shy, get in touch if you are having any trouble. Detailed photo instructions are included in the waxing kit, please read carefully. After waxing, remove any excess wax with oil.

More info on Parissa Warm Wax:

This complete kit has everything you need to remove coarse and stubborn hair for smoothness that lasts weeks longer than shaving. Microwaveable and super-effective Parissa Warm Wax removes unwanted coarse hair on legs, body, bikini and face. This is a professional quality oil-soluble wax, which means you would clean any wax residue off the skin with the Parissa Azulene Oil contained in your kit, or any other kind of oil, like baby oil or cooking oil, not with water. Dusting a fine layer of baby powder or cornstarch on the skin before applying wax can help to minimize ouch factor.

                          Parissa Waxing Tips:

The thinner you spread the product the better the results. Always pull strip back along itself in one quick movement. Do not peel or pull off slowly. The faster the strip is removed the better the results. Continually re-heat warm wax throughout process to maintain fluid honey consistency. Avoid all interruptions and delays during the waxing process. Previously shaved hair is strong and resistant. Wait two weeks or until hair is around 0.25 inches (0.5 cm) long before first use. In hot weather or when perspiring, apply talc or soft powder sparingly. Always press-on in direction of hair growth. Strip-off in opposite direction. To minimize discomfort, keep skin tight throughout treatment. Pull strip back along itself in one quick motion. Never peel off slowly. The faster the strip is removed the better the results. Do not apply wax more than once on the same area during any given treatment. Some redness is normal after waxing.

Hi Linds, yes you can use this container on the Parissa Wax Warmer :) The Warmer isn't like a stove-top element, it's putting out a gentle heat that is enough to warm the Parissa Warm Wax and safely melt our Parissa Hot Wax. That's also why it takes a good 20 minutes or longer for the wax to reach a nice honey consistency.
