Most Helpful Positive Review My little Secret
NO Product gets EVERYTHING off, but it gets whats needed. Although i suggest heating the wax up for a 1:45 instead of 1:30. And maybe get popsicle sticks to put the wax on. But other than that its a good product i think to use on your lip and eyebrows. ALSO my suggestion about the eyebrow stickers that come with, put them on and then take a powder dust it over your brows and take the sticker off, then when you wax, you can see what you want off :)
Most Helpful Critical Review Worst wax I've ever used
I've used quite a few types of wax to wax my eyebrows and this is quite possibly the worst one in existence. Right away when I open the box I see a problem. The little plastic stick that's supposed to have special ink on it that says 'ready' when you dip it in the hot wax already has the word 'ready' on it, straight out of the box. So I couldn't know when the wax was hot. The I put it in my normal microwave exactly as the instructions said. It said not to go over two minutes but at that time I could barely make even a scratch at the top of the wax. I had to go up to three and a half before I could crack the top with some force. Then when I mixed it I ended up with giant clumps where some wax was completely liquid and some was totally solid. When I go to put it on my face with the applicator it dripped everywhere. It got on the part of the eyebrow that wasn't supposed to be touched, had huge clumps all over the place, and I even had to cut off a few of my eyelashes because it dripped on their too but wouldn't come off. I went to pull it off and it took a while to get a good grip on the wax because it was stuck so hard on my face. Then when I go to tug hard just like it says it pulled off in clumps, making me pull over and over again. It was incredibly painful and I couldn't get any accuracy at all to make the brow shape that I wanted. Sure, it took the hair off, at the expense of half my face. Then I go to put on the supposed analgesic. It felt like an extremely watery lotion. It didn't sooth at all and I think it may have even irritated my skin. I will never use this product again and am throwing out my leftovers. I'll be going back to my old brand that actually works.

Save your self the money and don't buy this product. It doesn't work - doesn't remove hair and doesn't even stick to your face.

I bought this kit because I'm new to my city and I haven't found anyone who threads eyebrows. Then came the pandemic. Even if I did find someone, I would be terrified to allow them to thread my eyebrows in this crisis. I popped the container in the microwave pressed 90 seconds and nothing. Repeat, nothing. Repeat, nothing. Repeat, nothing. I forced the spatula into the wax and it wasn't even soft. I got out my sauce pan, added a little water then added a ceramic bowl with a little water and sat the wax container in ceramic bowl. Allowed it to come to a boil then removed the pan from the heat. After the wax began to soften, I popped it back in the microwave. Bravo! This DID NOT COME WITH TWEEZERS which was disappointing because I opted out of purchasing tweezers under the pretense some were included. After all of the shenanigans, it proved to be a great hair remover but the journey there...
Best at home wax kit!!

This wax is easy to spread and is so satisfying to rip off, without really hurting. Very nice to have between (or instead of) professional waxes!
Waste of time and money
Sandi from Waco, TX
I use other Sally Hansen products and have always been happy. I assumed this product would replace the Nair strips I use. I did find that it pulled the shorter hairs better but the effort to get the results was too time consuming. It just isn't worth the effort. I bought it today at Ulta in Waco and just threw it in the trash after I used it. It's not even worth the effort to return.
I would NEVER buy this again
Angry Ape from WA
This product was horrible. I microwaved it just like the instructions and it was rock solid. When I added more time to the microwave, it burnt the plastic and got wax all over the plate I was using and practically everything else in the kitchen. It smelled horrible because of the plastic and I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it would remove the hair. Nope. It did nothing with my hair. It's just a waste of money.
No no no

Bought this a few months back and took forever to melt and when I tried to use it cooled so fast would not spread. Decided to try again and it will not melt, thought might be expired but is good till 9/2020. Very disappointed since I have trouble seeing when trying to tweeze was hoping is would work.
Don't waste your money

There is nothing good about this product. Will NEVER buy again. Could get about 2 little swipes done before it had to be reheated.
I would not buy it again

This was a waste of money. I wish I could rate it zero stars. Not one strand of eyebrow hair was lifted.
Horrible from New York
I only bought this bec of the tweezers but I didn't get them with the kit so what do I need this for lol
Dns from Iowa
I put the container in the microwave and it melted the container! Do not put in microwave! Wax got all over my stove top!!!
Babygirl from Ny
Thought this would be a great buy since I couldn't go get my eyebrows waxed, not worth the money. No tweezer, had to keep reheating the wax because it would dry up quickly while waxing, however it did somewhat of a good job shaping my brows. Only good for once use, better off buying wax strips.
Best product for face waxing!

I have tried so many different hair removal methods and this wax kit even beats the salon for upper lip waxing. It's no mess, super effective, quick and easy! Love it!
Single Use, Better Options Available
Christina from NJ
Okay, so in the grand scheme of things it did work to remove my unwanted hair. It was gentle enough, no complaints there. But I'm also no novice to self waxing. Here are my issues:
1. Where were my tweezers? None in the box.
2. No more than 2 minutes in the microwave?? Okay, it was closer to 5 before I could actually stir the wax.
3. I had to re-heat 4 times in the course of 10 minutes.
4. It got so clumpy the spatula was practically useless after the 4th or 5th time I used it to pick up wax.
5. After re-heating so many times half the wax wouldn't even soften anymore, so I literally used it one time and had to throw the rest out.
Definitely better options available. I bought two more kits to try next time.

Says no longer then 2 minutes did not melt after 3 1/2 minutes still barely liquid. In the center finally got some melt and you still could not use it would not spread and when you did get some very little to spread did not adhere to the hair so no hair removal
Dianna from Philadelphia, PA
Used for my lip and works great. Only needed to heat it for 60 seconds. I did not receive tweezers with it though.
Works. No tweezers.
Kat from Milwaukee, WI
There were definitely no tweezers and its not even listed as included on the box. But the kit works as expected. I did have to keep warming it up as it seemed to cool too fast...or maybe I just didn't warm it up enough to begin with. It did remove the eyebrow hair pretty easily.

I bought this product today. Came home read the directions (because I had never used any home waxing products before) and proceeded to heat it up. The directions say 90 seconds. After about 5 minutes Zi could finally stir the wax. After about 6 minutes I thought it was finally good to go. I applied it to my upper lip as directed & yanked it off. It pulled at the hairs but they didn't come out. I tried the other side thinking I had screwed up somehow but still no luck. I tried my chin & side burns but none of them worked. i am very disappointed. It took a lot of working up to to attempt this, and it was all for nothing. I pitched the entire thing in the trash,
Waste of Money
AnnaC from Indianapolis, IN
This stuff is garbage and an absolute waste of money. I tried heating it up multiple times and half of it never melted. The second I tried to even scoop it, it almost instantly hardened. The plastic stick that was supposed to tell me when the wax was ready wouldn't work either. I'll never buy this kit again.
Marich from St. Louis
I was excited to use this. I read and followed direction. Started with 30, 60 secs - noticed the bottom of container started to melt. Put them back on the box so i can return to the store. Thought of giving it one more try - 30 secs add another 30 secs -same. I add another 30 secs - the wax started to become soft but the bottom container continue to peel and melt. Returning to the store!
I would Skip this one
Salt075 from KC, MO
It's hard to melt it properly, it cools super quick. But it does get a decent amount of hair off the lip area, if you apply a good layer a time or 2 ..I would skip the eyebrows though, it's a hassle and if it's too thin makes it harder to remove
Harris from Niagara Falls NY
I purchased this kit last week. Tried to use it today. Microwaved the 90 seconds as directed. Couldnt break through wax so did 15 seconds at a time in the microwave. Did not go over the 2 minute limit. Could barely break through the wax & couldnt stir it. Let it cool & tried again. Did have melting but wax was getting hard as I stirred. Returning this to store. Will not buy again.
Saves you $15 for eyebrows. And works perfect!!
Yaya from Paso robles
Heats up in about two minutes.
Eyebrow guides help Alot! Although I wish the guides where more than just stickers.
Spatula disappearing ink helps you know when the wax is ready to use. It's awesome.
It doesn't hurt at all. And my results lasted 10 days. And it's cheap. Totally worth it though. It doesn't leave redness
Ty from Fayettville, Arkansas
Disappointed, not much in the jar,it didn't melt completely after trying 4 times. Plus there were no tweezers in the box like it shows in this picture.
Disappointed in this product. There wasn't much in the jar.
Ty from Arkansas
There wasn't much in the jar & it took a long time to melt, it still didn't melt completely.
