Most Helpful Positive Review Love this! I purchased this foundation a few weeks ago in the shade "Vanilla" since it is described to be a "light" shade foundation. I am the shade "light" in IT Cosmetics CC cream and the "Vanilla" shade from Elcie was wayyyy too dark for me! So I returned it and purchased the shade "Cameo" and let me tell you, this is a perfect match for my skin tone! I love the finish and the wear of this foundation so much. It is the perfect summer foundation for a natural look with buildable to full coverage. I just feel like the website could improve by providing swatches of these shades on skin so consumers could get an idea of their color (the thumbnails when choosing your shade aren't the most accurate). If you are "Light" in IT Cosmetics, buy Cameo. If you are "Medium" in IT Cosmetics, buy Vanilla.
Most Helpful Critical Review Accentuates texture and clings to dry patches I wanted to like this for how comfortable it feels, but it has too many issues on my skin. It emphasized every bit of texture I've got and clings to dry patches. I had issues with it settling into pores, and as the day went on it broke apart along my smile lines and forehead lines. By the 10 hour mark, it went from looking dry and a bit dehydrated to looking greasy, and my skin generally does not produce enough oil to affect my makeup (normal to dry). Most product was worn away or gunked up around movement areas by the 10 hour mark. You can see close-ups in my review on youtube (geek out of water). If you're not dealing with texture issues or dry skin, this might work for you, but on dry, mature skin, it was a no-go for me. I had the same problems with the concealer, unfortunately. In terms of color, the lightest shade Porcelain is not very fair. It is almost an exact match to the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place in 1C1 Cool Bone. I'm usually mid to dark in the "fair" range of most foundations. This shade was a very good match for me, but if you're more pale, it will likely be too dark.

Literally the best! 5

I've never felt such good quality before. Right away you can feel that there was a lot of thought/time put into making this product. Great look/coverage/feel!
Fairest isn't fair enough. 3
Tay from Las Vegas
I purchased the lightest shade and I believe fair is the wrong way to describe it. For reference, wear 1N1 in the Estée Lauder Double wear, but the first shade in this foundation was way too dark for me. It came off really orange, despite being described as neutral, and I wasn't able to blend it out. I was so upset because I had been wanting to try this for years.
Best foundation ever 5

Super flawless in person and on camera, always get compliments on my skin when I am wearing this. When I am tan I use Natural and when I'm light I use vanilla and mix them
Love the formula, not the colors 3
Ampupthevamp from USA
I really wanted to love this foundation. It goes on smoothly, but that is where it stops. Within 2 hours it oxides and leaves a an ugly orange tint. It does not hold up for more than 5 hours. There are also limited color options. The neutral is more of a warm.
Love this foundation! 5

I finally found a foundation that completely covers my imperfections without making me look cakey. For long lasting glowing beautiful foundation mix 1 pump of this foundation with Elcie Glow Enhancer drops. You will love it. You're welcome.

Best I've Found 5

I followed Lilit and Elcie on Insta for a while and watched several video's with MUA's using the product line and thought I'd jump in. BEST DECISION i have made with makeup. Honestly I don't have one complaint with any of their products. I bought almost the entire line and am still waiting for a flaw to show up. I am so please with coverage and how long it wears. and its so light weight. I have extremely sensitive skin and have rosacea and have had no issues at all plus it covers my red with ease. I'm a semi fair skin with neutral undertone and the Cameo is perfect.
Darker than expected 1

I am a huge fan of Lilit and bought the foundation not only to support her but also because I believed her product would live up to expectations. Not the case. I bought the shade Vanilla after carefully reading the chart on her website and the swatches in her story. When I applied the foundation is was great but after an hour my face looked like it was really tan. Since I was at work I couldn't really do anything about it or wipe it off so I was stuck looking the way I did. I haven't touched the bottle since that day and wasted my money. If you want to try the foundation please get a shade lighter than what it says on the chart. I bought the glitter oil as well and the golden lining on the cap broke so I can't use that bottle anymore either.
Terrible! 1

The shade range is awful. It oxidizes. Just a reminder Charlotte Tilbury's collection is $2 less and has 43 shades...
Foundation Runs Darker Than Described 3
Pachhhhh from Waseca, MN
I bought the shade 'Sand' which is described as a Light Medium. The foundation is definitely at least one shade darker than I was expecting, I could even go possibly two shades lighter. I was only able to try on the foundation twice before making my return, the shade was just too off. I would have loved to exchange it for a lighter shade, however, I would not have been eligible to getting my exchange product at the discounted rate. From my very short usage of the foundation, it was nothing amazing nor life changing. If I had it, I would use it up. I would not recommend because i think you can get better foundations from other brands (drugstore and high end).
MUST HAVE!!! 5

Great Coverage, easy to apply, last all day. Highly Recommend!!!
Five stars, but definitely does oxidize 5
Alex from Chicago
I love everything about this foundation- the coverage, the finish, the feeling of It... I highly recommend this foundation for combination skin, because It truly is a dream. However, know that It will absolutely oxidize, thus it turns about 2 shades darker throughout the day. Also, this foundation runs very warm toned- even for the neutral shades. I definitely would recommend It, but I would also recommend going with a shade or two lighter so It does match your skin throughout the day! :)
Bomb, my new favorite foundation 5
Rubynetta from Bay Area, CA
I work in the industry and god knows I'm a makeup junkie. I've tried a lot of brands and was excited to see Ulta carry this. I took a chance and ordered Warm Ivory and couldn't be happier. I wear my makeup for 13-16 hours a day and looks as flawless as when I first put it on at 9AM. I also use the Elcie concealer with it. It doesn't oxidize for me. I have dry eczema prone skin and on my dry patches still looks like skin.
It oxidizes 1
Isabella from Los Angeles CA
This foundation looks beautiful when you put it on and then a few hours later it looks dull and darker! Used it on a special occasion and when I looked myself in the mirror a few hours later my face looked like 3 shades darker! I was mortified! It was not a good experience to see my face like that! I wanted to wash it off right there and go for the rest of the event bare face but I couldn't! I just used a lot of powder in top to try make it look better but still it did not look ok! Returned the next day!
oxidize to orange 1
Shumaila from CT
This foundation is too drying. I had dry patches on certain spots. The foundation also oxidized like crazy to orange. It's going back!
shade range is not good 3
jewels from RI
i recently tried this foundation. I am a warm/yellow undertone. I can sometimes get away with a neutral undertone, therefore decided for the vanilla. Once again, i can get away with it but it does lean a bit darker too. I think it oxidized just a bit. It goes on really nice and lasts for a long time. I would prefer it for special occasions but not for everday. Looked and felt a bit heavy, although not initally. it has nice coverage and is easy to apply. A small amount covers well but i do like light coverage to begin with. Minimal transfer. Because the tone is off i will return. Maybe if the shade was a better match i would keep trying it out more
Shade Vanilla 5

I'm a NC 30 in Mac, fenty 260, and Huda 300N the vanilla shade is perfect for my skin tone. It is full coverage but it looks like it is my skin not cakey at all. I look glowy and radiant with this foundation. My skin type of dry skin and sometimes oily in my T-zone
Beautiful 5
Marlene from San Francisco
This foundation makes you look flawless, it's full coverage so is not a every day foundation in my opinion, it's for special occasions when you want to go full glam and to make the foundation a star you really need to contour highlight and blush then you'd look like a bride. I love it.

I was a little hesitant because the color looked really light. I went with it abc rubbed all over my face. It looks flawless.
Great coverage 5

This builds well and has amazing coverage. I have combination skin and this did the job!
Needs a bigger shade range 5

Got this foundation in the lightest shade but it's still way too dark for me. I loved it but wish they had a bigger shade range!
Not for Cool / Pink Undertones 1
MissyMeeps from NY
Redheads and pale pinkies beware- If you are a fair cool undertone this entire shade range is NOT for you. This line does not have cool undertones - only neutrals - so I went with the fairest neutral shade hoping for the best - it was WAY too yellow. Left an awkward gold-orangey cast. The formula is very luminous and does not dry down so if you want that that dewey look and do not plan to powder much this is a good one for you. Just wish the undertones were more inclusive.
One of the best 5

Thank you Jaclyn Hill for introducing me to this foundation. Even though I already knew about it through Lilit, I didn't try it until Jaclyn Hill recommended it and I absolutely looooove it! Love all of Lilit's products I've tried so far from her brand. Great quality at a fair price point.
