Comments about Burt's Bees Micellar Water Towelettes:

These are by far my favorite makeup wipes from the Burt's Bee line!! I'm pretty picky with my makeup wipes & I never write reviews but I LOVE these! They made my face feel so clean afterwards. I used the wipe and rinsed my face with water and my skin feels better than ever. I personally think they smell good!

Comments about Burt's Bees Micellar Water Towelettes:

I do not recommend this product.
Short and simple: Did not nearly remove any makeup from my face, also felt chemically and strong. Don't understand why if nothing came off my face. Invest maybe in their other one's or a different brand.

Long story: I ran out of makeup wipes and I decided to invest in a new brand. This was my first time trying this brand of makeup wipes, and since I love burt's bee's chapstick I thought why not. I've only used aveeno and the neutrogena wipes. I hated the neutrogena wipes because they just smelt like chemicals, were rough on my eyes, and just did not sooth my skin so I decided to stick with aveeno. Well I ran out of them and decided to mix it up. Maybe I just picked the wrong makeup wipe, but this one was definitely the wrong choice. Before buying a product I usually read reviews online. I'm just trying to help you guys out here like other's help me decide. Now I won't completely trash the product, it did remove some makeup off my face, however, not enough and not well.

Comments about Burt's Bees Micellar Water Towelettes:

The orig/reg BB wipes with Tea Tree Oil irritates my skin and makes it red. These wipes are amazing. They also remove waterproof mascara without any irritation. I'm not sure if I got a bad package but I noticed these wipes are dryer than the other BB wipes and there's really no smell them.

You get used to the smell

          By Caley

Comments about Burt's Bees Micellar Water Towelettes:

I'll admit, when I first tried these, I found the smell disgusting and it was too harsh on my sensitive skin. I didn't want to waste my money so I stuck it out and kept using them and I'm glad I did. I like the smell now (kindof citrusy and tropical) and my face got used to the formula and looks better than ever now. For those of you having trouble getting your makeup off I suggest getting the full size water so you can remoisten the wipe or cotton pad occasionally because it does evaporate quickly, like polish remover.

          other reviews are lies.

Comments about Burt's Bees Micellar Water Towelettes:

y'all the smell is NOT BAD. truthfully it doesn't have much of a smell. the other burt's bees wipes scents are much stronger. I really enjoy these wipes. they're gentle on the skin, take off almost all my makeup with one single wipe and they are not overly saturated. these are good wipes, if you are so afraid of the smell just go to the store and smell them yourself.

          Smell is not that horrible!

          By Marcianna

          from Texas

Comments about Burt's Bees Micellar Water Towelettes:

I received a full sized pkg of these wipes in a beauty sub & was afraid to try them bc of all of the reviews stating the horrific scent here on Ulta. These DO NOT smell nearly as bad as people make them out to be so unless you are just super sensitive to scents imo you will live & be able to use these wipes. They are not oozing wet but are moist enough to remove makeup that is not too heavily applied. I don't think they are great at removing mascara or heavy eyeliner but they are ok. I personally will probably use them to wipe my semi-dirty makeup free face clean before applying skincare or makeup. I have very sensitive skin (rosacea) and these did not cause any immediate reactions so that's a plus. Would I purchase once these freebies run out? Prob not just bc I feel there are other wipes that do a better job. If you are a Burts Bees fan you may enjoy these wipes but they do come in other scents if all the negative comments re scent have turned you off to this scent. I personally think they smell like white cypress but not too heavy & not like house cleaner. Be your own judge.

          Love It!!

Comments about Burt's Bees Micellar Water Towelettes:

The smell really doesn't bother me, but I see why people are put off by it. These are the only face wipes I have been able to use that don't burn around my eyes and that includes other Burt's Bees products. So I will keep buying them!!

          The smell is worth it

          By Cristy

          from Ummm

Comments about Burt's Bees Micellar Water Towelettes:

I typically use the Sensitive wipes by Burt's Bees but I decided to give these a try since it claims to have micellar water. The first time I used the wipes I hated the smell, but omg it took most of my makeup off. With the sensitive wipes I would use about 3 to take off ALL of my makeup. I use 2 MAX but maybe only one. The smell is bad but bearable. These wipes also have a different texture to the others. The wipes seem to be thicker. It also didn't irritate my skin whatsoever. They're worth it to me.

Comments about Burt's Bees Micellar Water Towelettes:

These wipes are just okay. They weren't wet enough to take off all of my makeup. They don't have a great smell either- it isn't terrible but not great. They are a good idea for cleaning up makeup/eyeliner/ etc., but there are better alternatives for cleaning your face at night. I suggest the Neutrogena hydrating wipes.

As soon as I put this product on my face I broke out into a rash. Didn't even remove makeup from my face and left my face dry & irritated. They smell like trash
