Most Helpful Positive Review Something to cut through tarte's mascara I love Tarte's lights, camera lashes mascara and the maneater mascara. I also wear the shape tape foundation. I have tried three different makeup remover and always end up with raccoon eyes the next day! Ugh! It never seems to get all of the makeup off. Note I don't buy waterproof mascara either. I saw this in the store and picked it up to try. I finally can't get all the mascara and foundation off! This stuff is very gentle on the face. Easy to wipe across the eyes for removal. The bottle is nice because you put the cotton ball right on it and press. It depresses all onto the cotton ball. 4 stars because it didn't full remove my eyeliner, but I don't wear eyeliner enough that it was a big deal.
Most Helpful Critical Review Not for the sensitive ones This really caught my eye and I actually tracked it down to a store near me with store locater to get it, which usually I don't go to stores for one specific product. I was sick of using makeup wipes and was looking for a greener way to remove makeup, this is on a clean list ( clean ingredients,) so I figured it'd be perfect for me. I usually go for "clean," products because they're easy on my skin and don't strip me of my natural oils and leave me feeling sore, so I was really sad when this did exactly that. The bottle is so nice, but it burns my eyes and when I used it to remove face makeup my face was left very sore and almost chapped. Not to mention it goes very quickly, you have to use a lot of product to get off a normal amount of makeup. It smells a bit earthy, like lake water I think. I don't mind that but when it's burning your eyes off the smell can be bothersome. It does it's job, it gets makeup off and doesn't leave an oily residue, but for me it left me dry and stinging. My face hurt to touch, felt almost raw. I just feel like that can't be good for my skin and eyes, nothing about it feels natural at all. If you have sensitive skin, especially eyes, just be a little cautious

I was blown away at the multi-use of this cleanser/makeup remover. Feels amazing on my skin and the bottle was bigger than I thought.
I like the pump 3
WiMama from Madison WI
I'm on the fence about this product. It has a pump dispenser which I actually liked. The smell of the product is strange; kind of earthy but doesn't really have any heavy fragrance ingredients. I used it after my face wash to remove remaining makeup and it was effective. But it did sting a little so I would rinse it off after use. I used it all but would not repurchase. I did save the bottle because I liked the pump!

This is probably the best micellar water I've tried. I don't wear a lot of makeup (foundation, sometimes mascara, not waterproof) but it does an excellent job removing it. I like that it doesn't leave a sticky film on my face.
Rip-off 1
Awful product from United States
Use the miceller water by garnier or if you really want to go fancy use the bioderma sensibo micellar water.
NO 1

One star for the cute packaging. Zero stars for the product. Smells very harsh, almost like alcohol and it BURNS. Doesn't do a very good job of removing makeup either. Disappointed.
disappointed 3

i hated everything about it! first the way you have to pump it, I think it would be better to just pour it. and to top it off it felt like I was removing my makeup with water and my make up was not water proof.
Burns like crazy 1

I have sensitive skin but this here turned me into a tomato and it burned my whole face like no other product i have used before
Burned my face 1
Nicki from Mississippi
This is the only micellar cleanser that has ever burned my skin. It stung for several minutes after a light application.
The dispenser is fantastic 4
ChristineMB from PA
Every micellar water should use this dispenser: it's so easy. That being said I don't think this product is any better than others I've used, such as Garnier.
Life saver! 5

Let me start by saying that I have always been a fan of Tarte cosmetics. I have, however, found a brand new appreciation for this product. I recently did my Halloween makeup and when I tell you that none of it came off in the shower, I mean none of it. This product was literally my saving grace keeping me from walking around with all of these pink lines stained on my face!
I like the bottle! 4

I got this in my BoxyCharm and have used all the product and imo, not much different than the rest. But....I will continue to use the container again and again for any other micellar water I do buy because it's so handy!
Great makeup remover 4
Luna from Houston, TX
It removes my makeup pretty good but i do however need more than two cotton swabs but overall i do like this product and will continue to use.
not great for mascara removal 3

got this in a boxycharm, I've only used twice, but the Garnier with the pink lid is so much better. o dont understand the purpose of this, it doesnt even budge my non-waterproof mascara

I recently received this in my boxycharm. I absolutely love how gentle it is on my sensitive eyes while being tough on my waterproof mascara. I didn't even bother finishing my previous brand micellar water.
Love it and it's cute 5

I love micellar water, it works so well for removing make up after a long day or for playing with make up. Plus I mean I could buy any brand but I swear by TARTE!
I don't even have sensitive skin and it burns 2
Taylor from Tacoma, wa
Got this in my boxy charm. I don't have sensitive skin at all but there is a slight burn sensation when I use it. Not painful. Just very slight discomfort. strangest thing and honestly doesn't take off my mascara.
Not for waterproof mascara 3
Julia from Alabama
This is great for face and lip makeup but it doesn't remove waterproof mascara like it says. For reference I have combo/oily skin and this doesn't make me greasy or dry me out.

I got this in my boxy charm and I was excited because I wanted to try miceller water as a cleanser because I had been using make up remover wipes and I heard that those are bad for your skin so I did enjoy this however I like the garnier bottle better because you can squirt it on the pad instead of the pump that the tarte one has and I feel it is more sanitary to squirt it rather than pump it and the pump on the tarte bottle gets the water all over it .. if that makes sense lol
This will forever be my go to makeup remover! 5
Ashley from Banks, Oregon
This is perfect as a makeup remover. With makeup wipes, they are often times so dry you need 3-5 to remove a full face of makeup. However, with this product I was pleasantly surprised to find that with only ONE cotton round/pad and three pumps of the Tarte Micellar Magic, it took away a full glam look; mascara, eyebrows, and all!
burns 3

Weird smell 3
Mac from Dover ky
I got this in my boxycharm. It gets all the makeup off but it burns my eyes really bad and I always notice a really weird smell. Like mildewy smell.
Love it 5
Tdiaz from Chicago
It works really awesome! Leaves my face super clean and hydrated. It does burn on the eyes very little if you let it get in your eye. Just shut ur eye tight like you should with any product.
It does clean makeup but burns my face 3
BeautyDoll from California
I like that it does remove all makeup but it burns my skin i feel this burning sensation for a few minutes and i do not have sensitive skin only dry skin, i don't think i will repurchase because of that not sure if has alcohol on it
