Most Helpful Positive Review Very pretty
I don't wear much makeup at all (I'm a new stay at home mom) and this eyeshadow is perfect for every day wear for me. I have the color "breakdance" and it looks great with my brown eyes. I don't use the applicator to apply the eyeshadow, I just dab it on my fingers and pat it on and it looks great. Have gotten a lot of compliments on it. I definitely see how this could make for a gorgeous Smokey eye for going out at night. Sometimes I pat a dab of ulta's Lustrous Foil eyeshadow on top if I want a little more bold sparkle, but otherwise this with some eyeliner and mascara and I'm good to go. Lasts all day but does get a tiny but creased by the end of the day. I can't tell unless I'm looking at it up close in the mirror though.
Most Helpful Critical Review Burned my eyes :(
I love Stila's shimmer liquid shadows and figured I'd try something similar that's quite a bit cheaper. Some of the Ulta brand makeup actually ends up being better than the higher-end makeup for me, and some falls short. This was definitely one that fell short. I have never had makeup cause any physical pain or even discomfort, ever. I don't have sensitive eyelids at all. This hurt! As I was putting it on I was intending on rating this probably at about a 3 maybe 4 depending on wear time. It's not crazy pigmented, but workable. Well about 15 minutes after getting done with my look, my eyelids were burning and stinging! I was confused for a minute or two wondering why my eyes were burning before it clicked that it had to be the shadow. I immediately removed with a makeup wipe which was also incredibly painful. Once it was off and I fanned my eyes a bit to cool them off and dry them off, I felt completely back to normal. Based on reviews, this doesn't look like it happens to the majority of people, but please beware just in case! If it doesn't burn your eyes, you're getting a decent, workable product, but it's nothing compared to Stila in my opinion.

I have previously purchased and LOVED Ulta brand cream eye shadows. As in, I've worn them for 8 hours of Christmas Eve church services in front of 5,000 people while live-broadcast on the internet. I was looking forward to a new color! But instead of a doe-foot applicator, this one is more 3D diamond shaped. It's much more difficult to use, and harder to make a precise shape with it. I plan to practice more, and maybe put product on the back of my hand, then apply it to my eyelid. But I'm sad because I liked the previous applicator much better. The formula itself is lovely, and wears all day (I have such hooded eyes, too!).

I won't buy this again. Its way too shiny and greasy feeling.

I do not recall ever having a sensitive skin or allergic reaction to makeup (aside from acne breakouts), but this made my eyelids burn!! At first I didn't really realize what was going on when I felt my eyelids burning/stinging about an hour after applying. Then they really started to burn by hour 2 and I looked in the mirror and remembered I had this new eyeshadow on. I immediately wiped off and rinsed with cool water but the stinging was really bad and lasted another hour or so. I will be returning this and hope I never come into contact with whatever the ingredients are in this stuff again!
This is my favorite

Lasts all day and looks great. Easy to apply
Decent cream shadow

I was looking for a cream eye shadow and this was the only decent one I could find at the actual Ulta store so I nabbed it in both Vintage Beauty (dark taupe) and Materialistic (dark bronze). I've only worn the Materialistic shade this far and it looks really good on. There's not a lot in the tubes though so I imagine it'll run out after about 10-15 uses. I don't really love the applicator wand either. It's got a kind of stiff and to it, as opposed to a softer felt tip that I would have hoped for. Other than that, for the price, you really can't beat it. I wish they had more shades.
Beautiful but not great for oily skin
ReggieO from UT
I was looking for a cream shadow with more gold, since the Ulta Cream Shadow/Liner stick were just changed and one of my favorite gold colors is no longer available. I decided to give these a try. I think if my skin weren't so oily, they'd be great! The colors are beautiful too! I'll be going back to the Ulta Cream Shadow/Liner since they work so well with my oily skin. Can we get the Smart Cookie color back, please!!!?

The color pay off sucks, but I'll use it because it gives the slightest color or I can use it as a base. Doesn't burn or irritate at all. Just really lacks any color, which is a bummer because it looks like it'll be a gorgeous color.
Decent Liquid Shadow
Marla from Maryland
I think this is a good shadow for someone starting out with makeup, but it's not that great. I have the taupe colored one and it is really pretty blended out on the eye with a brush for a single shadow look. I really like the color, but the applicator is too large, it has the potential to streak, and it slightly burns when you put it on. Overall, for the price it's okay, but I'd recommend trying another brand.

I recently bought the Metallic cream eyeshadow in Beige metallic shimmer and I'm really impressed! Beautiful color that's not too glittery, just a soft shimmer. Lasts all day and so easy to apply. I plan to buy the other shades too. These liquid eyeshadows are perfect on the go. I keep this in my bag for work. Great new find. I'd like to try the matte shades too
doesn't last long
Gigi from Portland, OR
I find that this eyeshadow either creases very quickly, or gets wiped away easily. The formula doesn't dry down fully and sometimes gets clumpy.
Burns lid after application
Kendra from Seattle
I wear cream shadows very regularly because the pigmentation & finish tends to show up well on camera. While I am a daily makeup wearer in general, I do not EVER remember having an immediate allergic reaction to any product. Sadly I tried this shadow in silver over my usual lid primer (ulta brand) and OMG did it burn my lids like CRAZY! Started as an itch not long after it dried down & just from the 20 minutes it was on, my eyelids ended up looking like I had a severe sunburn; turning bright red & both stinging/burning long after removal. We're talking bright red irritation that lasted a solid 24hrs even with allergy meds. Scared me so much that I threw out the red metallic I had purchased as well without trying it on from fear of going through that ordeal a second time.
As someone who has NEVER had an immediate allergic reaction to anything in her life, I would 100% avoid this line of eye shadow. Is the color and finish nice? Yes. Is the risk of severe irritation worth trying this line of products? Absolutely not!

For the price it is really good, it was water proof for the most part obviously you couldn't go to the pool with it but if you got squirted or something it would hold up. It dries fast and lasts long the only problem was that it rubbed off easy. Overall good product!
Like product, applicator awful
Nickel from Wisconsin
Really like how it stays on, doesn't clumpnin creases.
Stings after applying
Jessica from Riverside, CA
The color is good and goes on well but began stinging my eyelids 10-15 minutes after applying. Unfortunately won't be purchasing any more colors.

I swipe color on my eyelid and blend with my fingers. It's a beautiful subtle glow, I just love it~

After applying this (which went on pretty smoothly), my eyelids started burning. After taking it off, my eyelids are now bright red and they still burn.
Pretty and not sticky

I like this item I would probably buy more of them in different colors also however it does slightly burned my eyelids for second and then it goes away....
Yes! Great product!
Tracy from Great falls montana
Applicator is thick and a bit hard to get out, but formula stays put. I have very oily eyelids and because of that use primer also, but works great!
difficult to apply- waste of money

love cream to shadow eyeshadow but this is a really cheap version
Would not recommend

Was looking for a new cream/liquid eyeshadow in a tube to replace one I loved that was discontinued. Even with primer it creased. Will be returning.
Easy & Very Pretty!

I bought the shade Breakdance, it's soooo pretty!!! My first application was sloppy, I added a little to much but got the hang of it quickly. A little bit does go a long way which means it'll last you a while, blends out with ease and dries fast and doesn't budge until you take it off. I plan to try the other colors and would love colors, hopefully they add some soon!
amo411 from TN
It really is a very light tan/gray. Put a few dots on your eye crease, then use your pinky finger to smooth and distribute. Super quick, very easy.
love this product!
amo411 from TN
Love this product. A few dots on your eyelid crease and rub in with brush or finger. Light color, lasting, doesn't crease as day goes on.
