Most Helpful Positive Review My New Go To!!!
I have seen some of the negative reviews. I almost didn't get this. I saw how people said that it left a white cast, white spots, made skin dry and foundation looked powdery. So, I bought it anyways. I am in love. I always press my setting spray into my skin with a dry beauty blender. By doing this I don't see any white cast or white dots. And when it comes to making the skin dry and foundation powder...uhm...it's a mattifying setting spray. What else were people expecting? I don't like the dewy look. This so far has been the only thing that has kept my oils at bay for more than a couple hours. I actually wore this for 13 hours a few days ago. I had a long day at work (I'm a cosmetologist) and it was pretty stressful and hot. There was still no oils to be found and my makeup looked as good as it did when I first applied it.
Most Helpful Critical Review Such A Disappointment
Morphe's setting spray is my absolute favorite, so when I saw they made a Matte formula I was thrilled! The first few uses were ok (the nozzle sprayed me like a garden hose, but I could deal) but then the product started gunking up the nozzle. No matter what I did and how much I cleaned the nozzle, the first "spray" would shoot a glob of product right on my face, which usually resulted in that patch of my makeup underneath to get wiped away. Even after the glob issues, for some reason this product would turn into little crusty white specks that felt like sand on my face, which is something I have NEVER experienced with any other setting spray I've ever tried. Literally the only thing I liked about this product is the fragrance. The scent reminds me of a freshly cut open watermelon, which is refreshing and lovely!
I'll be willing to try this product again if Morphe reformulates it and/or fixes the nozzle issues, but I'll just stick with Morphe's Original setting spray from now on!

I wish i could give this 0 stars. Do not recommend at ALL. I should of read the reviews before wasting my money on this :( Doesn't even spray anything, just little white liquid comes out like ?????? Morphe definitely failed with this one it's saddening
Poor nozzle design!
Mary from Texas
The mist does not mist at all! It only leaves white specks on your face. Disappointed.
Needs a different application
Lala from Maryland
THIS STUFF IS GREAT; however- the spray container gets clogged at about 50% capacity. It then comes out very thick. MORPHE this stuff works great! But please figure out how to change the application! I am so oily and I've never found something that works as well as this!
IT FOAMS UP???
berf from chicago
this mist is so weird. when u spray it on ur face it literally leaves a sticky feeling on your face and if it gets on your hair it will make ur hair sticky too. recently i realized little foams around the tip and when i sprayed it into the lid continuously it looked like shaving foam. never ever buy
Waist of money .

Sprays out white stuff and they just get stuck to your face
I was so excited to try this..
Nicole from Eunice, NM
The way it comes out is horrible. I love the original setting mist, but wanted to try this mattifying one cause I have oily skin. It leaves big clumps of spray on your face and comes out too aggressively. Hopefully Morphe fixes this.. I'll be sticking with the regular setting mist for now.
Keeps me matte!

I spray my face to prep for makeup and spray after finishing. My makeup stays put all day and this keeps my oily t-zone matte all day, way better than the original spray!

I haven't used many setting sprays but after using and emptying this setting spray I know I'll be buying another can ASAP!
DO NOT BUY
Paty from Los Angeles
Used it once and go back to use it again and it does not work. Bought it twice and does the same thing they need to change the way it comes in.
Not Worth the buy
Meca from Texas
I purchased this because I've loved the original. Unfortunately I am a very oily person. I wanted something that would help me control oils. First the product comes out as a thin slime type substance. After doing my full face I don't want white particles all over me and in the front of my hair. Secondly, the smell is a cucumber mint type scent. Which for me does not go away. It's like perfume for the face. After having to use a beauty blender to blend out the spray it finally dried. My skin is left a little tighter than I like. I won't be repurchasing this item and will look for a different setting spray to control oil. I am sticking to the original at the moment. Hopefully they can reformulate this one so that it can actually work.
Works all day!

First time trying the matte spray. I usually use the black spray. I prefer this new one. I really love the matte look and it feels like it last longer. I never had to touch up
Love this Spray!
MektheMUE from New York
I spray this on my damp beauty blender and set my t zone to prevent oil build up throughout the day. Definitely my go to and smells like melons which is a bonus.

I bought this spray cause my local ulta was out of regular and I went to set my makeup and it wouldn't even come out. If I could give this zero stars I would.
Lo Lo from Forney, TX
This is great for oily skin! It's the best setting spray that I ever used. It makes my makeup smooth and long lasting.
I hated it
Bri from Gilbert, Arizona
It's like spraying white silly string on your face literally. It sprays out white clumps all over your face. If it does spray like a mist then when it dries it feels like sand on your face. Worst thing I've ever bought at Ulta BY FARR.
Wanted to love this
Asalem from Texas
My first bottle sprayed out awkwardly and not in a continuous mist, it sprayed my face with a bunch of white dots of powder. I exchanged it and same thing. I ended up spraying my face in a different spray and patted light handed to help get rid of the powder dots. It makes you look like your face has dry skin patches and it ruins your makeup look. Gonna return since I can't seem to find a functioning bottle that mists & not spray so harshly.
I want to love this spray...

When the nozzle doesn't get clogged up and spray globs of product on your face leaving a white residue everywhere, it is an amazing product. It keeps my oiliness at bay all day. So you may get one or two good uses out of it and then it's useless. The potential for a great product is almost there just needs a little work! I wish they would work on the nozzle and make this better. Still searching for my holy grail matte setting spray.
Maria from Azusa, CA
Sprayed this on and my makeup did not melt off even though it was at least 106 degrees outside. I was really impressed. I even dabbed my face to dry off the sweat and the napkin was clean, no foundation came off!
I wouldn't go for this one again
Michelle from East Bay, Ca
This definitely mattifies your skin if you're super oily. However, it's got to be the most finicky product I've used for setting spray. It doesn't come out as a continuous mist like the original formula does. The nozzle gets clogged easily and shoots a stream of white dots onto your face. I've tried two bottles and they both do the same thing. It also leaves what looks to be chunks of powder on your face. The second time I used it I tried to pat it into my skin with dampened beauty blender and that helped a little bit it still had visible residue that made my skin look like it was dry and flaking.
No longer my go-to
V from Los Angeles
This item used to be the only setting spray that worked for my oily skin. Now the nozzle doesn't work and it gets clogged with globs of product. Morphe get it together.
I would not purchase again
Momica from California
When I spray on my face this gel like stuff comes out and it stained my t-shirt. It was pretty messy and didn't come out as a even spray
I would not buy this ever again
Bri from Visalia, CA
this was not a good product for my skin personally or how I like the finish of my makeup to be
Waste of money!

Would clump and ruin makeup leaving white spots !!
MakeupbyMeg from New York
I'm a huge Morphe fan and I've been using the continuous setting spray since it came out but this one is horrible. I just bought it yesterday and I went to do my makeup today. It squirted all over my face in globs and then it was clogged! Returning immediately!
Does not compare to the regular
Nyx from Ormond Beach, FL
My local Ulta was out of the regular continous setting spray and figured I'd give this one a shot. My mistake! It leaves flakes all over my face and the nozzle gets clogged constantly. It doesn't spray evenly no matter how much I wipe it down. Overall just, not really worth it.
